This location seldom has clean, undamaged, or nice vehicles, and the staff is rude. On my first attempt to rent from this location, I made a reservation for a truck. When I arrived I was told that they had none, but did have a van... Well the van was nasty, not dirty, nasty. It smelled and the carpet was torn up. I refused it and went to the North 45 Enterprise location. A great choice! On my second attempt, I reserved a full size SUV for an 1,600 mile trip. I went to pick the SUV up just before they closed, on the night before I left. They didn't have a full size SUV, but did have a Nissan Rouge.... BTW, I'm 6'5". Also I had to put air in all four tires, three times. Today's attempt, I reserved a full size pickup. When I arrived they had a truck, a dirty truck with tape on the cab where they had replaced the windshield sometime in the past. The tape had been washed over several times and literally could not be removed. When I asked the rep why the truck was dirty, and why was the leftover tape still on, he became full of attitude. I told him that $700 for five days rental on a dirty truck l, that was below presentable, was ridiculous,he had more attitude. I ended up at Enterprise on 45 North. Always a good selection of clean cars. Courteous and fast service. I highly recommend staying away from the Enterprise on Louetta and crossing 45, you'll be much more satisfied. read more

However, my experience took a turn for the worse when I interacted with a rental representative named Dave during the vehicle walkaround and checkout process. Dave was extremely rude and unprofessional--the kind of attitude that makes you wonder why someone with such poor customer service skills is in a customer-facing role. He was overly aggressive in pushing insurance and add-ons, and his tone throughout the interaction was dismissive and unfriendly. When I mentioned I wanted to prepay for gas, he abruptly told me about a $400 security deposit. I politely declined and told him to cancel the rental altogether because the experience had already gone downhill. To make things worse, when I brought up that I'm a Platinum Member, Dave bluntly told me it "means nothing." I was honestly shocked--I've rented from Enterprise many times, and this was the first time I felt completely disrespected. Enterprise, if you value customer loyalty, I highly suggest retraining Dave on basic customer service and how to treat members with courtesy and respect. I have insurance with USAA and they put me with Enterprise and sent me to the Louetta RD location because it was closer to my house supposedly. I was scheduled to have a full size vehicle the first go around and arrived on time and they put me into a Toyota Corolla. I am 6'2" 275 pounds and disabled veteran with bad knees, ankles, and back. I was calm the first time as the staff was nice. I called the location probably 5 times afterwards and no one there ever answers the phone morning, afternoon, or evening. If you don't believe me switch screens and call the number right now just for fun and you will sit on hold for 30 mins. Remind you they can just be sitting in there hanging out, but refuse to take the call. Guess the only customers that are important are the ones in the store ready to swipe. So after having the vehicle for over a week, I decided since I wasn't going to drive it anyway, I might as well save USAA some money and return the car as the reason for getting the vehicle was to save on gas as me and my wife both have a large SUV and large pick up truck. Once I got there I spoke with the employee and told them I wasn't happy because I'm way too big for a small car like that. This was around Tuesday 10/4/22. So I got a call from them saying they would have me a full size car available on Thursday 10/06/22. I have my second phone and recorded the entire conversation and they promised me they would have me a full size vehicle reserved. Well they called me today at 3:30 and said I was supposed to pick up the car at 3pm. Per our recorded conversation they said, Mr. Murrel we will have your full size vehicle ready to pick up Thursday evening. Never gave me a time. Well I was just getting off work and told them I can be there around 4:30. I got there at 4:30 along with my wife after fighting traffic only to be told they have another Toyota Corolla available for me. They said, "oh we had your full size vehicle ready, but since you were late we gave it away to someone else". Wow really dude!!! Then they tried to up sale me on a SUV. I will never do business with enterprise ever again since it's just so easy to screw one customer over to help the first person with a credit card ready to swipe. When I clearly explained my reasons as to why I needed a full size vehicle. My wife drives a little over a hour back and forth to work every day we don't need another SUV drinking up gas. We need a vehicle that I can fit into while our vehicle is being fixed and that will save us money on gas. It probably won't matter much, but I'm going to file a complaint with USAA as well letting them know I'm highly upset with services I have received from enterprise. read more

