Finally checked out this new spot in Morrow, and it is a total game-changer for the local plant-based scene! It's rare to find 100% vegan Asian comfort food this authentic. The Stir-Fry Noodles are the real deal--thick, chewy, and loaded with that smoky "wok hei" flavor. The "chicken" topping was perfectly crispy, and the fresh cilantro really brightened the dish. We also tried the braised tofu in chili oil and the crispy fried pouches. The tofu was incredibly silky and soaked up all that fragrant spice, while the fried sides had the perfect crunch without being greasy. Huge portions and bold flavors. Whether you're vegan or not, this is a must-visit in the Southlake area!
It has been a while since I've eaten at this location due to me having a not so positive experience so I decided to give it another try. I typically get the Grilled C Wrap but wanted to try something different so decided to get the Philly Cheesesteak. I was excited to try it but when I got home and unwrapped the sandwich it was EXTREMELY soggy with soooo much of the cashew cheese sauce on it. It honestly looked as if it was thrown together quickly and very sloppy. The toppings were falling out and I couldn't eat it with my hands being that it was DRENCHED with sauce and falling apart. Was able to eat some portions of it but with it being drenched in sauce I kinda lost my appetite.I don't live far from this location but I didn't feel like driving back up there and I was hungry AF. Not sure of who was prepared the food that day but it was very disappointing.
Hello! I will tackle this review in 3 parts: 1-ease of ordering online, 2-food pick up, and 3-food quality. The inside of the place has a nice calming quality with green walls. The restroom was clean and well stocked. The light flickers a lot before it comes on. Not sure if that is an electrical issue or bulb going bad. 1 - it was pretty easy to order online. The only issue is that there isn't an option to have the sauce ofn the side. I abhor soggy food, especially sandwiches, so I opted for no sauce and then asked for it in person. That was an issue because they have to "do inventory and account for it". First time I have ever heard something like that, but mmmkay. Got the sauces for the sammies. 2-food pickup was ok. No one was out front. I rang the little bell and still no one came. I finally caught the eye of someone through the kitchen window and he came out. Not exactly a great way to do business, but wasn't terrible. Food was ready for pickup as indicated on my text. 3-I ordered 4 things to try and because I was headed to the airport to go back to San Diego. First, the fried green tomatoes. They were very good. Nice crunch and great batter. Maybe a bit too much batter and you only get 4 of them. The sauce wasn't my fav so I just ate the tomatoes as was and they were good. I would get them again. Second, the salt and pepper tofu. Ok. I was really looking forward to this and hate to say that I was extremely disappointed. There was too much rice, celery, and onions. I love celery and onions and peppers but this was overkill. When I thought of pepper, I thought about the black pepper and not bell peppers. The tofu was a bit dry and flavorless. I couldn't taste the salt or peppers and I only received 4 pieces. Would not order again. Third, the BLT. I only took 2 bites because I wanted to eat the other bowl. But this was great!! Lots of bacon and fresh veggies. Looking forward to devouring the entire thing! Would def order again. Fourth, the shrimp poboy, again, I only took 2 bites because I wanted to eat the other bowl. But this was amazing!! Loaded with crunchy and perfectly battered shrimp and fresh veggies. Looking forward to devouring the entire thing! Would def order again.
I was on a hunt for a vegan place to eat in Morrow while visiting a friend. Ordered the battered mushrooms with brown rice & cabbage, buffalo cauliflower wings and superbowl quinoa with grilled mushrooms. Battered mushrooms was hard almost broke my teeth eating it. The brown rice & cabbage was good. Super Bowl quinoa had very little grilled mushrooms not worth it. The best part of the meal was the buffalo cauliflower wings! The server was nice and accommodating. We at inside the restaurant but they didn't have any plates only take out boxes. My friend was really disappointed but we are willing to try another location of Envegan because we are new vegans. Any tips on vegan restaurants in Metro Atlanta ??
I really enjoy my sandwich and cauliflower but the cake was not good at all ,I was so disappointed as I don't usually get desert but today I had a taste for some and it wasn't good at all but overall I love it here so this could never detour me
My vegan coworker has raved about this spot and I'm so glad I went. I can already see myself running here for a quick bite during professional development or after work. I read the spicy cauliflower wings reviews and they are the first thing you need order for your first visit. No it doesn't taste exactly like meat, but I was so impressed with well the batter held together. I also had a black bean burger with a lettuce wrap and the sweet potato fries. You will not taste or see an ounce of grease on those fries. I just needed some more salt because I'm not vegan but I love food period. The environment is green and serene so I I'll definitely stay the next time I visit before the end of the month. The workers are very informative and attentive to their first timers and returners. I can tell they've established a rapport with their customers.
Always a treat when I eat at envegan. Customer service is great and restaurant is clean. From ordering to receiving food was about 10 mins. Cons There is no dine in option. Cauliflower wings only come in 1 flavor hot Other than that I love this place.
2.5 stars. Wanted a vegan lunch spot but left feeling just mehhhh. We tried the creamy shroom sandwhich and a small Mac n cheese. I loooove a good vegan Mac but this one left a lot to be desired, super oily but flavor was off. The creamy shroom was OK, but very salty. There's so many flavor profiles you can elevate in vegan food I just don't want smothering in oil and salt but that's just me! We did really like the chocolate pb cake which was $6 a slice. Don't think we'd be back! Potential is there.
Getting takeout on our way to FL. Wow they are fast!!! The fried pickles we're delicious but the black bean wrap was extremely greasy. It was bland tasting too, no flavor that tickled the tastebuds. The strawberry smoothie was yummy like a dessert. After eating the wrap I felt the need to wash my hands and face of all grease. I might try it again when driving through.

