Also, thought I was gonna have to extend the rental. I could do that online, which is so convenient. I was a little late getting there but they called to check right as I was pulling up. Check in was easy, papers signed and my car was ready. I waited about 30 mins but they were working hard and it was another two sets of customers in the line. I rented a Toyota Camry and it was sufficient for getting around while my car was in the shop. They washed and cleaned the car while I waited and encouraged me to check it out to make sure no scratches. We returned the car after a week and this was a great experience.

I flew in from College Station (my brother is a pilot) & when I returned home my car was totaled due to flooding. I was right in the middle of moving & all of the sudden I have no car! I rented one through my insurance company & returned it to the Enterprise located on FM 529. They were really nice & easy to work with. Fast forward a few weeks & I still haven't replaced my car. My son was graduating from TAMU & I needed to rent a car. I reserved one online & they reached out to me by phone making sure the car that was available was ok. I needed a mid size car & it was perfect. There were a few issues with the vehicle, but the folks at this location really took excellent care of me. I'm not sure when I'll replace my car, but I do know that I'll return Enterprise until I do.

This is a 20 minute drive for me but the Yelp reviews on the 2 Avis locations closer to me were bad enough to scare me away. After all was said and done, the drive to this location was completely worth it. The customer service was extraordinary which is something that is hard to come by it seems. The gentleman who helped me was so straightforward and quick but he was also funny and nice. Clearly a really good guy. And if that wasn't enough, the car we rented was great. He gave us a free upgrade and the car was clean and comfortable. On top of that, the price was really great, a good $100 less than the major competitor. When I picked up and dropped off my car, only one person was working. While they were very friendly and did their best, they could easily become overloaded when multiple people show up. When I picked up my car, I waited ~20min for the two parties ahead of me, which is reasonable, but I could also drive 20 min away to another larger location in that time. Avis cars are typically cleaner and have lower mileage than other neighborhood rental agencies. Check to see if your car insurance covers rentals, as it's certainly more expensive if you get it from Avis.