I want be going back to enterprise again. When I picked the car up. It had 3/4 of a tank of gas in it. When it should have been on full. When I returned the vehicle i filled it completely up. Since I was late on returning the vehicle by 30 minute. Enterprise charged me for another full day. and on top of that they also charge me another fee on top of that. Which it was a damaged wavier fee. I do not think that is right to charge for another day on the damaged waiver. I understand the additional 1 day car rental that was charged to me. Which I have no complaints about part of the rental agreemen. But charging me another day on the damaged waiver waiver was not acceptable. And they should have all vehicles completely fill up. Because who ever rented the vehicle before me that returned it with 3/4 full of fuel. Was charged at a very hefty gas price. I will not be doing business with them again. read more

Unfortunately, I have to retract my previous rating regarding this company. I recently received a bogus letter from their damage recovery unit indicating there was damage to the vehicle when I returned it. The truth is this vehicle already had scrapes and small dents that I pointed out. The agent said yes we are already aware of those. Therefore, we were in agreement. So, 30 days after I turned in the vehicle and mind you an agent and I did a drop off walk around the vehicle and she said we're good, I received a bill for damages nearly $2,000. I am sadly disappointed with this company and will not seek their business again. My message to future renters who seek this business is to video record your rental car before and after, list ALL damages on the rental agreement page that you see, and make sure to get an agent to sign off your clearance walk through once you return the rental. #damagerecoveryscams read more

Everything had been fine until I needed to confirm information with them and have been calling this location during their open hours for 2 days now and can never get thru ! Their phone system just rolls me to their automated call waiting--and a real human employee NEVER picks up the call--for 2 days now! I have waited in this phone queue for up to 15 minutes at a time, multiple times, for 2 days now and no human ever picks up and there are no other phone numbers or emails that I can find for them to speak to a real employee. I give up! My only option now is just to physically go to this location and return the vehicle early in person as I can't get anyone to answer their phone line to help me. read more

I have rented from Enterprise many times. I moved and this is the first time I have rented from this Enterprise. I have had nothing but problems. They processed my debit card as a credit card. They said I could leave the car at the repair place so I did and I informed them where I left it. They did not make a note of me calling and letting them know that. As a result, I was overcharged and my account became overdrawn. When I called to deal with this, I received an attitude from the branch manager until I started crying from frustration. Then his voice changed and I called him on it. I told him that he should not give me an attitude and then when I started crying be nice to me. I told him that he should be nice to me whether I cry or not. Throughout this whole process, it seemed like they were trying to make excuses and try to act like things I did contributed to this or the bank or accounting, etc. The branch manager also said that he doesn't know what else he can tell me and I understand that. I just didn't appreciate his tone so I hung up on him. Also, the corporate manager has not called me yet as I requested yesterday. I keep asking the branch manager why and he just keeps saying he has other responsibilities. I know that but I feel like this is a bit urgent as my account is overdrawn. I spoke with Donald Owens in accounting and he was very helpful and did not give me an attitude. He explained things calmly. I know John Michael does not work in accounting but I think the customer service experience as well as other experiences at this branch were very poor. I do not plan on using Enterprise again. My car has to have quite a bit of work done on it in the near future and I will use someone else for my rental car needs. read more

