The fair price for the 2016 Acura RDX with tech package & Acura watch package with 74,000 miles was showing me $18,500 was the highest price in the range from a dealer. This is why i asked for a $1,500 discount. Tahir the sales person said that Kelley Blue Book doesn't know that market. Kelley Blue Book was founded in 1926 and has been an industry standard to protect consumers and help them get a fair price on vehicles. Duffy's business model must be focused on preying on the credit challenged customer and getting them into financing a vehicle at above market rates. Your response to my review never addressed the nearly $1,400 accessory charge that was tacked on to my price estimate i posted. Funny how this charge appeared on my quote when we never talk about any accessories. This was your way of price gauging me since i asked for a lower price. I mean how dare a customer come into Duffy's and try to negotiate a lower price. Your narcissistic response confirms my review of what a douche bag used car salesperson you are. I do want to thank you for treating me with disrespect which lead me to leave your establishment. My daughter and I purchased a 2017 RDX top of the line advanced package with every possible feature, which is one model above the one I was look at buying from you. one owner vehicle with immaculate service record. We purchased it from Audi of Bellevue who listed it at the lower end on the KBB price. I did not try to negotiate a better deal because I already knew they were giving me a fair price. We ended up paying over $5,000 less than Duffy's with no hassles and all of the salespeople were very friendly. In the end I would never recommend anyone purchase a vehicle from Duffy's or Brandon Rheil, They are very dishonest and don't care about their customers. Do your research, there are better deals out there and much better people to buy a car from.

We strongly recommend that anyone considering a purchase from this dealership take the time to read customer reviews carefully. What we experienced aligns with many of the unfortunate concerns already shared by others. Same pattern of behavior . We also attempted to address these issues directly with their upper management by emailing the General Manager Austin Dinsmore. That message received no response on any concerns we had with the process from start to finish. Which speaks volumes about the dealership's approach to customer concerns and post‑sale accountability. Our in‑person interactions with staff reflected the same pattern: dismissive communication, a lack of basic customer service, and no willingness to engage in respectful, solution‑oriented dialogue. Outside of Jesse in the service department all other interaction had from sales, finance department and direct service manager was aggressive and lacked basic customer service standards. Key Issues We Encountered- 1.Major mechanical failure within 48 hours of purchase. The Jeep developed a significant engine issue almost immediately, despite being driven for less than four total hours since purchase. Dual head gasket replacement upper oil pan reseal. Auxiliary and main battery replacement. 2.Dismissive communication. Our concerns were treated as an inconvenience rather than a legitimate safety and reliability issue. There was no acknowledgment of how this situation impacted our family. Or options to roll back the loan to put a customer in a reliable, safe vehicle. Not once did anyone individual raise any concerns on our behalf. Would we have been okay with a different vehicle? Would we have been willing to pay more for a more reliable vehicle with no underline mechanical issues which caused the vehicle to significantly depreciate. 3.Lack of transparency about repairs. The initial repair was completed without any explanation of what failed, what was repaired before being signed off on by the customer, or whether OEM parts were used. They treated the vehicle as though it was held hostage and still theirs. 4.No post‑repair guidance. After a dual head‑gasket replacement--a major engine repair--no one provided follow‑up instructions or information about what to expect. 5 A second repair was needed due to poor attention to detail. The vehicle threw new codes within 24 hours of being returned to us, requiring another service appointment. They were specifically asked to not do any repairs until we were informed and signed off on them. They ignored this request and made so called repairs. 6.Inconsistent and inaccurate communication. Different staff members gave conflicting information throughout the process. 7.Attempt to limit our consumer rights. When we raised concerns in writing, the dealership asked us to sign a "Goodwill Service" agreement that would have limited their liability and restricted our rights under Washington State's Implied Warranty of Merchantability. This felt less like support and more like an attempt to silence legitimate concerns. This was done after the fact. When the vehicle was retrieved on the so called second repair. And backed dated to the initial mechanical failure less then 48 hours after the purchase. 8. When the customer's refused to sign this last minute attempt to silence them under significant distress. We were told no further repairs or concerns would be addressed on their behalf . Mind you they back their so called repairs with a 12,000 mile 12 month policy which they could not provide us with or clearly articulate where that was at . Or simply put that in writing on the " GOODWILL AGREEMENT " which they wish for us to sign with no recourse. We hope our experience sheds some light for future customers.

