CRAZY PUSHY SALESMAN!!!! Looking to pick up a transit van and an xl f-150 for our company. Fugate ford had been recommended to us, though unfortunately our experience was not the best. We had wanted to trade in old company vehicles in exchange for the new. The salesman had offered to pay for our gas to compensate for our drive from Bellevue. About half way to the dealership the salesman had called and said that he "wanted to make sure we'd have our business by the end of the day" and went on to essentially manipulate us into doing business with him. The whole interaction from the start with this dealership seems a little shady and I wouldn't send my family or friends their direction. After we had decided to take business elsewhere a different representative reached out and had apologized on the dealers behalf which we respected. read more

I made my appointment on the Fugate website.I received the confirmation and the appointment reminder email. The day of the service appointment for my daughter's car I called to set up payment and was told I had no appointment. I explained to the service advisor that I had the confirmation email and that my daughter was on her way. Fugate was able to fit my daughter in at the time requested. Thank you Dixie and Samantha for fixing a problem that had nothing to do with the service department. The problem was the third party appointment website. Fugate Ford almost always receives the Courier Herald's annual "Best in Plateau/Enumclaw" honors in the automotive repair/dealership category. Should I then give Fugate Ford the benefit of the doubt? I elected not to respond to Fugate's obligatory email customer service survey after I had one of my Ford's serviced by Fugate. I subsequently changed my mind, was not able to retrieve Fugate's customer service satisfaction email; so, here I am....leaving feedback only for my own therapy and for the benevolence of other Fugate customers. When I receive repair quotes from the service advisor at Fugate: I can't help from feeling that the quotes are exorbitant and that I am being gouged and taking advantage of. Should I feel this way? I received a quote for calipers, pads and rotors for my car's rear brakes from Fugate totaling $1,500. I called Les Schwab. I was giiven an apples for apples /worse case scenario quote for $798.43!! In the end, because L S was able to salvage the existing rotors (honesty); the actual L S brake repair was for $504.42 !! How would you feel if you had a similar experience? Would you feel as if Fugate was taking advantage of you? Would you feel as if you were being gouged by Fugate? Should I mention the two different quotes for the needed front-end ball joint/tie-rod steering hardware? Fugated quoted me $1,800-2,800. Les Schab's inspection quote during the brake work for the same front-end repair was for $73611!! I don't presume to know why there is such a huge discrepancy between Fugate's and Les Schwab's similar repairs but the sulphorous discrepancies makes me hold my nose and to beware of Fugate. Are all of the service advisors at Fugate on some kind of commission or just one? Also, the service department charges a convenience fee at check-out for credit card payments!! They try to trick you to order new truck, after wasting half day of your time. They told me they will take my truck as trade in, so I drove there and wasted half of my day for them to drive it, crawl under, and do all the tests. They later said that truck has "salvaged" history, and they cannot take it, but kept pushing me to order new truck and deposit 5%. What a bogus place. Should be shut down. They also would not tell me their mark up fees, which some greedy dealerships add. I am 100% sure they would screw me over and add those later on the invoice when the time comes. Why not be straight up with customers. This is why I like Tesla, because you can just order a car without this shady middle man.. read more