Terrible company. I am a business traveler for 30 years and the customer service is the worst I have seen at rental companies. One star is not low enough. Wife had a reservation and they refused to honor it at that location, even though they had cars. No offer to loon at other locations or offer any help. This was at the Hooks Airport location in Texas. Make your life easier and avoid these guys. They are usually expensive and rude to begin with but had normally honored the reservations. They dont rent electric cars here only in California. but was stonewalled twice when I attempted to rent using a Debit card. BTW they don't accept Cash. I rented from Enterprise because they are hooked into my car insurance. They had car pick-up at the place where I was getting the repairs done. The first car they gave me was extremely small I drive a Jeep Cherokee so this car was not right for me. I explained the agent that I have disabilities that make it difficult for me to get in and out of a tiny car. I showed her my blue handicap tag. I asked her for something bigger. She said I could have an SUV across the lot but I would have to pay part of it myself. I asked how much and she said no more than $10. I said I couldn't afford that and she did some math on her phone and quoted me $5 and change. I'm a retired teacher and I told her I couldn't afford that. So I took the tiny car. After a few days I was sore from climbing in and out of it so I called Enterprise and told them my issue and they said come on in we will give you another car. They didn't bother to tell me that the body shop/Enterprise was closed on Saturday but I did eventually find them down the road a ways after at least two phone calls with awful directions. Then they gave me a slightly bigger car that was still low to the ground and told me a bigger car was not available. So I drove that car until Wednesday when it went haywire at Wal-Mart and I had to drive it back to the store with it beeping all the way. The guy came out and said my back door wasn't shut. I explained I had opened all the doors and closed them and he just mumbled something and walked back into the office I also tried to tell him that the trunk was opening at odd times, he wasn't interested. I considered returning the car and using rideshare which my insurance also pays for but I decided to check the repair shop since it was right down the street. When I got there my car was being readied. So I was able to leave the rental there. read more

Before 8:30 am today as I'm leaving for work the car was towed before I could pay the amount needed . Not only was my phone , my fiancé's phone and sisters phone was BLOWN UP .. They were calling off private numbers . Very unprofessional more or so like a Nazi with her Job . Probably the worst enterprise location I have ever been to! Will not return here. First, I reserved an economy car on Friday night close to midnight online for Saturday through Tuesday. The next morning they told me since it was close to midnight they didn't have any cars because the inventory doesn't updated until they open. Well, after 10am I went online and made another reservation, and then asked why was I able to make another reservation if it says they have some. They then said only SUV's were available but I would be charged an extra $40 a day. I told them it wasn't my fault they didn't have any available and they would have to honor my quote. They told me no they don't have to and hung up. I called the main reservation number and they agreed with me and told me a regional manager would be calling soon. This was all before 11am. At 1pm I was still waiting and decided to rent from the airport location. As of Tuesday I have still not received a call from the manager. I will NEVER rent from this location or any Enterprise EVER again. I had to get a rental due to my car being in the shop. When I went to pick up my rental they pulled up the wrong information to begin with and tried telling me that I owed $350 when I just spoke to my insurance company and they said it would only be $50. We went back and forth until they finally realized they brought up the wrong information. Due to my vehicle being in the shop, some of the parts took longer to come in since they had to be ordered. When my car was finally done the repair shop called and informed me that we could leave the rental there and they could call enterprise to have them pick it up from there on Monday since they are closed on the weekends. We only have one vehicle that we can use that allows us to take our baby in it. So my husband went to pick up our vehicle on Saturday and left the rental there as we were informed that we could do. So I looked at my bank account today, Nov. 12, and realized that they charged me $95.90. Supposedly I was charged because there was an extension on the rental that they weren't aware of when the repair shop informed them that the vehicle still wasn't ready. Then on top of that they said that we left it at some random repair shop when I informed Enterprise when I picked up the rental on where my vehicle was getting fixed at. They also said that since I didn't return it back to the original location that I was getting a charge for that as well. We were informed that we didn't have to return the car back that it could be picked up Monday. I will never be using their service again!! read more

