I was sure I'd already done a review, but then I realized I had only done one for the Bryan location. I was visiting Houston at the end of March. I flew in from College Station (my brother is a pilot) & when I returned home my car was totaled due to flooding. I was right in the middle of moving & all of the sudden I have no car! I rented one through my insurance company & returned it to the Enterprise located on FM 529. They were really nice & easy to work with. Fast forward a few weeks & I still haven't replaced my car. My son was graduating from TAMU & I needed to rent a car. I reserved one online & they reached out to me by phone making sure the car that was available was ok. I needed a mid size car & it was perfect. There were a few issues with the vehicle, but the folks at this location really took excellent care of me. I'm not sure when I'll replace my car, but I do know that I'll return Enterprise until I do. read more

15003 FM 529 #C Houston, Tx 77095 I have had to rent from Enterpise twice becuase they have a contract with my insurance company. These guys call and hound me about the car, wanting to know when I am returning it. The insurance company has a contact department just for the purpose and keeping the local stores in the loop. I received a nissan versa and it was dirty. In the back seat, it look liked someone puked and let it dry. Then, they are supposed to delete stored phone information from renters when the car gets returned and that did not get done. No one there commicates or take notes, so I get calls from different people about the same thing and then they threaten to charge my credit card. I know that when they are short on cars, they call clients to see when the cars are being returned, but this is rediculous and out of hand. They need to stop agreeing to new rentals if they don't have cars on hand to rent. read more

Talked to a lady on the phone while making my car reservation and was told i could use a debit card then when i got to the location to pick up the car i was told that they needed a major credit card because i was out of state. Lord help me. Been here so many times renting for my company, no issues. Today I'm here waiting for my rental since my car was stolen. Here I go. I do have a reservation since Monday and today they don't have any good cars. They provide me a cheap car all smelling cigar and all dented. I have to return as soon I leave the place. I was the first customer this morning when they open and still waiting here because they say they don't have any cars. Why another people walk in and get the cars ready to go? I have always used Enterprise for rental car needs. Even accidents.... Today was the last day I will be using enterprise. I had a 2016 Hyndai Sonota in below average conditions. The rep told me that it was in a previous accident before. I still took it anyways cause the car seemed decent enough, car was really bad. Then when i returned, they are accusing me that I dented the hood. Never in my entire rental history have I damaged a vehicle. DO NOT COME TO THIS BRANCH!!! OR USE ENTERPRISE AT ALL. They will scam you and try to blame you for stuff that they overlooked. Next time I will be recording a 30 min video of the entire car before i ever rent from here again. Worst experience ever... Im going to go to Hertz from now on even if they are more expensive. read more

My family had such a rough start on the day I went to this location. By the time I got to this facility, I was already on edge and anything would upset me. I almost lost it when they tried to give me a minivan. I know I went a bit too far so I walked away and let my husband take over. I rent from Enterprise and a sister company almost every week so I am used to the excellent service but when they tried to give me a minivan, that was it! I allowed my sense of entitlement take over me and am disappointed in myself. BUT this location's staff continued to be professional and still provide excellent service. read more

I rent from Enterprise quite frequently. Dustin and the little short lady are always awesome and accommodating whether I'm needing a ride from my residence or renting for a few days. Never had any major problems but the few times I had slight issues (little/no gas, dirt specs) they always fixed the problem with a smile. Customer service is always A+. Oh, and I always reserve at least a day in advance just to ensure they will have a car ready and I've never been disappointed. Check these guys out if you're in the area! read more

Enterprise Rent-A-Car - Car Rental Near Me - Houston, Texas

My car broke down and AAA membership provides a free rental car for 24 hours. I immediately went to the nearest Enterprise and was told they had no cars available. I asked for the number to the next closest, called them and explained I was looking for a one day rental through AAA. I was told a corolla and elantra were available. I went over to that location and said I had just called about a rental car through AAA. They now told me the only thing available was a truck. I told him I just called less than 10 mins ago and there were two other cars available. He said he didn't know who I talked to but the truck was the only thing available. I didn't have time to go anywhere else since I was late to work already so I told him to give me the truck. After doing paperwork and getting the car cleaned up he told me that I needed to pay out of my pocket for the extra charge for the truck. I refused to pay the extra charge since I had been told other cars were available and I could have gone somewhere if I had known that wasn't the case. He then said I could have a Hyundai forte without paying extra so I asked him to go ahead and give me that. Then spent another 10 mins on paperwork and waiting. After which I was told they did have an Elantra and wanted me to take that. I said fine. Then waited another 15 mins for clean up of the car. At this point I had been there for 45 minutes. The people there were nice enough and did apologize for the hassle in the end but I don't expect to spend an hour trying to rent a car for a day. I would not go back here to rent a car. read more