Sooo...we haven't been to this establishment in a couple years. We usually eat vegan/meatless meals on Mondays so we decided to have lunch from Envegan. They are like many vegan establishments, pricey. We ordered the Beyond burger $12.95, none of the burgers or sandwiches come with fries. You have to order separately. The burger wasn't bad, skimpy on the toppings. I just know I will take my behind to Kroger or Sam's and buy me a case of 8 beyond burgers for the price. Basically, you're paying for convenience! read more

Wow! Talk about flavorful! I was driving from I-75 South and wanted a healthier option for dinner. The place was busy with take out orders but they kept it going. I dined here and it was not much of a wait. I had the buffalo cauliflower which was very good. If you like real buffalo, you won't miss the chicken. I had the crab cake burger per the recommendation of the young man behind the counter. I had it without the bun and just lettuce. The crab was flavorful and not over done with stuffing and the sauce on the side is awesome. I was impressed that they had silver decorative trays to serve your food. Maybe I'm easily impressed as this is a fast food, hole in the wall place with only a handful of tables. I liked how clean the tables were and how brightly lit the establishment is. The servers were polite. On the way out, I purchased the vegan chocolate cake. I must say that too is quite good. Is this really a vegan cake? I read a previous comment about the selection not being vegan. Since I'm not vegan or vegetarian, it didn't bother me. If I had wanted a smoothie, I wish they had the option for coconut or almond milk and not just soy milk. I would even suggest a gluten free bread for the paleo folks but that may take away from the goodness and flavor. So the name may not be exactly what it is and is probably more of a good spot for a pescatarian, but I will recommend it to anyone else who wants good flavorful food with plant based options set in a clean space. The next time I'm driving down I-75 South again, I'm coming here for some food. read more

Mm mm Envegan! While on vacation I very seldom stick to my diet but was lucky to find this little gem with a little help from Yelp that was a short distance off of the interstate. Staff was friendly, helpful, and made mention that everything is 100% vegan. I initially ordered the Sweet BBQ sandwich that was suggested by a customer as her favorite (Smoked vegan ribs, tomato, brussel sprouts, purple onions, and 1000 Island dressing) with a side of sweet potato fries, avocado smoothie, green tea, and a cookies and cream shake. I wasn't a fan of the sweet BBQ sandwich and the smoothie was just ok but the fries, tea, and shake were so good. I then ordered the Classic Grilled B- Burger (grilled vegan beef patty, grilled onions, pickles, cheese, lettuce, tomato, 1000 sauce on a sesame bun). I enjoyed every bite, it was fresh and full of flavor. I was stuffed but couldn't leave without trying their cheesecake and it was delicious as well. The restaurant is small yet welcoming by staff and customers. Love all of the options!!! read more

