Once I got the car, the transaction was all very rushed. So much so that the person behind the counter forgot to give me back my driver's license. I had to flag them down before they left, as they immediately locked the door again right after I left the building. The car was gross, at this point I had no choice but to take it since there was no one to report my dissatisfaction too. I drove to my destination with the windows down, there was dog hair all over, cigarette burns in the seats, the dash and floor was filthy. I called customer about the situation, they checked the locations inventory and assured me there was a car available I could exchange it for. I went back to the same located was very rudely told there were not any other vehicles available. I explained i just hung up with customer service, and they checked and told me to come back to the location. A man behind the counter threw a piece of paper at me and said call customer service back. I decided it was not okay to treat customers this way, so I decided to just return the call and go without for the rest of mt trip. Super inconvenient!! Avis took no responsibility and didn't even offer to thoroughly clean the car. I will never, ever rent from this location again!

When I arrived for pickup on July 3rd, the van was vandalized from the night before--windows smashed.. The worst part? The branch knew about the damage all day but never called, emailed, or texted me. I only found out after showing up at 4pm--too late to find alternatives before the holiday rush. No 15-passenger vans left. No SUVs (just one 5-passenger car). All minivans on-site were under recall. Branch was understaffed and totally unprepared. This derailed our reunion plans, created huge logistical headaches, and added a ton of unnecessary stress to a major family event I spent months organizing. I spoke with a rep who "escalated" the case, but Enterprise has gone silent: No updates. No apology. No accountability. I'm still hopeful Enterprise will do the right thing. I've given them time, sent a demand letter, and now I'm sharing my experience publicly.

I'm extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Enterprise. I was quoted $182 for a…read morestandard rental, and before booking, I reviewed their policy, which clearly says: "The deposit amount will be stated in the reservation confirmation email." Well -- there was no deposit amount listed anywhere in my confirmation email. I assumed, based on their policy, that the $300 deposit only applied to luxury or sports vehicles. But when I arrived to pick up the car, I was told a $300 deposit was required for all vehicles, completely contradicting both their policy and the quote I was given. Their Deposit Amount policy first states it's a "potential" of incurring additional amounts. Therefore, it is not guaranteed but possible. Then their policy list the cars this "potential incurring additional amounts" is regarding to and the vehicle I reserved is not on that list which was a simple basic Compact SUV. This unexpected charge completely ruined my trip and left me scrambling. Enterprise failed to honor their own policy, and the lack of transparency is unacceptable. If the deposit had been clearly disclosed upfront -- like the policy claims -- I could have planned accordingly. I won't be booking with Enterprise again unless they fix this and start communicating properly with their customers.
