I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding the unacceptable service my husband and I received from Store #2699. This is not the first issue we have experienced with this location. On two previous occasions, we reserved vehicles only to be informed upon arrival that the vehicle we reserved was not available. Because of those past experiences, my husband took the extra step of calling the store at approximately 2:00 PM on the day of our reservation to confirm that the vehicle was available. We were specifically assured that there were no issues and that the vehicle would be ready for pickup. Despite that assurance, we were contacted approximately two and a half hours later and informed that there were no vehicles available. At that point, it was too late for us to make alternative arrangements. We had already paid for our Airbnb accommodations and made plans based on the reservation that your company confirmed. We then spent valuable time calling multiple rental companies in an attempt to find another vehicle, but none were available. What is most concerning is that this situation appears to be the result of poor communication, poor inventory management, and a lack of consideration for customers' time and money. If no vehicle was available, we should have been notified immediately, especially after specifically calling to verify the reservation. Instead, we were given false assurances and left with no reasonable opportunity to make other arrangements. The situation became even more upsetting when we arrived at the store to seek assistance. Rather than showing empathy or attempting to help resolve the issue, Manager Mauricio treated us with disrespect. While we were trying to understand why our reservation had not been honored, he threatened to call the police on me simply because I remained inside the office seeking answers. At no point did he demonstrate professionalism, customer service, or concern for the hardship this situation created. As a result of your company's failure to provide the reserved vehicle, we have suffered financial losses, wasted time, emotional distress, and the disruption of important personal plans. My husband had organized a birthday trip for me, including lodging arrangements, and because of your location's actions, those plans are now in jeopardy. A reservation should provide customers with confidence and reliability, not uncertainty and frustration. I am requesting that this complaint be escalated to a District Manager, Regional Manager, Human Resources representative, or Corporate Customer Relations department for immediate review. I would also like an explanation regarding why reservations continue to be accepted at this location when vehicles are apparently unavailable, and why customers are not being informed in a timely manner. I believe compensation for the financial losses and inconvenience we experienced should be considered. More importantly, I hope steps are taken to ensure that other customers do not experience the same treatment and lack of service that we did. I received a complimentary rental from Toyota while my car is being repaired at the dealership. Upon arrival, there was a bit of a wait because only one representative was assisting a customer. I stood there for a while before being acknowledged. It would have been helpful if the representative had said, "I'll be with you shortly" to manage expectations during the wait. Eventually, another service attendant assisted returning customers and then asked me if I was returning or picking up, assuring me he would be with me shortly. During the course of a month, I rented twice from this Enterprise location. Each time I visited, the professionalism of all the employees I interacted with was above and beyond. The location seems to be very busy and the employees were pleasant and efficient serving all customers. The prices and the selection of vehicles were as expected. I asked to switch vehicles during my second rental period and they accommodated me The first vehicle I rented was hundreds of miles past due for an oil change, otherwise the 3 vehicles I had were clean and in good condition. I have posted a prior review of this Enterprise location and left a glowing evaluation. Sadly, I now have to change that assessment. In recent months I have had several more rentals at this location. At best, I have to wait each time for a vehicle to be cleaned. Even if I arrive later then the reservation, it is always a wait for a clean vehicle. Worse, I have, on two occasions, had an issue where the reserved vehicle was not available at all, both rentals intended for a weekend trip. This most recent episode, I received a call 5 minutes prior to my rental and had just arrived in the parking lot. I was advised I may have the vehicle I reserved sometime that day, but not at 9 am as reserved. I was asked what other vehicle I could use, and I replied that the Ford Van out front would work... and then the line disconnected. The folks that work here seem nice and clearly put in a lot of effort. Sadly, when you have plans you need a reliable business to provide what is arranged. Good morning I have been coming to this location for over 5 years. They have had there ups and downs. This Last year with the manger being Igor was a great experience everything was organized and speedy process. Now it is going downhill again. I made a reservation on Wednesday December 7th 2022 then I get a phone call on Friday to confirm my pickup for Saturday. When you call to confirm for pick up you are ensuring that everything is set correct? I get to the enterprise today for a pickup at the x correct time even earlier then expected for the pickup I get here and the rental is not here. I took an Uber to get here. Have been waiting for over 1 hour and no word for anyone, only thing the current manger Foster said is that would you like us to take us home. As soon as a white lady comes in she is taking care and rental is handled to her. Unbelievable. This is so stressful, to have made plans and for enterprise to mess up everything. I've been an enterprise customer for over 15yrs. I called enterprise and they transferred me to a reservation line where Alex quoted me $26 a day (geico claims paid the difference). This is the 2nd time I arrived at this location, and the same (Hispanic) guy who calls himself "Foxter" refused this price. (Around 2:45pm 12/4/22). When I brought this up to him, he replied with " then why do you come to my store" and was largely up unpleasant. In the first instance (11/23/22) I left the margate location and went to the pompano beach location where they thankfully honored the price quoted by their own reservation service. This is clearly an issue with only the margate location. I'm more sure if it's discrimination or just a bait and switch tactic. I pray that enterprise can address this internal issue. read more

Then I call the next day when they open and am told that they can only pick me up in 2hrs... I end up unerring thinking it'll save me some time and I get there and am told they don't have my vehicle despite me making this reservation two weeks in advance and that they're getting one brought in that it'll be another hour. I was picked up by an Enterprise employee and brought to the Enterprise office. I was there to rent a car as my vehicle was in the shop and the dealership would be paying for my rental while I waited for a part to come in. The man there was very friendly and as I was in line, my mechanic calls me and tells me to see if they can bring me to the dealership as my car was ready. Pleasant surprise as my part came in early! The man behind the counter, (reluctantly I did not get his name) immediately got me a ride to the dealership! So I have given them NO money or anything and they were all still courteous, pleasant, and drove me then to the dealership to get my car! If they treat me this way when I paid nothing, imagine how they would treat me as a customer! They will definitely be getting my business in the future if needed and I will highly recommend this particular Enterprise office to my friends and relatives! Seriously great customer service! This review isn't so much for renting a car. Every year or so I look around for car insurance. You really have to keep an eye on these companies as they are sneaky and will raise your rates little by little, and a company that may have given you a high quote a year or two ago, may now be way cheaper than the one you are with. My car insurance was up for renewal and I found a cheaper rate through Geico, but they wanted a car inspection. I was a little worried this would be a hassle. I found that Enterprise offers these inspections and made a phone call. They informed me that there was no appointment necessary and that I could stop in during business hours. I arrived a little after 4pm on a Tuesday and found the place to be pretty empty, with two very friendly employees working. I said that I needed a car inspection and they had me fill out a form (name, address license plate, VIN, insurance policy) and did a walk around visual inspection of my car. I spend probably ten minutes there and they faxed the paperwork over to Geico providing me with a copy as well. No hassle at all. I can't comment on car rental here, but the staff were very friendly and efficient, which should say something about the business in general, and if you need an insurance inspection it will be quick and painless. read more

Can't remember the guy's name but he's a red head with a bad attitude he got annoyed that I asked him how long my rental would be available for I've been waiting for 45mints and he said that it would be right out. He upgraded me as a courtesy Jeff is his name. Total jerk and kept arguing with me. He didn't take the time to listen to my needs or find a solution for me as the customer. I rent cars all of the time and usually go to another place in the area. After telling him that I wanted to cancel my reservation he said something sarcastic and mumbled something to himself. As I proceeded to cancel my reservation he kept trying to justify his behavior and only got me more upset. I told him that I appreciated him trying to clarify but that I didn't want to continue talking about this situation.