One word. IMPRESSED. My friend and I were hungry and thought we'd be adventurous and try something new and exciting. Just cause we get tired of the same old fast food around the area. So we picked Envegan. No regrets. NONE WHATSOEVER. It almost makes me question "are you sure everything is vegan????" CAUSE IT WAS SO BOMB. Mac and cheese was full of flavor and extra creamy. It's probably now my fav Mac and cheese ever. Forget getting velveeta from your local store. Just go to morrow, and get the envegan version. My friend had the crab cake sandwich. I took a bite and it was honestly heaven on earth. It's a little too big so you'll probably have to have a wide mouth to take a good bite or smash the bun down! But overall so crispy and yummy. I had the sweet bbq sandwich, wasn't as good as the crab cake sandwich but it wasn't bad either! It gets a little messy to eat and falls apart, but who cares right. When it's good, it's good. Just get in my belly. We also had the curry pockets which weren't really my favorite, but it wasn't awful either. Oh! And can't forget the dessert. We had the Black Forest cake (I think that's what it's called) it was so moist and fluffy. And just chocolatey goodness. I just have one serious question. Are you sure this place is even 100% vegan? cause what. Mind blowned. Definitely will be back to try out more items on the menu, and question the workers cause I'm seriously not convinced this place is vegan. Lollll read more

Thanks to yelp! This place is right tucked away and beside Dairy Queen!! We would've never found it had it not been for Yelp!! Thanks for that!! We ordered Buffalo Cauliflower "wings", French fries, and a BBQ sandwich. 2 pink lemonades & an eclair! The "wings" were great! A little warm, texture was awesome! Hot crispy fries. The BBQ was busy, messy and very appetizing. All the extras on the sandwich (Tomatoes, caramelized onions, sprouts on sourdough bread) My husband absolutely approves and says next he wants to try the crab cake sandwich ( due to all the reviews) The lemonade was calm and refreshing. The eclair is over the top and I would choose this cup of heaven over any non vegan dessert!! I was overly excited about this! The place is small, clean and the employees were smiling and friendly. There is a kids menu, smoothies, fresh salads, and Pre-made "ready to grab" desserts. read more

So this was my first time ever at an all out Vegan restaurant and it was amazing. Right now bc of Covid restrictions you cannot dine in so I went in and ordered to take out. I got the Spicy buffalo Cauliflower Win and Philly Cheesesteak. I absolutely loved the cauliflower and I never even knew I liked cauliflower like that. It came with some celery in the box. The cheesesteak was made with vegan beef and was still good. It was a bit on the greasy side but that's normal for a Philly and the cheese sauce they smothered the hoagie in was insanely addicting. I will definitely be going back for more cauliflower and to try the other dishes. They have a variety of options on their menu which I have included. My total was around $16. Definitely worth a try if you are in the area and looking for vegan options. read more

I visited this place for the first time after hearing about it in the vegan community for a while. It's rare to find vegan in Morrow, so it had a lot of attention. I noticed immediately they seemed to have rebranded - going from the name "Huli" to "Envegan", and I think this change will be good for them and their target customers. I was surprised at the high traffic through here; I honestly expected the place to be empty. The store opened at 11; when I arrived at 11:05, there were already three other customers ready to place an order. So clearly they're doing something right. I wouldn't exactly call the interior a "restaurant".... It's very dull, small, and feels like an empty corner. This is good for grabbing food and gooooing somewhere else with it. The food itself was hit/miss I think. I tried the philly cheesesteak, onion rings, and mac and cheese. -Philly Cheesesteak: Amazing!! The bread they choose is great, the meat substitute was great, and the sauces/flavors were spot on. A great vegan version. -Onion Rings: Meh. Dry and way too crispy in my opinion. A let down for me. -Mac and Cheese: Not bad, but not great. I've had better vegan mac & cheese in the Atlanta area, but this was a solid effort. It's an option if you're really craving vegan mac and this is all there is. They also have brownies, cake slices, and cake cups (cakes supplied by Mama Lees Bakery, which is at other vegan restaurants such as Loving Hut). I got a cake slice, which seemed to me like it had been sitting for daysssss and past its time. It was pretty stale and needed attention. Overall, this place isn't bad? It's worth trying. That Philly Cheesesteak was bomb. But I wouldn't go back for it. read more

