Stopped in at your Auburn division to rent a car, Rented last June (2025) great experience, not so today! I walked out and will never be back. The jerk was rude, couldn't care less. I wanted to rent a car for next week, 3+days, said he didn't honor any discounts (15%) or military, told me I have to call a 800 number. I said this is Enterprise and you advertise this on your ads. He again stated no. That's when I walked out and told him I will go elsewhere. Needless to say, you lost a good paying customer! read more

Christopher Graham set us up with exactly what we needed - a seven passenger minivan in perfect condition to drive two adults and five children down the East Coast on vacation. Insurance rental but of course they have to put a hold on my credit card....not a big deal. Charging a service fee of more than double what the actual toll charges on the Mass Pike are - ridiculous. Might be more acceptable if the car they rented me would have had the windows cleaned anytime in the past year, and if the car that you aren't allowed to smoke in didn't smell like an ashtray. read more

I've rented multiple cars from Enterprise with zero issues, until my last rental. I had my rental over a month. I was not told that after a month, you need to sign another contract and pay ANOTHER $300 security deposit. I asked why they didn't tell me, and they said, "Usually people don't rent for over a month..." OKAY SO THAT'S MY PROBLEM? I had the car for 48 days before being told I had to come sign a new one. I was told I would not get my security deposit back for the first month because I was late. That is not my fault I was late. I call every week to pay for the rental and they did not tell me anything until 18 days OVER my new contract. Then, I sign a new contract, get charged another $300, was told if I return the car in a week, I'll get my full deposit back. I return the car and now I'm being accused of smoking in it. I am a non-smoker. I never once smoked in the car. So I got charged another $75 for detailing for something I never did. I brought the car back SPOTLESS. The manager here is rude and arrogant, not even a smile, just straight attitude every time I dealt with him. I've never had an issue besides with this location and this manager. I will never again rent from them and I suggest you don't either, the one on Shrewsbury St, if you don't want to get charged or lose your security deposit for things you didn't do!! read more

How can you be comfortable with stealing from people when YOU made an error on the return date? Disgusting.

For those of us who earn a living traveling around in our cars (raise your hands sales reps, admissions officers, and merchandisers!) one of the worst things that can happen is to get stuck hours from home due to car problems. Fortunately, the organization I work for has a business account with Enterprise so when the "worst thing" happened to me last week while in Worcester, I was able to quickly and easily get a rental car and not miss one appointment while scheduling AAA to tow my broken car home. My 5-star rating isn't so much for the clean, well-running car or the ease in renting it but for the excellent customer service I received from Scott and Kevin when it came to having to return the car. As I live/work several hours away from Worcester, this was no easy task - but their professionalism and willingness to come up with a solution was appreciated (and impressive). This illustrates to me that not only does this office care about their individual customers but that they also value long-standing business customers like the organization I work for. If you're in the Worcester area and need to rent a car, or are looking to cut travel costs by establishing a business account, you won't be disappointed with this office. I rented a car from this company from June 18th thorough the 23rd, 2017, and I was very pleased with their service and the vehicle. The car was in excellent condition, clean and had only one small nick by the door handle that the attendant duly noted in the paperwork. I was especially pleased with the service - in particular Benjamin, the Management Assistant - who was extremely helpful with my rental. Due to problems with a different car rental company (Budget), we needed a car at the last minute. This Enterprise rental company picked us up and got us into a car quickly so we didn't lose any valuable vacation time. I highly recommend them. read more

My family and I have had multiple issues with this division. Cars that have come from the Belmont Worcester division have scratched, sometimes have many dings on the car, the inside of the cars having other people's items left inside before giving it to another customer. Even one time I have had Worcester Belmont Enterprise try to give me and a car that had the window frame cracked. My family and I had to take off hours from work to meet the pick up deadline and the driver was still late. My request to Enterprise regardless of the region the customer may live please let the customer pick which location he or she would like to be picked up from or right to select which location to go to. read more

