I rented one through my insurance company & returned it to the Enterprise located on FM 529. They were really nice & easy to work with. Fast forward a few weeks & I still haven't replaced my car. My son was graduating from TAMU & I needed to rent a car. I reserved one online & they reached out to me by phone making sure the car that was available was ok. I needed a mid size car & it was perfect. There were a few issues with the vehicle, but the folks at this location really took excellent care of me. The Enterprise employee stopped serving me & continued to address a series of 6 customers who arrived after me. I waited until the 3rd set of clients who arrived after me were attended to. By then I was understandably annoyed. When the Enterprise agent was attempting to sell a woman who was picking up a rental Enterprises' pricy car insurance. already disgruntled over continuing to be ignored I mentioned to the customer. If she has full coverage on her own she doesn't need to to purchase additional car insurance with Enterprise. Everything went down hill from there. The Enterprise agent refused to assign a rental car for me. Since it was a warm day I had left my insurance coverage proof at home in my jacket pocket. When I informed the Enterprise agent that my car insurance company had reserved a rental car for me at this exact place, and she should be able to access my policy number with the info provided. Nonetheless, the Enterprise agent continued to serve other customers who came in after me. After a hour of waiting I asked what the holdup was. Meanwhile I had called my claims adjuster. Who told me my car insurance policy number was accessible with the information Enterprise had given them when the rental car was reserved for me. Nevertheless, the Enterprise agent would not assign a rental car to me. Even after I had called my car insurance co. & wrote down the policy # to show them. Clearly I was being 'punished' for exposing all rental car agencies lies & misleading information about the need for costly superfluous car insurance. Undoubtedly a large part of the car rental industry's bottom line is this dubious business practice. To deceive & defraud their clients by selling them their unnecessary expensive car insurance they don't need. The whole reason for this fiasco was an Enterprise agent who decided to be a vindictive a-hole after she lost her commission based on lies & deception. If I hadn't been made to wait an hour while others who came in after me were served, I probably wouldn't have exposed their scam to begin with. Tomorrow I will have to drive 23 miles one way to the auto repair shop & repeat the entire process once again with another car rental place. The cars are always. I mean always dirty or lacking windshield wiper fluid. I won't even get on the wait. 8:30 reservation not leaving until 10 am with vehicle. They recently got a new manager. I've had very minimal interaction with him. I somehow had a refuel charge on a rental and I always put my own gas and he went it upon return and removed it. Perry always displays, professional, interpersonal skills, and dealing with customers. There have been very rude customers (totally understandable frustration) and he responded respectfully. What I would like to offer as I shouldn't have to wait an hour to two hours every time I come to get a rental. Try looking at all of your reservation the day before before you close and have cars cleaned and prepared especially for your early morning reservation. At 8:30 in the morning, I should not have to wait for you to clean a car or drive a dirty car because I am on a time schedule. There's usually only one person always working, so they can never provide pick up service which something hurts does and they did not offer to send an Uber to pick me up. So I had to spend an additional $15 just to get to the rental car place and then wait another hour before getting a rental.

It's loads better and more convenient if you're flying in but also that convenience comes at a steep cost with all the extra taxes and fees when you rent from the airport. Also, the shuttle bus is annoying. At any rate; when I rent with my own ducats, I go to the local store closest to the crib to save the funds. Customer service is hit or miss. The car you get is hit or miss, whether you can get a pick up/drop off ride is hit or miss. You definitely can't get one on Saturdays. Their hours suck plus not open on Sundays. Always have to return the car on Saturday when my flight is early Monday or late Sunday, otherwise; the drop off fee to the airport is wild. I've had a little back and forth with CS once or twice but not lately. Also, rarely the car is filled up like at the airport so half the time, I'm returning the car with more gas than I was given. Chileeeee I'm starting to talk myself into paying that extra $150 at IAH LOL but nah, I'm too frugal
