I found a keeper today for when I'm traveling home on either 75 or 675. It's definitely closer to 75 but not terribly far from 675 if you're looking for a good meal. I sometimes do just one meal per day so I ordered heavy today and got really two entrees. I got the Crispy C Quinoa Salad and it was delicious! I think next time I will ask for it without the barbecue sauce on the chicken as it was too sweet for me. I also got the Creamy Curry Plate lunch special. Now, looking back at the menu, I see that I could have gotten brown rice for an extra dollar, which I would have done, had I known. I didn't eat much of the white rice. It has been a while since I've eaten at this location due to me having a not so positive experience so I decided to give it another try. I typically get the Grilled C Wrap but wanted to try something different so decided to get the Philly Cheesesteak. I was excited to try it but when I got home and unwrapped the sandwich it was EXTREMELY soggy with soooo much of the cashew cheese sauce on it. It honestly looked as if it was thrown together quickly and very sloppy. The toppings were falling out and I couldn't eat it with my hands being that it was DRENCHED with sauce and falling apart. Was able to eat some portions of it but with it being drenched in sauce I kinda lost my appetite.I don't live far from this location but I didn't feel like driving back up there and I was hungry AF. Hello! I will tackle this review in 3 parts: 1-ease of ordering online, 2-food pick up, and 3-food quality. The inside of the place has a nice calming quality with green walls. The restroom was clean and well stocked. The light flickers a lot before it comes on. Not sure if that is an electrical issue or bulb going bad. 1 - it was pretty easy to order online. The only issue is that there isn't an option to have the sauce ofn the side. I abhor soggy food, especially sandwiches, so I opted for no sauce and then asked for it in person. That was an issue because they have to "do inventory and account for it". First time I have ever heard something like that, but mmmkay. Got the sauces for the sammies. 2-food pickup was ok. No one was out front. I rang the little bell and still no one came. I finally caught the eye of someone through the kitchen window and he came out. Not exactly a great way to do business, but wasn't terrible. Food was ready for pickup as indicated on my text. 3-I ordered 4 things to try and because I was headed to the airport to go back to San Diego. First, the fried green tomatoes. They were very good. Nice crunch and great batter. Maybe a bit too much batter and you only get 4 of them. The sauce wasn't my fav so I just ate the tomatoes as was and they were good. I would get them again. Second, the salt and pepper tofu. Ok. I was really looking forward to this and hate to say that I was extremely disappointed. There was too much rice, celery, and onions. I love celery and onions and peppers but this was overkill. When I thought of pepper, I thought about the black pepper and not bell peppers. The tofu was a bit dry and flavorless. I couldn't taste the salt or peppers and I only received 4 pieces. Would not order again. Third, the BLT. I only took 2 bites because I wanted to eat the other bowl. But this was great!! To be honest, I am the furthest from a vegan, but I crave this spot every time I am on this side of town. Everything is made to order, comes out piping hot and fresh. Seasons are well balanced and never too salty. I have never had a bad entree or appetizer in the last 3 years I have been coming. This was my first time trying Envegan. I had the shrimp po-boy. It had to largely pieces of romaine lettuce ( with the backs on them) making the sandwich bulky and hard to pick up. Then it had 4 pieces of tomato 2 on top with 2 over ripe pieces on the bottom. There were 4 pieces of shrimp they were tasty overall the sandwich sucked NEXT, I ordered the fried cauliflower chicken ( there is no signage that says it comes doused in hot sauce I don't eat that much hot sauce. I was able to send it back for a plain order with sauce on the side. However, the cauliflower coating was hard instead of crispy. I wouldn't recommend it. I read the spicy cauliflower wings reviews and they are the first thing you need order for your first visit. No it doesn't taste exactly like meat, but I was so impressed with well the batter held together. I also had a black bean burger with a lettuce wrap and the sweet potato fries. I loooove a good vegan Mac but this one left a lot to be desired, super oily but flavor was off. The creamy shroom was OK, but very salty. My first visit and the cashier was very accommodating. I am on Daniel's Fast, so I have a lot of restrictions. After reviewing the menu, I couldn't decide what I could have. I did not expect the flavors of vegan food to jump off my palate the way that spicy Buffalo cauliflower "wings" did. Wow! What a beautiful surprise! It was definitely worth every savory hot bite. Pick up time was accurate and very quick. The food was very delicious and fulfilling! I would order it again. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the smoothie. I ordered a strawberry smoothie and it tasted like water and strawberry seeds, and having a paper straw didn't help it taste any better. It's the only thing I didn't enjoy and I would NOT recommend it or any of the smoothies since they're about $6. As for the overall price, I haven't been to any vegan/vegetarian spot that isn't on the pricier side so I didn't mind it at all but it may be a bit steep for some. Finally got a chance to go back. Ordered: Curry pockets: Noticeable and enjoyable curry flavor. Doesn't even need the Thai dipping sauce. A Bahn Mi: The pickled carrots, cilantro, dressing and grilled onions were to die for. Bread was soft and fresh tasting. A+ Southern Grilled BBQ-R (new dish): Collards are good, they are vinegary which I prefer. Mac n cheese, meh. BBQ-R are the most pork rib-like texture I've ever seen with faux ribs. But they were so realistic that they were a little off putting to me. However, the flavor was good. B Breakfast Plate (new dish): Potatoes needed a lot more seasoning. Toast was toast. Bacon looked eerily similar to bacon, but had a wonderful smoky flavor. Fried egg! This I have never seen before, and it's texture and taste was outstanding! I started a new journey a few weeks ago and chose to go vegan. This place popped up on my app and a friend told me too. I never thought a small town like morrow would have such a place! Menu offers different selections. There's also different protein powders and canned good available to purchase. You can call ahead and place your order. They also have Vegan sweets!!! Which I was super excited for. Small little spot tucked away in a plaza. I ordered the Banh Mi & Curry Patty. Also ordered a Philly Cheesesteak. The banh mi was good it would have been better with jalapeños and cucumbers! The curry little apps I didn't care too much for needed a little salt. And the philly was pretty good. Plant Based Burger was amazing. During these days I have to give even more credit because it travels well. I drove 15min from the restaurant to my home and the food was not overly soggy. No, it was not as hot as eating it as soon as the gave but but it did not affect the flavor. It has a sauce that was a favorite of mine. They don't hide flavors but instead used the extras on the sandwich to highlight their work. Not salty or oily. It was filling and the team serving me were cordial. They was so good, I almost forgot it was just a vegetable. My crabcake burger was great. My kale salad was not what I expected. It had kind of a grassy/ earthy taste to it. The food is not bad. The only reason I can not give this place a 4 or 5 is due to the fact that they have gluten or soy in almost every product. I was able to find things on the menu I could eat. Which was a bowl and sweet potato fries. Even then I changed most of it to make it healthy. Very sad to see so many Vegan people eating food with so much gluten and soy. You are better off not being vegan than eating here everyday. The ketchup came in Heinz Ketchup package that contains high fructose corn syrup, "natural flavoring" + other sugars. A lot of cutting corners as a Vegan. The food can be amazing and natural. Not just "No Meat" vegans. I read a lot of reviews before hand about how good this place was. Reviews are very misleading in my opinion. I think this place was better pre-Covid. I remember trying a Kale wrap long time ago a coworker brought for me when she was trying out this place. It was so good! I went in the other day stating that this was my first time here and the guy just stood there, impatiently waiting for me to place my order. I felt rushed so I went for the Kale Quinoa Burrito (and some fries just to be on the safe side). The burrito was not what I expected. I'm no vegan, I just like food and I am NOT a fan of the "fake meat". I must have misread on the menu that this burrito included the fake chicken. I picked all of the "chicken" out, needless to say, and finished the burrito. It was good... the sauce reminded me of a Big Mac sauce from McDonald's. I think I'd go again, but only for a salad. And next time I will ask if it includes "meat". I really wanted to have a better experience. The place had an old smell to it. I didn't peep the health score.
