I booked an airport pick up for flight arrival at 8:45 am, purposely selecting a mini van since we were traveling with 2 adults, a large service dog, a walker, 2 large suitcases and 2 carry on suitcases along with a few other small items. While I had a confirmation, I called the night before to confirm where we would meet him. He informed me he was also be taking home another passenger. I explained how hesitant about it I was, asking if there really was enough room, how out of the way it would be before taking us home and expressed I didn't like the idea. When I asked about him charging less, he said we could negotiate it. Admittedly, I didn't say no which I should have. However he never should have accepted another booking for the same time. We reserved private pick up and that's what we wanted. Apparently we were too slow for him so he took the other guy and left. The new airport deplaning area is a long way from baggage claim. We had to wait until the plane emptied to get our items and a ride in the wheel chair. When we got off the elevator near baggage, there were probably 10 guys lined up with passenger names but none was ours. Luggage was still arriving on the carousel and ours wasn't up yet. I called Brian but got no answer. He immediately called back and told me he had left with the other passenger since we weren't there and I didn't answer my phone. Yes, my phone was still on airplane mode which shouldn't have surprised someone who picks up airport passengers. My phone didn't ring and it didn't occur to me that he would leave us. But he did. Their policy is to charge even if you don't show up for your booking. He was going to get paid whether or not I was there. There is no excuse for leaving while luggage was still coming up and not waiting to be certain his passenger wouldn't arrive. It's not up to him to judge how long a passenger needs to get to baggage claim. Luckily he found a fellow driver still at the airport from dropping a passenger who picked us up as a huge favor since he had his own schedule to keep. So about 10 or so minutes later, he shows up with a Town Car. Nice vehicle, but not for all we had. Our poor dog was in the back seat with me and the walker that wouldn't fit in the trunk. He had to sit up the entire ride home and obviously wasn't comfortable as he couldn't move. T2We Yes I supposedly will receive a credit for this ride. It's not what I anticipated nor should have received. Our driver Eric was very nice but couldn't make up for our inconvenience caused by the owner. When you book, be sure to confirm you are the ONLY passengers he'll be porting. read more

I took a chance because of their reasonable fees and I had a great experience! On time at 3:00 AM, professional and so nice. I left my house and automobile key in the car and didn't realize it until I was returning from my overseas trip. I used them for my return trip home, my driver had my keys and informed me as soon as I got in the car. Whew! Another middle of the night trip home and I left my phone in the car which I realized 20 minutes later and here he comes knocking with my phone. I had an amazing experience today when I called Gratitude Transportation. Brian answered the phone immediately and put me in contact with Eric who I booked to pick up my 95 year dad and his friend so they could go out for an evening on the town! As a daughter living out of state I needed to know my dad was in very capable hands way more specific then having them get an Uber and worry about them getting a second one later in the evening. Terrible customer service. Had a reservation and 14 hours before they were to pick up 8 people, they cancelled!! This was after I made calls, left messages, and sent emails to confirm because I had not gotten the call they promised me. And to make it worse, they cancelled 14 hours before pickup VIA EMAIL! Going beyond the transaction .... Flew into Kansas City for the first time. Thus; new airport, new town ... where do I go for pick up etc... Was pleasantly surprised when there was a text waiting for me when I arrived stating driver on way and a voice mail. I immediately phoned the driver and he knew exactly where I was standing because I wasn't sure I was in the right spot. Very much appreciated the call - takes the anxiety out of traveling. Same professional service on return trip. I was ready for pick up a half hour early so I texted the person that let me know they were on the way to pick me up and low and behold the person was already in parking lot waiting. Brian is an exceptional and kind business owner. My plane was delayed because of snow, and I arrived at MCI at 11:30. The rental car desks were closed. I was stuck. I called The Raphael and they called Brian who called me and ordered an Uber for me. I had tried Lyft and received no response. The Uber was driven by one of his drivers who took me to The Raphael. I was exhausted, tired, and worn out. The driver was exceptional. The next day, Brian took us back to MCI to the door of the rental car terminal. It was a comfortable, safe ride.
