We have purchased 2 vehicles from this business in 2 years time - Last year when we purchased our car i was told business was under new ownership (so bad reviews might be void ) First your buying a used car and they typically have vehicles under 15k so a "used" car Their mechanic checks out cars and seems very knowledgeable -speaking with him he said hes been a mechanic for 20 years plus They take trades and buy from auctions - chk out the main things and put it on the lot at a very fair price - Ok now ..we just bought our daughter a chevy traverse test drive went great - was clean so we made our deal with smiles :) By the time we got home, check engine light came on along with the tire light- called the dealership and they were willing to have us come back in so the mechanic could check it out - They were amazing even though we bought the car as is, they wanted to make it right and help us Mechanic put some fuel injector cleaner in turned off light and 200 miles no lights Was told if light came back on please call :) Again -we bought as is Unfortunately, removing bad posts from Yelp is impossible -even if the business changes his ownership :/ You're buying a used car. Mike, the owner of the dealership for the last couple of years, is a great guy who wants to make sure he does something many car dealers don't do. He just flat out does the right thing for his customers. How can I say that? Simple. Not a good experience at all. They do not seem to be interested in selling cars but rather just making money off you. 25% interest to finance regardless of credit score or down payment. Wanted $3,000 down on a $5,000 car and then $283 per month for a year. Asked about total cash price about the door and they reduced the total price by $50. Very insulting all the way around. It's pretty simple, as far as a used car dealership goes, this place is reliable, well priced and honest. The owner is very friendly and honest, and the mechanic goes out of his way to ensure your vehicle is in tiptop shape. Keep in mind these are used vehicle so you don't know what may spring up, but if you speak to them after the fact then they are always willing to help. I've bought 2 vehicles from here and both are great. They even gave me above KBB for my trade-in. This place can be trusted. read more

I just bought my fourth vehicle from this place, and as always, I can't say enough good things about Mike, Larry, and the rest of the team there. I've always found them to be very transparent, fair, and genuine over the years that I've known them. Aside from routine maintenance, I can honestly say I've never had to do anything to any vehicle I've purchased there, and two of them have been for teenage drivers...that says alot! : ) This place will continue to be my first stop whenever I'm in need of a new car. There is always going to be some risk when buying a used car, and I get that. Regardless of where you go for a used vehicle, there is always going to be a chance that something unforeseen happens. The difference here though, is that I believe these folks really do go out of their way to mitigate that risk as much as possible and make sure the cars they sell are safe, reliable and affordable. Be very careful about buying a car here. I'm not going to say they are dishonest, but everything points in that direction. We bought a Subaru there on November 24 for $4000 and since then, with very light use, we find it needs plugs and wires,$250, and it may need other repairs. If you aren't a mechanic yourself, you may want to pay for an inspection at an independent shop. We should have, but the distances involved and our schedules detected us. The CONS: HAVE YOUR MECHANIC TAKE A LOOK FIRST The Pros: One of the salesmen is very honest I recently found out I was pregnant, and need a safe car. I found the car I was looking for at a good price at Enumclaw Auto Exchange. I first called and spoke to one man, and told him that I was interested in one of his cars. I asked if there was anything kind of work that he knew the car would be needing, as Enumclaw is a far drive, and with baby on the way, I didn't want any suprise expenses. He said it was a great car, and to come out and look at it. So I scheduled a test drive, importunately (or fortunately) on a day that the first gentleman was not there. So I spoke to a second man who also said the car was in good condition. Unfortunately due to my condition, I was unable to make my test drive appointment, so I had my father test drive it for me. He said upon arriving, the 2nd man was very nice, they took it for a test drive, tested the brakes and the box filled up with water. A few of the dashboard elements were not working, and the something in the rear end needed to be fixed. The salesmen working (I would name him, but afraid he would get in trouble for telling the truth) said if your daughter is pregnant this is NOT the car for her. I am very thankful that the 2nd salesman was honest, but not pleased with the first who told me to come test drive the car in the first place. read more