Very good. I ordered too much food and had to take it to go. My very first time coming here too. It was their first year anniversary of the business being open. If your total was over $15, you got a free appetizer(buffalo cauliflower, "nuggets", and curry patties) and a pink lemonade! Good deal. You could've honestly been full off of that. I'll definitely be back. The only thing I didn't like is that they allowed a customer to bring their dog in the establishment. Not everyone is comfortable with dogs, which aren't service dogs, especially around food. read more

The food is definitely not worth it. If you're trying to figure out if you want to make food or order, go ahead and make your own food. Vegan food is usually expensive, but to pay almost $6 for pickle fries, that's just ridiculous. Especially when you only get about 6 fries. I could pay $6 for an entire jar of whole pickles, breading, and oil for $6. I'll be making my own from here on out and buying my own Gardein meats to do it all myself because this is ridiculous. And in Atlanta, with plenty of other vegan spots, this place will not be missed read more

This was definitely not what I expected. I used to go to this spot for Vietnamese dishes, now it has turned into vegetarian restaurant on the Southside. Yessss! I truly had gotten tired of going north for good vegetarian meals. Very clean atmosphere with excellent customer service. I love the color scheme of the place plus it's bright and airy. The food was very good, better than I expected. I tried the Sweet BBQ vegan duck panini with fries. My Fiance are the BBQ vegan sandwich with fries. The food was made fresh to order and the ingredients were definitely fresh and good. This will be soothe one of my fav veggie spot for good "fast" food...lol! Well not so fast but close to it! read more

I was really hyped to find this vegan spot in Clayton Co. I was even more hyped to see that the area is becoming quite trendy. I was greeted upon entry which is always plus. They even had a line, which in this situation made me feel a little more comfortable. As i waited in line I noticed several vegan desserts. Now I'm not the biggest sweet eater but i was curious as to how it taste so i picked up a slice of cheese cake for $4.95. Had i known it was $4.95 i probably would have put it back. Lol. Anyhoo.....still undecided as I reached the register I just went with what seemed the most appealing to the eye and something i couldn't come across regularly and that was the sweet bbq sandwhich for $8.95. The sandwiches do not come with a side so don't forget to pick a side. Taste: Wasn't a fan of the meat so i took the meat off and really enjoyed the sandwhich. The sauce was really good. Fresh ingredients. Not sure if it was organic or locally grown but it was definitely fresh. And my sandwhich had bean sprouts. I LOVE bean sprouts on my sandwiches. I love bean sprouts period. Okay...I'm focused again. The cheesecake......Way too sweet for me. The small bite i had seemed tasty but too sweet for my palate. I do understand that I'm not the biggest sweet eater so it was probably me. I think most desserts are too sweet. The interior was clean and had a nice seating area. Nothing fancy but definitely comfortable. read more

I love the food here! Every time I come here the cashier is always so friendly and patient as I decide what to order. You pay first at the counter. Then you seat yourself. Portions are huge for the price meaning delicious leftovers to savor for later. The buffalo cauliflower is my favorite appetizer so far! I've been here 3 times thus far and ordered it every time because it's that goooood :-) They have desserts in the cooler/freezer if you're in the mood for sweets. And they even sell snacks and other vegan products. There's ample parking as it's in a plaza located right next to Dairy Queen. I sincerely hope business will be booming for them soon, definitely will be coming back often. So ecstatic that there's finally an all vegan restaurant in the Morrow area. read more
A damn good find thanks to Yelp. There aren't many vegan options in Morrow (if any), so I was pleased to read about this place on Yelp. They're an all-vegan restaurant with a slight Vietnamese tilt to it (the owner appears to be Vietnamese). I got the pumpkin soup (delicious) and the Kale Yeah salad (delicious, flavorful, and filled with nutritious items like kale, black beans, avocado, red onions, sprouts, carrots, etc.) The vegan creamy dressing on it tasted really good too. My only complaint is that the salad was inundated with the creamy dressing. I'd recommend getting the dressing on the side. Fairly affordable too. I believe that the salad was $9 and the soup was $5. read more