I would like to thank Vince Swanson, Service Manager, for intervening when necessary. if you have any issues with your Service Advisor, he's the man to talk to. Much of the work I'd had performed was warranty work, but I've alao had them replace brake pads and rotors, and other minor repairs, and they have always done professional work. Jim Ellison, one of their chief mechanics is very good and will let you know of any issues arising, Katie, one of their advisors was very professional and pleasant to work with. Highly recommend for a smooth, no pressure experience. I recently purchased a preowned truck from Fugate Ford. It was the most seamless and hassle free experience I've ever had at a car dealer. I initially stopped in to browse, and Greg listened to what I was looking for and showed me a couple of trucks. During the test drive, (which was beautiful, btw) he didn't try to distract me with all the good points of the truck - there was light chat, but he let me pay attention to the truck. After the drive, to get some preliminary numbers, there was no sliding in a sales manager or closer, and no pressure what so ever. I brought my husband back a few days later and we decided to purchase it. I received a fair amount for my trade and dealt with Greg all the way until we signed the papers with finance. I saw a motorcycle on Facebook Marketplace. It was listed by Fugate Ford in Enumclaw. It was the 2009 Ninja ZX-RR!!! A one-of-a kind 225mph racing bike that Kawasaki raced in the World MotoGP!!! It's about a $25,000+ motorcycle they had it listed for about $2000 after taxes, licensing and a $200 DOCUMENT FEE. I called them immediately! They said they had hundreds of people interested and they just wanted to get rid of it because they don't deal in motorcycles. So I told them if it runs good and drives good I'll buy it now with my credit card and come get it! So, I did! I went and bought a helmet, expensive riding clothes for the rain and took a bus out to grab it! Well, it was dark and raining. So I drove it very slow all the way home, but it felt gutless. I couldn't get it to go faster than 70mph! So I called them and let them know there was a problem when I got home. The next day I called Kawasaki the manufacturer to find out if it needed higher octane fuel or something?? They had me read them the VIN number on the bike. She said it was a 2009 Ninja 250r... a common starter bike for beginners. That's a $20,000+ difference in value. So, I called them. And that's when it starts. They bounced me around like a basketball between dealers trying to get my money back. They told me last night that they would just refund me $700 to just keep the bike. So I agreed on that. I told him could I get that in writing? He said his boss wanted me to tell him the whole situation and he'd give me it in writing. And refund the $700. He said keep your phone on and beside you. So I did. All night. And no call all night. Then today ANOTHER dealer from Fugate calls me, talking over me and not letting me get a word in. Telling me forget all that, he has the bike sold and just get the bike back right now. Really? Just get stuck in Enumclaw for you guys? How about you guys come pick up your own garbage. The people in the repair department seem to try but as far as I can tell, they're dealing with inferior and problematic Ford vehicles and they're swamped with Ford vehicle problems and have given up trying. I kind of feel bad for them...these are terrible vehicles. I've been to this dealership 4 times since buying my vehicle new. Even an oil change involves leaving your vehicle there all day. I had an ABS module fail on my purchased new, low miles Ford and it caused multiple problems that disabled my vehicle and wound up costing me $2,800 in damage to other major vehicle components. It took a week and a half to get them to resolve the issues and multiple attempts to get it repaired. They said the reason my experience was so difficult is that they are having problems finding technicians. My vehicle had to be redone several times because of technician error. I received the vehicle back with grease smeared on the interior and exterior drivers door, gear shift, steering wheel and all around the drivers floor space. I drove home, cleaned up the mess and then drove the vehicle about 15 miles and the check engine light came on. I returned the vehicle and they found that a hose had been kinked when it was reinstalled. They fixed that but once again the vehicle was returned to me with a greasy interior. It seems to me that there's a "take it or leave it" attitude with these folks. I had to call them daily to see what the status was on my vehicle. I was patched through to the service dept. only to be hung up on several times, I sat on hold multiple times, ironically listening to a recording about their "award winning" service department. One time I was placed on hold in mid-day and a recording came on and told me they were closed. Not very faith inspiring. Sorry....but I'll never buy another Ford product again and I won't take my vehicle back to Fugate even though I live in walking distance. read more

Like a lot of folks, I try to avoid having to bring a vehicle in to the Ford dealership, due to my perception of the increased costs involved, but having an issue that my local shop has been unable to decipher, I decided to cut my losses and lean on the Fugate Service Department's in-depth expertise and diagnosis tooling to solve the intermittent errors my Escape has been experiencing. Getting an appointment was the worst part of the process; I had a 28-day wait to get into the shop, which seems to be the case for most auto work done. Not having a backup vehicle while my SUV was parked in the driveway, I got pretty good at Uber'ing for essentials. Finally, the day of my appointment arrived. Dropping off the vehicle was easy; the scheduling admin verified my vehicle and took the keys, along with some notes regarding what work I had recently done to diagnose the issue. Being assured that I could get any parts replaced back after the work was done, I hitched a ride back home to wait for the results. Eric, the Service tech assigned to my job, was very communicative, and successfully completed early diagnostics. The quote to proceed with repairs was a bit steep, so I asked him his professional perspective on that particular engine, and the likelihood of getting a good RoI on the cost involved. He patiently went through all of my concerns, and left me with a peace of mind to be willing to proceed. The parts were ordered, the work completed the next day, and I came by at 5pm to pick up the vehicle. Unfortunately, the box of removed parts (barely used parts I had just replaced at the other shop) were not with the scheduling admin, who told me to ask the cashier for the box. The Cashier did not know what I was asking for, and directed me back to the service department. They gave a call out to the tech who worked on my rig, and i was told I could pick them up on Monday. Thus began a series of phone calls to the service department, with no return calls. I am left with the impression that this just isn't a priority with them. Not a big deal, since I probably am unable to return them anyways after installation, but it's the principal of the matter for me, and if one of these parts fails in the future, I have the replacement already on hand. Overall, I'm very happy to have my vehicle running effectively, and appreciate the courtesy of the staff involved. I just wish there wasn't such a backlog of work orders, and that non-drive-able vehicles could be prioritized ahead of recall-type work. Also, improved communications within the shop seem to be an opportunity for improvement. read more

Cody Flynn, the salesperson was very much rude when I inquired on a 2016 Kia Soul. I wanted to know what he could do for me because I live pretty far from Enumclaw. It's upsetting that the salesman stereotype is true. It's like he didn't want to sell me a car at all. I would not recommend touching this dealership even if they had the car of your dreams. If they allow a salesperson like Cody Flynn to work there, imagine what other salespeople there are that will dismiss you with ease. read more