This is a complaint. I called this morning at 9:15 to request a pick up. The woman that answered the phone told me that I was scheduled between 12-12:30 pm. When I called after noon, a man informed me that I was not on the schedule to be picked-up. He seemed disinterested and said he would put me on the schedule and send a pick up when they have a driver. I booked the car to take my wife to a doctor's appointment because she cannot climb into my SUV. read more

I travel a lot for work and rent often. Mainly from the airport location but this is closer to my home. The very first time reserve online at this location, I show up and there is one employee scrambling to handle 3 customers, phone calls, and inquire other stores about obtaining vehicles. I booked a small eco car because I was taking a long road trip and didn't want to spend so much in gas using my own vehicle. Well the employee informs me that they don't have the car I reserved but instead an SUV. They made it seem like they were doing me a favor, but I reserved my car class for a reason. An hour later they finally have the vehicle "washed" and "ready" for me. We walk around the vehicle and it is still filthy from the outside, then we check the gas. THIS CAR IS LITERALLY ON E! The lady asks me would it be okay for me to take it like that because shes busy with the other customers. NOPE NOPE NOPE! I'd be glad to even make it to the gas station without being stranded. She finally gets a break in customers and then takes the car go refuel. TELL ME WHY SHE COMES BACK WITH SUBWAY??!! Are you kidding me. I'm waiting for my car and shes waiting on a meatball marinara? Never Ever Ever Ever again would I come back. 2nd time around was the same circus with different clowns. read more

I had rented a car from enterprise at a different location near my home. The enterprise car broke down/wouldn't start at Wal-mart while i was on lunch break at work which is about 30-40 mins away from my home. I called this location to come pick me up and to tow the broke down rental. They said it would be around 10-15 minutes and they will call me when they get there. I waited for 30 minutes and nothing. I tried calling the location again and phone lines became busy or unavailable . This happened for another 2-3 calls till I opted for road side assistance option. The CSR lady informed me the car couldn't be towed for another 14-16 hours and if there was any way for me to get back to work. I had to uber myself back to work, borrow a co-worker's car to get home and had to go back to the original enterprise I rented the car. They had to drive all the way to my work place area to tow the car and to get it fixed. I now have to drive my co-workers car back to the office and return it to her and have her drive me home. Waste of paying uber, a major inconvenience and most of all, my time wasted. I can replace everything but I can never get back the time these Enterprise employees wasted but their lack of professionalism. Their customer service is horrible and enterprise's commercial of "picking you up" is false advertisement. I was given a faulty car and stranded, with false confirmation of a pick up and assistance. I am now working on changing my company's preference for using enterprise as either main car rental provider. I'd rather pay a bit more than have my team stranded like I was today and to deal with the horrible service. read more

My experience here is HORRIBLE. If I could've rated it zero stars I would have. My car was totaled out so I was sent to Enterprise to pick up my rental. When I arrived the gentleman gave me a car that had previous damage. I pointed out the damage made sure he took pictures and document it correctly. When I bought a car from a dealership 3 weeks later I was told that I could return the rental to any enterprise location. Of course I went to the closest location to the car dealership. When I went to the other location they couldn't find the previous damage listed on my contract. I told them to pull out the pictures, they couldn't find the pictures either. Needless to say I contacted my lawyer and I he will be handling this. I cannot believe this souless company is trying to pin someone elses damage on me. As if I haven't been through enough with someone totaling my car. I'm not paying $750 deductible to my insurance to file the claim. It's not my damage. Besides that, it will make my insurance premium go up. I am going to reqest security camera footage of my pick up. I am reporting to the BBB and also the local news. This injustice and lack of integrity WILL NOT get swept under the rug! DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION!!! read more

I've rented at Enterprise before and in the same location, apparently their online reservation doesn't synchronized to the location I rented, because someone called that they didn't have a car, but will get one... they did after an hour. The woman that helped me was nice and friendly and good at stalling or distracting me from the long wait...Also it was the Christmas weekend and that could be the issue too... Reserved early at least 3 days or earlier. read more