Unfortunately, we went back. Just over a year and a half ago we purchased a PT Cruiser from here. We knew we were going to have to replace 2 tires. Take it to buy new tires only to find out one of the tires was over 10 years old and the other was for a Volkswagen. We found out within a short amount of time the brakes were not even legal to be on the road, they were less tha. 25%. But we went back....... I HAVE the haggle so we always go in with set pricing in mind. The sales person has NO say on whether or not he get to make a sale or not. We were WAY apart on price. I saw that they showed a car my wife was interested in so I gave them a call. I told them what car it was and the salesman gave me the immediate impression that he was likely not to be trusted. I was polite but went as far as asking if it had a clean history with no accidents and less then 3 owners. I was told it was never wrecked and had two owners. Bullshit, it had been wrecked twice and had four previous owners with a least two of those coming in a very short time. **** Buyers Beware**** Purchased a suv from this dealership. Driving home the check engine light came on, transmission sensor came on and overdrive. Contacted the dealership to let them know about the problem not even 4 hours from the purchase. The owner Wolf said that its just the sensor malfunction he LIED I took it to my mechanic and he said transmission was faulty. Contacted the dealership again and told them what's happening. He said he has a mechanic that can do it for 2800. I told them that I shouldn't have to pay for a transmission because I only owned the car for a few days. He laughed at me he said that he would shoulder the cost of the transmission if I paid 1500 Cash. The repair took almost two weeks and I read up on IMPLIED WARRANTY laws from the Attorney General. I was called every name on the book by the owner of dealership. I'm out $1500 on top of the $6500 I've already paid. Didn't have a vehicle to take my children back and forth to school, and they held my vehicle In hostage if I didn't pay up. From other reviews and my own experience all they do is take advantage of me and others. I purchased a vehicle from here and before I could even make it home the engine light turns on. I get a diagnostic only to get a two page diagnostic back full of at least 9 different problems, within the first month of barely driving I had to spend $3,000 on repairs. I still sit here today with issues that the car had before I purchased it only a couple months in and they refuse to help or take responsibility for what they do to people. On top of that the owner speaks Terribly to his customers name calling and shaming them for stating facts and asking what they are gonna do for us. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. People are friendly, but the cars they sell are garbage. Salesperson was not knowledgeable about the condition of the vehicle, which should have been my first clue. I understand you get what you pay for and that purchasing a used car you take a risk but you would think that the car would last longer than a week. I purchased an "as-is" car a little over a week ago, not even 3 days later the engine light goes on. After finally getting it diagnosed, I was able to identify that it had a leaking brake booster and other various vacuum leaks. Fast forward 3 more days. This last weekend (a week and a day from the date of purchase) the car left me and my family of 5 stranded 30 miles from home. I had to get the car towed and find transportation home 7PM at night. Again, I understand the risk but it seems to all coincidental. When I called the dealership for a solution, they recommend I have it towed to their mechanic they work with in Auburn. They claimed that if this was in fact a transmission issue that he would only charge me $1200 bucks or so. So not only did I buy a suspect car from a suspect dealership, I'm to have it fixed by some suspect mechanic?! To many coincidental issues for me to recommend this spot. This has placed an enormous amount of stress on my family, financially and mentally. Please look elsewhere. read more

I live in Renton and found a Toyota RAV4 on Cars.com . Soo I called the number and reached out to the Enumclaw Auto Exchange !! A guy named Chris answered and help us with any questions !! We went in to test drive and from the start Chris was straight forward with us his words met up with the car fax report . And the test drive had me sold so we go in and start the paper work witch was a 2 day process and come Saturday Chris was off so we felt with the Owner him self (sweet man) !! Not only did he work with us he stayed open 40 minutes late for us to finish up paper work so we did not have to wait another day to take home our car !!! Then the next day The Owner calls me and told me he was going to write me a check for 200$ and send it with my plates I asked him what it was for and he said the 200 hundred I was to put down to hold the car while we waited for the car loan to be approved!! And since that's supposed to go tords my down payment and I wrote a check for $2000.00 I technically over paid by $200 and instead of keeping it he is returning it .... We sold our 2005 Chevy Colorado with the intent of buying our neighbors Ford Expedition as we needed a larger vehicle. Unfortunately it was sold out from under us to another neighbor so we were forced to find a vehicle in a pinch......I searched the internet and found a bunch of vehicles we were interested in. We went to EAE to look at a 2006 Volvo XC90......the gentleman who was helping us completely shot down our wanting that and instead insisted on a 2003 Dodge Durango SLT. We test drove it and at first it seemed great, was in decent condition with the exception of the window control panel in the rear behind the drivers side being popped out, but we thought "easy fix". Moving forward, this vehicle has cost us over $3000 in repairs.......a SEVERE exhaust leak that was seeping into the cabin (that's just awesome for my 2 kids to breathe), the window actuator was broken and we had to replace it, it overheated on the freeway in California because the radiator cap was rotted, most recently my water pump and thermostat went out once again on the freeway in the rain and I had to have it towed.......these are just