I booked a car for the end of April. My son was coming in from out of town and we wanted to be downtown and have an evening out. They quoted me a price which is around $380 and I signed the contract. In a couple days they called me back and said that I could have the car but now I had to pay $195 an hour plus minimum of 10 hours. They said of course I could cancel if I wanted to at that price I went ahead and canceled. I was told the reason was that they found out it was the NFL tournament downtown in Kansas City that weekend so that changed the price. I told them I signed a contact but that didn't seem to make a difference. With this kind of business practices, I feel like they will not be able to keep up their business if they treat all their customers this way. Please try another limo service before you try this one. The owner, Diane, designed our itinerary and picked the wineries based off her experience and expertise-- and they were PERFECT!!!!! Our driver Mark was so helpful and his service level and professionalism was above and beyond! I feel their pricing is VERY fair and there are many vehicles to choose from. I checked with several car services and OCS were the most prompt, also they seemed very professional. The cost was the same as other places i had checked with when arranging the transportation for a bachelorette party. I was running into trouble with various companies being less than professional and even bailing on me for service regarding my party. I knew OCS were a long standing KC company and that gave me confidence to go with them. I was very happy with the service and the communication up to the event. The night of the event we had the good fortune to get Arthur as our driver. He was an absolute class act. He was so friendly, helpful, smiling all the time. Everyone just adored him. He also was very safe driving all around town and very concerned that everyone had the most safe experience getting in and out of the limo, then into our different destinations. Stellar transportation team! We had a wedding a few weeks ago, and our transportation needs were complex. A groom's SUV with two stops, a bride's S-Series with multiple stops from 10am to past midnight and a family Sprinter with multiple drop-offs and pick-ups. With only one explanation / overview, the Overland team perfectly organized all of our needs, the drivers and mapping the drop-offs and pick-ups. I cannot say enough good things about Overland and would use them time and time again! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! I booked a round trip service, one way from the airport to hotel, one way back from hotel to the airport. They charged my credit card 4 times for $200 each!! $800 for a round-trip service! When I emailed to let them know their error, they told me that I booked once online and I "verbally" booked again???? um, why would someone verbally book the same trip twice?? That doesn't even make sense. They know very well I only received one trip from airport and one trip to airport, yet still charged for 4 trips. This is EXTREMELY poor business practice. Thank goodness I used an American Express and was able to dispute the charges!!! read more

We were quite satisfied working with Overland Limousine for our April 2014 wedding. We simply needed transportation from our ceremony location to our reception location with a few stops for photos during the trip. We rented the 22-passenger limo bus. During the planning people, the staff people (I talked with two) at Overland Limousine were professional and quick with replying to my emails. The driver was ready to pick us up at the planned time on the day-of. The bus was clean and the driver (Russell) was nice. I was quite impressed with how top-notch the interior of the bus was. I would have thought that our group was the first set of passengers to ever ride on the bus. The leather seats, trim, floors, etc., did not appear to have evidence of previous riders. Everything seemed brand new. Our driver talked with me to confirm the stops that he would make, according to the plans that I had made previously with Katie at Overland Limo via email. I got the impression that Overland Limo is a very well-organized company with a good planning/coordinating process for its customers. From the several KC-area limo companies exhibiting at bridal shows to the several other limo companies from which I requested quotes, Overland Limo was one of the most reasonable and by far the most professional limo company I dealt with during my wedding vendor search. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing a limo for their event! read more

Had to give them a star, but let me tell you, absolute disgusting customer service, reserved a pick up for my daughter from Kansas city Airport at 1.00am so i could be assured my daughter would be safe and get home. They did not arrive and when my daughter called she was told "oh we have no one available to pick you up" at 1.00am. My daughter was in flight when they supposedly called my daughter and cancelled "which they never did". So now i have a young 20 plus year old lady waiting at an airport where there is nobody around praying that Uber comes and gets here, so she can get home safely. I work with a lot of a chauffeur services and NEVER had this non caring attitude. I'm sure I'm not the first father who this company has left their daughter stranded. I called also and got the "we don't give a shit" customer service. Lesson - Don't have a website that gives availability to reserve a vehicle when you don't have any vehicles available to pick up your clients. Booking was extremely easy over the phone, and they were very flexible when we needed to move the times around based on our tight timeline. On the day of, we were greeted on time by Darren for both rides, and he was just an exemplary chauffeur. He made sure we were comfortable and his driving was flawless. We have used Overland vehicles for a variety of things, from trips to the airport and family outings to transporting a large group to and from a party. Their vehicles are always spotless and the drivers so professional. They are usually at least 15 minutes early, which eliminates a lot of stress. Nothing better than having them waiting in your driveway to take you to an early morning flight or having one of their drivers standing right outside the gate at KCI to help with luggage and get you home safely.