I had a car accident about 11 AM, called my Insurance company and they set up the claim which included setting me up a reservation at this Enterprise location for a rental car. The insurance adjuster and tow truck came to the house, did their thing and were all done by 1 PM. Considering no one has a good day after an accident, my insurance company and everyone so far was making it much better and easy. Then I called this Enterprise location to find out when they could pick me up to get the rental. they told me at 3 PM. OK, prefect as I had explained to them I had to get the rental and then get to the dealership by the time they closed at 6 PM to sign paperwork as they couldn't start on my car until I had. 3:45 PM comes and no one has came or called. I had to then call them and was on hold multiple times. hung up on and then finally got the manager on the phone, Demetrius, and asked why has no one came and he said they were behind, I asked why they wouldn't call and tell people, and he said they don't have any staff. I again explained my dire time issue and their response was why didn't I go to the Enterprise at the dealer?! We had it set the way it was for a specific reason, so besides that its none of their business, how is that a solution and answer to my problem?!?! I was enraged at this point at the unprofessionalism. They said they would have someone to get me soon but yet could still not tell me when as I asked don't you speak with your drivers, know were they are and their timelines?! No real answer again of course. So 4:30 PM came and nothing. I ended up having to pay $13 out of my own pocket to take an Uber there. Again receiving the same attitude and improper treatment when I arrived and spoke with Demetrius in person. Never once did I get an apology or anything resembling remorse, only unprofessional attitude, excuses or even lack there of, etc. As a business professional myself, I will never use them and will advise my insurance company of this treatment as well. Because of this, I then had to stress out more, rush in rush hour traffic to barely get to the dealership in time to sign the papers to work on my car, which means they now couldn't touch it until the next day because they were closing putting my repairs a day behind. read more

Seriously poor customer service; I "tried" to rent-a-car from Enterprise at your FM529/Copperfield location in Houston. It was so important that I placed a reservation several days before we needed it. During the reservation, I specified it must be a full-size quad cab with four full-size doors. Chris, the agent/manager said it would be no problem, he would have it ready Saturday morning at 9AM. Well, we showed up this morning and there were 2 trucks, both extended cabs with small backseats. We were quite disappointed. When I reminded Chris, the agent/manager that I specified a full-size quad cab, he said that Enterprise does not have full-size quad cabs. Why didn't he tell me that when I placed a very specific reservation? We left without renting a vehicle, much to our disappointment because we really needed a full-size pickup with four full-size doors. While we were leaving, we noticed a full-size quad cab Silverado in the parking lot, which was not offered to us. I asked about it, and he said it needed an oil change and would "try" to have it ready but no guarantee. Lousy customer service!!! We REALLY needed a full-size truck and this was a huge inconvenience to us! This is why I placed a reservation!!!! We left, went to another Enterprise at Joe Myer's Ford- they were very pleasant there. They had a quad cab for us and we rented it. So we are very pleased with this branch. But the manager at FM529/Copperfield - Chris?, he needs to take a customer service training class!!! read more

On March 26 I had to rent a car to get my vehicle repaired. I chose this place, they picked me up, and brought me in to get a vehicle. Now I do want to say the staff here is nice however this is a busy location. I can't remember the name of the man that out me into a Dodge Dart but this car was not meant to have anyone drive. As I'm standing in line I saw a man drop the car off. I was next so they were going to put me into this car. The man walks in drops off papers and leaves. The guy checking me out didn't bother to check the car. When I got into the car the tire pressure was off so I had to drive around back to get them aired up. The steering wheel was literally sitting about 60 degrees to the left and I was driving straight up which means the alignment was also horrible. To add the icing on the cake the front of the car had a piece of plastic hanging down scraping the ground as you drive. I was also put into this car with the gas tank on empty. Now with the tires, the alignment, and the plastic hanging it seems to me that the customer who dropped off the car obviously hit something. I immediately called corporate and they told me to then drive the car to the airport to exchange. Now keep in mind this has been going on since 10:00am Saturday by the time I got into the car and to the airport it was about 4:00 pm, they were that busy. I asked the lady from corporate would I be compensated due to having to go through all of this. She assured me I would. I put gas in the empty tank and drove to the airport. I got there and they put me in a new Altima, before I got into the car I asked would I be renting this car for the same price of the smaller Dart since this was not my fault being put into an unsafe car. He also assured me that it would be rented to me for the same price. To conclude the car wasn't rented at the same price and my card was charged and when I complained about it the company all of a sudden had no record of the situation. read more

If you like to stand in long lines, service staff to ignore you, and to be treated like a criminal this is the place for you!!!! I will never rent a rental car from this place again. The only reason I did in the first place was because the insurance company recommended them. What a big mistake! The one pro is that they treat everybody the same. There were 10 people in the building and they were ignoring everybody else. They just turned the lights off when there are 5 people in the building. I guess they want us to just leave without us dropping of the rental or picking up a vehicle. Seems like they are in a hurry to get to happy hour. I am not the only one upset. Everybody in here is very upset to be here. DO NOT EVER RENT A CAR FROM THIS PLACE. I have never had a rental car problem with the places at the airport, but this place is a joke. Ps. The car I rented had an empty fuel tank. I barely made it to the gas station to fill up before running out of gas.