a few of the MANY issues we have had with this vehicle and now........my niece purchased a car from them and not 3 days later, her check engine light came on.......and tonight, the car died in the middle of the street......as I write this, my husband is going to rescue her.......this place is full of con artists and people who put lives at risk by resetting the "check engine" lights so they can make a sale by making their vehicles look like they're in good, operating condition when in actuality they arent. I bought a car from this company based on their claim that they had just recently replaced the water pump and timing belt. After several months and very little miles the water pump went out. When I asked them for the documentation for the supposed $1000 plus that they had spent on the water pump and timing belt they told me the receipts were not available. My mechanic who I have trusted for years said the water pump was the factory original and had not been replaced. Yesterday the timing belt went out after approximately 10,000 miles of use. As a result of the timing belt going now the car needs a valve job as well. The cost to repair is $1900 unless it did lower engine damage as well. The likely hood that the suppose NEW timing belt went out after only 10,000 miles is zero. I don't think they replaced any of these parts. At this point I have a car that is only worth scrap. I would not trust anything this company says nor would I ever recommend them to anyone. read more

Bought a 2002 Chevy suburban from them last week, paid $9000 cash for the car. I should have listened to my gut and walked away so I take responsibility for the money pit I now have. When I fist got in the car the ignition was sticky and wouldn't turn. It finally took the salesman a full minute with the accompanied jiggle and jerk of the steering wheel to get it engaged. This is when I should have left. I don't know why in the world a car lot would not make sure the first impression of the car went smoothly .I took it for a test drive seemed okay. I asked them to come down $1000 because the ignition was jacked. The said the would come down $250 and replace the ignition with a NEW one, which they noted on my bill of sale. I asked them multiple times if this was a good car and every response was "this is a small town and if we sold bad cars we wouldn't last long, plus our mechanic checks every vehicle out and services it before we sell them, if they have major problems we don't even sell them" ( it's important to note that the "mechanic" was lounging around dressed like he was ready to go out clubbing). Their biggest pitch to me was that their "warranty" was the ability to bring the car back to them for any fix and pay cost for the part and $35 per hour for labor. I bought the car. Got $1000 in new tires put on the same day ( which I was okay with because I didn't expect brand new tires) Within 24hrs the check engine light came on. Called the lot and was told to bring the car back and they would look at it. The "mechanic" said it was an emission leak code and cleared it. Said it was probably the gas cap. Drove it less than 20 miles back home and the check engine light popped back on. Called the lot and talked to the mechanic and asked him WTF he said he was just the mechanic I needed to talk to the owner. I talked to the owner he said take it to O Reilly's because they would tell me what the code was for free and then bring it back to them and they would "take care of it". Took it to a mechanic today and found out the catalytic converter needs to be replaced $1400, and there is a leak in the front differential that should be monitored. Also SURPRISE, SURPRISE NOT A NEW IGNITION. It doesn't get much worse than this crappy lot willing to lie in writing and lie to your face. I believe they intentionally sell cars with problems so they can rape you on the back end when you need to bring it in to be fixed. After all their "mechanic" checks every vehicle out right? Well, I agree with Nic S. that the seasoned gentelmen was friendly and not pushing for a quick sale. But when my wife and I did settle on a mini van we liked we brought a mechanic with us. He checked fluids, the tires, he even ran a scanner for the vans computer brain. All roses at this point so we buy it. Less than 24 hours after driving off the lot and less than 50 miles later the check engine light was now on, the overdrive light was flashing, and the check transmission message was on the readout screen. Took the van back to the dealership where the salesman and the machanic gave us a story about, the van has sat for a long time and that's most definitely the problem. They cleared the codes to shut off the warning lights and told my wife to drive the van. And if it happened again to come back in a weak. All the warning lights came back on hours later on a 2 mile trip to the store. We waited like salesman asked and waited a week and two days to limp the van back to the lot. This time however the salesman got pushy about my wife wasting his time and "you need to make an appointment before coming back". We got it fixed. Wich is a good thing because the transmission started shifting at the wrong time. Then wouldn't shift at all automatically. Well I had the van looked at by a machanic local to my house. It was a $50 speed sensor that was bad. And I belive the salesman, and inhouse machanic new it was fried. Lol, its not error on a microwave oven display that you can and should clear and keep using. A hard shift going downhill @ 60mph can be catastrophic for the car and deadly for the family... Nice guys up front. Shop around before you buy from Enumclaw Auto Exchange though. read more