Greg McCauley had the 2 trucks we talked about over the phone out front ready to test drive. Almost forgot to mention that my wife was there, with our 2nd son, who was 2 weeks old, to sign paperwork. When I went in to get it service they asked if I bought it there and when I didn't they said it will be a month to get it looked at. The service writer Dixie should work in the warehouse away from customers. The Truck has 550 miles on it. And I can rent a car, Uber or call in sick to work for a moth. Let me tell you something about Enumclaw, and something about Fugate. Enumclaw, a little tucked-away town South-East of Seattle, is pretty much akin to the Village of the Damned. Total small-town mentality, and I wouldn't be surprised if there were massive conspiracies running rampant amongst the populace of people that have lived there their entire lives. I grew up in that town. Unfortunately. I went to school in that town. Unfortunately. And even more unfortunate, my family had the experience with the big ol' company of Fugate Ford. They bought a 2004 Ford Focus. Tan. Had a kickin' sound system for factory speakers. My parents made sure it got it's oil changed on a schedule, and they kept it maintained perfectly. Well, here's a funny little story. On Christmas night, we had a house fire. That sucked. A lot. Fast forward the next week, I'm in Chicago on a schedule trip out there, after living out of a hotel in town. I call up my folks and I hear "this is a bad time to call, the car is on fire". Of COURSE, I think this is a joke. No f'ing joke. The 2004 Contour, whilst NOT EVEN RUNNING, burst into flames in the parking lot of the local post office. Oddly, IRONICALLY, funnily, NOT hilariously enough, the car had JUST been serviced by Fugate Ford just recently. The ignition had had some problems and that was fixed, however after it had been 'fixed', my mother noticed the engine was making funny clunky sounds. So, there you have it, a $5000 vehicle burst into flames unexplicably. Toast. Fugate claimed absolutely NO responsibility for this whatsoever, even though the car was running perfectly fine prior to their "service". Fast forward a bit later, we tried to get them to cover the damage to the car (well, loss of the car), and it was basically a "whatever" with their response. Seriously, don't go to these guys. Ever. These guys are awesome! Needed to get an oil change ASAP and they fit me in the very next morning after I called for an appointment. I only had to waited the quoted time of an hour and a half which included the oil change and a car wash for only $56. (Other places in the Buckley/Bonney Lake area were upwards of $75, what a racket!) I was informed during this time that I needed new tires which they unfortunately did not have but they were able to give me all the info I needed to find new ones. My husband had been in contact with Shayne for a few days. He really wanted this particular truck and we were willing to make the drive for it (we live in Lynnwood). We set up an appointment for 2:30pm with Shayne. Around 2pm while driving on I-90, one of our car tires had a blow out. We contacted Shayne and said we had an issue come up and would be there around 5:30. Well the tow company our roadside assistance contacted never showed up or answered our calls. We ended up contacting another company and had it towed to the tire place to get a replacement. By the time that was done, it was 5:30. We were still about an hour out and we called Shayne hoping he would still be there by the time we got in. He said he would and we headed there. We got in at 6:20pm. They close at 7pm ‍. Shayne was still willing to stay late even though his family was waiting for him. Luckily, it was pretty straightforward because we already had financing approved. We left with our new truck at 8:30pm. We cannot say thank you enough for everyone that stayed late to help us. It was quite the adventure! read more

We recently purchased a used 2011Kia Sorrento (AWD) from Fugate Ford. Initially We very happy with the vehicle. This vehicle was exactly what we had been looking for well over a year. We did however pay more than expected and still were pleased with vehicle. Less than 3 months later the engine went bad. Even though it was maintained well. No fluid issues or negligence on our part. We contacted The sales person who sold us the vehicle and he stated he would address our concerns upon his return to work. He never followed through. (At all). We did not expect a replacement. Although we did expect some follow through and possibly partial compensation or some type of help with service or cost. This review is for the service center at Fugate Ford. We full time travel and were visiting the area when our truck broke down on top of Mt. Rainer. We had to have a tow truck to pick it up in Paradise. I called all the Ford dealerships with in 2 hours of the park in every direction to see who could take a loot at it. Everyone said it would be anywhere from a week to two weeks before it could be seen! Fugate was the only dealership that said "we are booked full with appointments, but we understand your situation and will get you in ASAP!" The service Manager Cary even meet me back at the dealership after they were closed so the tow truck could drop off my truck, and even helped me out with a loaner vehicle. Had my truck fixed and back to me within 24 hours! Now that my friends is CUSTOMER SERVICE! Something you don't get to many places these days. Took my truck out for a 1 o'clock appt. for a lube oil and filter. There was road construction going on ,on the main road leading into Enumclaw and a long detour to get around it, which made me 10 minutes late for my appt. Instead of working with me they told me I would have to reschedule my appt and come back on another day. As I live in Kent this was a huge inconvenience. This will be the last time Fugate costs me time and money in their service department. In 2023 when I buy my next new truck Fugate will not be on my list of places to shop. read more
