I made an appointment online to get routine bloodwork done at 9:00 am because it had to be fasting, and I had to delay taking my thyroid medicine and eating breakfast in order to do this. I scheduled at this location, which is much farther from my home than another one, because I could get an early morning appointment sooner. I arrived on time and checked in from my cell phone, as instructed. When I was not called in by about 9:15 I went in to check and there was no one at the desk and no one answered my phone call. I left around 9:20 to drive home because I was expecting to meet a contractor at my home at 10:00. I also needed to take my thyroid meds asap, then wait 1/2 hour to eat something before that 10:00 appt. Meanwhile, at 9:35 while I was driving I received a text saying my technician was ready for me. It would have been another 5 or 10 minutes at least before they pulled up the paperwork and did the blood draw. So LabCorp expects us to arrive on time for our appointments or risk forfeiting them, yet I was not contacted until 35 minutes after my appointment time. I was very angry at wasting my time, gas, and energy, and delaying my meds, for this kind of inefficient and disrespectful service. I do not know what happened but I have sent this information to LabCorp via their website and I will see what they have to say. I have had to reschedule at another location a week from now, which delays beginning medical treatment. What a waste of time! read more
