Excellent experience. They answered my phone call immediately. I had a very early flight leaving MCI. Brain showed up even before the pick up time. He communicated well confirmed the pick & let me know when he was at my location. Was a very pleasant ride will definitely use HD express again. read more

I travel almost every week with the job I have now. My wife was determined to take me to the airport and pick me up every time because she would miss me. That lasted three trips so I had to find a car service. I tried a few and was not impressed. I was however impressed with these guys the first day I used them because they were on time. I've used them for 4 years now. I'm never worried about them being late, I trust that they will be there on time every time. That would be enough for me to be happy. But they are also fun to ride with. I hate riding in the back so they let me ride in the front unless I want to sleep then they let me crash in the back. We banter back and forth and it makes the rides fun. Don't let Brian's Patriot's jersey fool you, he's a die hard Chiefs fan and will cheer for them first. read more

I was in KC for business for a couple days and decided to use taxis as my form of transportation. THANK GOD for HD Express. Brian, the owner, was personable, consistent, dependable and customer service driven. Al, one of his drivers, was the exact same way. If you are a nice person, these guys will treat you well. They picked me up every morning for work and were right on time. It is stressful depending on a cab to get you to work on time, but I never had to worry with these guys. Their word is important to them. If they tell you they will pick you up, they WILL be there. I was short on cash for my cab fare, but my driver saw it as no issue. He smiled and accepted what I could give him. He knew I would get him back the next time I am in town because I will be using HD Express every time I am in Kansas. If you want a ride from a RELIABLE cab company that values their customers and do not just see them as a cab fare, HD Express is the way to go. Thanks HD Express for making my time in KC easy, affordable, and stress-free. read more

Nice guy, clean car, bad jokes, reasonable. I'll call him next time I'm in town.

These guys are amazing. I have taken a lot of cabs, but these fellers are the rare breed who actually care. Cabs are clean and fantastic, and the drivers are interesting, charming people. Their five star review is definitely accurate. Do yourself a favor and call them now. read more

I used this service for two days while staying at the Overland Park Sheraton Convention Center and needed to get to the Crown Center KC. I had my 7 yr old granddaughter with me and needed safe and reliable drop off and pick up each day for a good reasonable price. Driver Rick drove us 3 times and Lindsay picked us up once. I can't say enough good things about this cab service and their wonderful drivers. I never actually met owner Brian but my conversations on the phone and his calls to confirm each time made me feel like he was a good friend! I highly recommend them for your travel needs. If I didn't already have a convention shuttle to the airport pre-booked I would have called Brian again! read more

I got stranded in the midst of a cross country drive and these guys helped me immensely. Both of the drivers I had were extremely pleasant, interesting, and kind- something rare with drivers these days. I would absolutely suggest these guys for any of your needs. They're the best, for sure. No doubt about it! read more

Brian and his team embody the idea of customer service. I was in town for a few days and called them for a ride from my hotel. They went out of their way to accommodate me after every other service said that they were busy. He is friendly, dependable, and truly cares about his customers. I highly recommend calling Brian for any rides you may need in KC. I will definitely be calling him again next time I'm in the area. read more

Needed a night out with the guys so we called Brian with HD. One of the guys used him for a airport run before and said that he was nice and very personable and had picked him up early and had a clean van. Brian pick us and our night out started with us talking football and baseball and what were looking forward to this evening. We couldn't make up our minds where to eat so Brian was our tiebreaker. I would recommend HD to anyone who wants to be picked up on time and who would like a great experience in a clean car and a friendly driver. I'll be calling him for future guys night outs and airport runs. read more

I needed someone dependable to pick me up at 5:15 a.m. to drop me off at the hospital for surgery on 9/16. Even though it was pouring down rain, Brian arrived fifteen minutes early and waited on my driveway until 5:15. He was very friendly, polite and I felt very safe during the ride. I'm very happy that I chose HD Express and will highly recommend them to my friends. Thank you, Brian and HD Express Taxi! read more

I had a great experience with HD Express from start to finish. Brian's rates simply couldn't be beat, which was what sold me initially, but as it turned out there was more to appreciate, like: a clean, comfortable car; good conversation; and dependable and consistent service. I'll be calling them again. read more

This review is long overdue. I stayed at the Elms Hotel with my bestie for a girl's getaway and we needed a ride to the Country Club Plaza. We called a few other taxi services and received outlandish quotes and not so friendly service (they acted like they would be doing us a favor if we scheduled with them). Luckily I checked yelp and found HD Express Taxi. Brian was awesome - great price, very prompt pickup, and great info about the area. We agreed that we should book him to take us to the airport the day we left, and I can say that I felt very confident that his daughter who is a driver as well, would pick us up on time (she was early). I highly recommend this service! read more

I have used HD Express for at least the past 5 years - they are all extremely nice. Brian is always so easy to work with and will accommodate my schedule whether it is for a night out or a trip to the airport. I just returned from a trip where he had to take me to the airport at 4:30am and my flight was delayed getting in until 11:30pm - he was as always nice and cheerful. I highly recommend HD Express!!!!! read more

I recently came to Kansas City on a business trip. When I got to my hotel I asked the person at the front desk if he could help me get a taxi which I will need for the next morning. What I found strange he said we dont really have any cab companies I can recommend. I did a search on google for cab companies in Kansas City and made a couple of calls. I spoke with Brian, maybe the owner and he was very helpful. He told me how much it would cost and that turned out to be a flat rate, no taxi meters in the car. The driver was very personable, came in a nice big car where the 4 of us would fit very comfortably and got me to my destination in a timely manner. I made arrangements with them also to pick me up the next morning and they were right on time. It's hard to know if you picked a company that is reliable, but they really are. If you are ever in the Kansas City area or coming to KC, look them up and call them ahead of time. Im confident they will be there when you need them at a good rate. read more