Mr Franklin and his location should be out of business! Apparently verbally abusing women, towing rental cars and stealing private property is in his nature! He is a CROOK!! My repair shop even told Mr Franklin that they would pay the balance of my rental but the night before I got my car back they towed the rental with my laptop in it which is now gone! Enterprise/Mr Franklin STOLE my laptop and they have the nerve to send me letters to pay the balance when they have a $2000 laptop that Mr Franklin REFUSES to return to me?!?! Oh and did I mention before that they charge my credit card UNAUTHORIZED and Mr Franklin not only verbally harassed/abused me not once but TWICE!! Once in front of my husband and once in front of my children! I will NEVER do business with Enterprise and I will make sure everyone knows what a crooked company they are! I have rented cars from this location several times. The staff is always friendly and helpful. This week I had exceptional service from Billy and the rest of the staff. I reserved a car at the last minute and although they didn't have a car when I got there, they worked quickly to get me into a car in a reasonable amount of time. I am glad to have a location so close to home especially one with such good service. I do agree with a previous review that an after hours drop box would be a nice addition to their service. i called to exchange a vehicle that was given to me by a different enterprise location (due to issues with multiple locations i tried to reserve at not having vehicles when i showed to pick it up). whoever answered the phone was very rude to me, saying he had his own customers to take care of when i asked if he didn't mind calling me back if any cars became available, then telling me to call back the branch where i had picked up my faulty vehicle from (even though i already had and they had directed me to pick up from the branch closest to my house). after i reiterated this to him he told me his job was to get *his* customers into cars so he wouldn't call me back if one became available then proceeded to hang up on me. i have this car booked for 10 days, i would consider that making me an enterprise customer? but since i didn't book from this location because THEY DIDN'T HAVE VEHICLES WHEN I NEEDED ONE SO I HAD TO DRIVE 45 MINUTES DOWNTOWN that doesn't make me one of *his* customers. really pitiful customer service. read more

I just rented a vehicle from this location and it was the worst experience. For my job, I rent about 50 rental cars a year and always use Enterprise. I will find it very hard to ever rent from them again based on this location's horrible customer service. They do not have a drop box for late returns. I called the main Enterprise number and they told me to leave the keys in the car and lock it. The Enterprise Louetta location called on the following business day and told me they did not have a spare set and would charge me for a tow and a complete re-keying process. When I asked for the cost I was told she didn't know but would charge my credit cardand that is how I would find out. To resolve the issue I had to call the main customer service line, since the branch wouldn't answer the phone! The issue was resolved by calling a locksmith and everything is now fixed. Based on the experience and AWFUL customer servicice I will never be renting from Enterprise again! STAY AWAY!!! read more

I wanted someone to know how awful the customer service is at this branch! My spouse and I were at a red light yesterday, and another driver lost control of his car and smashed into our car. We were contacted by their insurance carrier, and were set up with a rental while they made repairs to our car. We were told that we could go and pick up our rental at our convenience anytime on 6/4. On 6/4, I received a phone call about 11am from the local Enterprise branch stating that I could only come in between 3-6pm that day to pick up a car. I explained to them that I really needed the car earlier as I had a meeting scheduled at work at 3pm. They said they would put me on some kind of waiting list in case someone returned a vehicle early. How can you have a car rental business if you don't have cars available to rent? I could maybe understand if this was a weekend, but on a Wednesday? So, I rearranged my work schedule and found a ride to work and called back to ask if Enterprise could just come pick me up after my meeting at 5pm. I work 1.3 miles away from their location, so they said they could take care of that. I went to work assuming everything was fine. At 5:20 nobody had called me or come to pick me up, so I called the branch and asked if someone was on their way. They said that their driver was out, but he would be by to pick me up shortly. At 6pm I received a call on my work number from the branch. They said they couldn't remember which CVS I worked at and that my cell phone number was not working (even though they had confirmed it with me, and even called me on it that morning!) At 6:20 someone finally came by to get me. The guy pulled up in front of my business and yelled out the window of the car, " are you waiting for Enterprise?" I said yes and got in the car. He never said he was sorry about keeping me waiting for 1 1/2 hours, or introduced himself, or even checked who I was. I doubt he even knew that much. He was completely silent the whole way to the branch. When we got there, I got out of the car, eager to get away from him. I walked into the branch hoping someone in customer service would actually be able to help me. I was not that lucky. The driver walked behind the counter and had to find my reservation and paperwork. He said nothing more to me than, "I need to see your ID," and , "I need a credit card to put a $50 hold on." (which I was not told about ahead of time by the way) There was a gentleman who came in after me that was obviously turning in a car, and not 1 person acknowledged that he was even there! The customer looked quite annoyed as well. I do not know how this branch is still in business, or how you allow these people to ruin your brand name like they do. I have never been treated so poorly as I have today! Every single one of these employees needs to be retrained in customer service. read more