This was probably one of the worst rental car experiences I've ever had, (and I travel A LOT and rent cars all the time). I will NEVER EVER rent from Enterprise again. On the day after Christmas I went to get a car that I was driving straight to my girlfriends house in New York. The day I picked it up was a rainy, sleeting day so when I got there, the gentleman rushed me around the car to examine and said there's no damage to the car, gave me keys, got me in and sent me on my way. I literally stopped for five min at my mothers house to grab my suitcase and drove straight to New York besides stopping once at a gas station where I did not leave my car besides getting gas. I then drove it straight to my girlfriends house and parked in her driveway for two days until I had to return the car. When I returned the car in New York they noticed that the entire front grill of the car was cracked. They made me sign something to say that I didn't cause the damage and never heard anything back from it. Then three weeks later I get a bill from Enterprise saying that I'm responsible for this damage. First of all, I wasn't even around any other cars for anyone to back up into me, nor did I hit anything. I am not a dishonest person and if this was my fault I would have had no problem taking care of it. I immediately called Enterprise and they told me because the investigation had already been done there was nothing that they could do. I complained to a manager that I had not even been notified that an investigation was happening and he said there was nothing more he could do besides me contacting my insurance company to file a claim and have them do an investigation. I did so and unfortunately the insurance company was not able to get any further as Enterprise was claiming that this was my fault. I had to pay the insurance claim. This was the worst case of gross negligence from a car rental place that I've ever experienced. Because someone else didn't do their job and report the incident of the grill being cracked when another person returned it, I am now responsible for someone else's mess up. I reluctantly had to have my insurance company pay for this claim but I will never ever rent from this company ever again. They are dishonest, unprofessional and negligent. The fact that I was run around the car because of bad weather not allowing me to fully examine the car, which obviously I will now do every time I rent a car, was absurd. I feel like the guy who rented me the car was getting one over my head bc HE didn't do his job the first time. (Oh let me mention that he had given me an upgrade that day giving me this car. Which is another reason I feel like they were trying to pull in over my head and gave me the car to take responsibility for.) . Just be aware that enterprise is an awful company that will not listen to your claims and charge you with some thing that you did not do. read more

I am satisfied with the representative who has served me but who is next to him made fun of me as I was asking too many questions, asked him only three questions. i don't remember both their names but i feel like I am insulted, I had no choice to go with them as it was Sunday. I am very satisfied with the quality of cars they have available and that they are always clean. I use my corporate account and always get an awesome rental rate. Better than my AAA membership discount. Plus they have so many locations which is so convenient. I was disappointed on my last rental the deposit jumped up to $250.00. Customers with good credit should not have to put such a high deposit for their rentals. Overall I prefer Enterprise over anyone else!!!!! read more

I think Enterprise needs to correct their policy of taking reservations without asking for the type of vehicle the customer wants. This happened to me when my body shop reserved a car for me but did not specify that I needed a small car, not the humongous "funeral hearse" that was the only thing available to me when I showed up. It took 1 1/2 hours while Enterprise called around for a small car, then I was driven to this other location, etc. etc...before I finally drove off in the small car. In the end, when i returned the car early, Kevin, the manager, did the unexpected by doing an excellent customer service "recovery," which made me feel less annoyed about the enormous amount of time and energy extended to secure the small car I had needed. read more

I moved to California three years ago, and visit my family in Shrewsbury once or twice a year. Enterprise was recommended to me by a friend and every time I need a car in the area I go to them. It has the professional efficiency of a big name company with a staff that feels, and makes me feel, like family. After only one visit the employees remembered me and my boyfriend. They are always incredibly accommodating and ready with recommendations based on our length of travel and plans. They're also flexible within reason, which is absolutely crucial when your planning any trip, but especially one that revolves around a family visit and the often unpredictable New England weather. Their prices are reasonable and I never feel like they're trying to make a sale or loading me up with unnecessary costly add-ons. It's just good honest people, and they've been integral to making my time on the east coast easy, stress free, and affordable. I will continue to rent here every time! read more

Rental agent took advantage on my son who was just supposed to pick up the car that our insurance reserved for him. After all the fees they've put on his rental, it's ended up more than $55/day for a small Ford Fusion. The agent confused and pressured him to sign without given him any copy of what he had signed for. It was a very sneaky and dishonest sell tactic to use for young man who has never deal with rental car agent before. read more