After visiting and trying to purchase a vehicle at well known name dealerships I found the best deal at Del Toro. Date: May 19, 2022. (sold my car here)…read more This place was one of the two businesses listed in the Kelley Blue Book's "Instant Cash Offer" when I was looking to quickly sell my car. I had an offer from CarMax already, and since it's right across the street, it's no-harm, no-foul if this business didn't have the chops to compete. Well, they did; I got $2,000 USD more from here than I did at CarMax (which was already $4,000 USD higher than Vroom, $5,000 higher than Carvana, and $3,500 USD higher than Shift), in the same day, after arriving at 3:45pm, getting all of the paperwork signed, and getting my certified check in-hand by 4:20pm (nice). The business owner and check signers sit over in the Younker Nissan office down the street, and according to the sales staff, go home around 4pm, so make sure you arrive around 3pm to properly get your vehicle tested by their sales staff. If the business owner goes home (they can single-sign a business check), then two designated check signers have to sign off for the check to be considered valid; I deposited the check on a Friday, and by Saturday it cleared, so it's legit (They seem to bank through KeyBank, for what it's worth). Also - one thing I will say - they'll lowball the price you get from the Kelley Blue Book (KBB) offer. They initially offered me $3k less than what KBB's "instant cash offer" was (and only $500 more than CarMax), so make sure you know exactly what your car is worth. I still somehow gave them a $1500 discount from the instant cash offer that KBB had given me, but I was able to get them to pay me what I believed the car was worth at the time, and go home with more than what I would have gotten by going to CarMax. Basically: if you want less of a hassle, just go to CarMax. If you go here, DO NOT TELL THEM what your offers are, since they only seem to want to profit as much as they can off of you (and it's really slimy that they do - they sold my car for which is $8k more than I sold it to them for, so why do they care about a measly $1500?) If you sell your car here, you have to still file a "Bill of Sale" online on the Washington State Department of Licensing (WSDOL) website. If you already registered your car through License eXpress, then you can pay the fee online and report the sale that way. Also remember to de-register your car on the GoodToGo! Website (if you use a toll pass), as well as remove your car from any apps that reference your old plates (such as the PayByPhone app, the Parking Kitty app, or ChargePoint / EVGo).

Anyone who has looked for these knows they go for well over KBB on account of their scarcity vs popularity. When my current vehicle gave up the ghost in the middle of a move (to another county, no less), I thought I was screwed. Daniel took my credit application that I submitted online and made it work with the resources I had available. I drove down from Seattle, took the Element he had for a spin (a 2003 with only 96k miles!), and around an hour later, I was walking out with a shiny new car loan (and an Element we named Idris). I can count on one finger the number of positive used car buying experiences I've had, including this one. No condescension, no pressure, and when I failed to haggle, he still managed to finesse the numbers enough to make sure my financing would get approved. He was even nice enough to fill it up, since it was running low on gas and we were headed back to Seattle, and hooked us up with a place for a replacement battery for my current vehicle so it would make it home, too. I definitely recommend that anyone in need of a true no-hassle experience come here. Sure, it was a bit of a trek from the big city (and the fire on Hwy 167 didn't help), but it was absolutely worth it for the great experience and a great car.

When we got the truck home, we took it to a local car shop to have it thoroughly checked out. The shocks were shot, and all the fluids were as bad as bad can get. New shocks and all the fluids being replaced plus a general checkup on the truck costs us around $1600.00. We were told by a mechanic at Car Guys that the shocks were fine even though they were all rusted on the outside. What I'm trying to say is that one needs to make sure the vehicle you're interested in buying is thoroughly checked out before you buy. There are no warranties at Car Guys so once you sign all the paperwork and drive off the lot, you're on your own. One thought is bringing a mechanic if you're not a mechanic or take the car/truck to a mechanic while out test driving. Eddie was a very nice person and likeable. Cory seemed nice but was very busy. The cars and trucks are used and most likely picked up at auctions or trades. We learned our lesson because we did not have the truck fully checked out before we bought it. Would we buy from them again? Yes, but we would have the vehicle thoroughly checked out first. Prices seemed pretty good for cars and trucks at Car Guys. Again, check the car/truck out thoroughly before you buy.
