I arrived at the airport and went directly to the Emerald Aisle, but unfortunately the selection was extremely limited there were essentially mini vans everywhere and very few options that met my needs. I spoke with Latisha, and she was absolutely wonderful. She listened to what I needed, took the time to help, and went above and beyond to accommodate me. Because of her effort and customer service, I left feeling completely satisfied and happy with my rental experience. I will say that the vehicle selection at this location has not always been the best whenever I've flown out of this airport. However, what stands out is that the staff consistently makes every effort to find a solution and make things right when the selection isn't ideal. Latisha is a great example of what excellent customer service looks like. She was professional, kind, accommodating, and genuinely made a difference in my experience. National is fortunate to have her on the team!

I was like are you going to put gas on the car and the gentleman stated no, you can take it next door to the gas station, we don't provide gas. I was SO Disappointed ;(... When I went back to return the car rental, I was like "OK Guys I need to be dropped off at the airport" can someone drop me off? And they were kind enough to drop me off with no problem and I dropped off the car with 1/2 tank of GAS. Overall with all the craziness I will return back to this location and Highly recommend it. Terrible Customer Service at Fort Lauderdale Airport…read more I have been an Alamo customer for decades, but my recent experience at the Fort Lauderdale Airport location was extremely disappointing. I told the representatives what type of vehicle I wanted within the class I had reserved, and I was simply told to "pick any car in Row 5." After looking at the vehicles available, I couldn't find one that was acceptable. I went back and asked for assistance in finding a suitable vehicle and even asked if they could check the Enterprise parking lot, since it is part of the same organization. I was told there were no other cars available. It took approximately 25 minutes of repeatedly asking for assistance before someone finally radioed another part of the facility and located a vehicle that met my needs. The frustrating part is that this could have been resolved much sooner with just a little customer service. Also, Alamo, a Nissan Sentra and a Nissan Altima are not the same or similar vehicles when the reservation is for a full-size car. Customers should receive a vehicle that reasonably matches the class they reserved. After being a loyal Alamo customer for decades, this experience has seriously changed my opinion of the company. The next time I need to rent a car, I'll be taking my business to one of your competitors.

It seems these days that people need a rental vehicle for more than just a getaway or vacation…read more From what I've been observing, the most common need is that the person's vehicle is in the mechanic's shop and is waiting for the parts to be delivered. In my situation, I am in the process of trading in my vehicle for a new one at a dealership, but they didn't have the model of my choice on the lot so I've put down a deposit and I'm patiently waiting for it to be delivered. Whatever the reason, Enterprise has an easy going rental process where you can either modify or extend your reservation. Some people want a specific vehicle so it is best to find out in advance the vehicle's (or similar) availability at the location so you don't become frustrated when you go to the office for pick up. The employees are pleasant and takes care of each customer in a timely manner. Before handing you the keys to the rental, the employee does a thorough inspection on the condition (inside/outside) of the vehicle, and the vehicle's interior/exterior gets cleaned as well.

I showed up and they don't have a premium car and they want to give me a Toyota Corolla for $5 less per day. They said they couldn't call to confirm my rental because I booked through Expedia. I let them know about my awful experience yesterday and how frustrating this was. I booked the car online as it was about $5 cheaper per day (despite not wanting to drive a full sized car after booking a premium). The manager, ZUBAER, told me he wouldn't rent to me now and to go to another car rental company. Because I said I was frustrated. I am not going to be extremely late and had to book at $80 uber one way to my destination. I will spend $300 today min on Ubers as I don't have time to stop to book another rental somewhere else. The manager could've taken the poor experience I had and them not having a car and made it way better but chose to tell me to "call an Uber". This is absolutely awful customer service. I have worked at enterprise and we valued customers business and their experience and I am never renting from an enterprise again after this experience. **DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT do business with this company!**…read more I rented a compact car from them in March 2026, expecting a quick, hassle-free experience. Instead, I got hit with shady upselling and the whole "I got you, homeboy" routine, which convinced me to upgrade and ended up costing me over $200 extra. I returned the car clean and damage-free. As a Marine, I always inspect my rental vehicles thoroughly before and after use. Fast-forward to this morning, October 3, 2026. I received an alert that a collection account had appeared on all three credit reports! Apparently, this company generated an additional charge of over **$800 for alleged scratches on a wheel rim**. I only found out about the charge because of my credit monitoring notification. No phone calls, no formal collection notice, and no direct communication from a collection agency I'd never even heard of. They simply sent the alleged debt to collections, and my FICO scores dropped **21-27 points!** I believe their handling of this raises serious concerns under the FCRA and FDCPA. I've already disputed the account with all three credit bureaus and plan to file complaints with the BBB and consumer protection agencies. I'm beyond upset! What started as a simple car rental has turned into an absolute nightmare. **Save yourself the headache and take your business elsewhere!**
