I am sitting in their lobby as we speak typing this. This is day 2 of booking yet another premium car and then not being able to fulfill it. I showed up and they don't have a premium car and they want to give me a Toyota Corolla for $5 less per day. They said they couldn't call to confirm my rental because I booked through Expedia. I let them know about my awful experience yesterday and how frustrating this was. I booked the car online as it was about $5 cheaper per day (despite not wanting to drive a full sized car after booking a premium). The manager, ZUBAER, told me he wouldn't rent to me now and to go to another car rental company. Because I said I was frustrated. I am not going to be extremely late and had to book at $80 uber one way to my destination. I will spend $300 today min on Ubers as I don't have time to stop to book another rental somewhere else. The manager could've taken the poor experience I had and them not having a car and made it way better but chose to tell me to "call an Uber". This is absolutely awful customer service. I have worked at enterprise and we valued customers business and their experience and I am never renting from an enterprise again after this experience. I got scammed by Economy Rent a Car at Fort Lauderdale airport that wanted to charge me three times of what Booking quoted me when I reserve the car. Like many people, I have been burned at numerous car rental businesses who didn't have the car type that I had reserved, or had no cars left at all, or their cars were dirty or smelled of smoke. Not the case here. This place was clean, bright, and cheerful, and the staff were efficient and very friendly. The actual car type that I reserved was there and ready to go, it had a full tank of gas, it was in perfect condition, and it was spotless and odor-free. The whole experience with them was an absolute pleasure. Special shout-out to Rosa and Sebastian who helped me at check-in and check-out, but really everyone there was super friendly. I came here early. I needed to rent a car because of an accident I had. Enterprise picked me up straight from the body shop. I thought that was great service. I was dropped off right in front of the door. There was a line but the staff was quick and that line moved fast. I was thankful because I had to get to work. They assigned me to a similar vehicle that I was driving. That made me happy. I liked the vehicle. I was driving the truck for a few days when I noticed that the tags were expired. I called the company and was told that they just forgot to put the new ones on but if I felt uncomfortable I could bring it back. I did not run into any problems. The staff was great. It seems these days that people need a rental vehicle for more than just a getaway or vacation. From what I've been observing, the most common need is that the person's vehicle is in the mechanic's shop and is waiting for the parts to be delivered. In my situation, I am in the process of trading in my vehicle for a new one at a dealership, but they didn't have the model of my choice on the lot so I've put down a deposit and I'm patiently waiting for it to be delivered. Whatever the reason, Enterprise has an easy going rental process where you can either modify or extend your reservation. Some people want a specific vehicle so it is best to find out in advance the vehicle's (or similar) availability at the location so you don't become frustrated when you go to the office for pick up. The employees are pleasant and takes care of each customer in a timely manner. Before handing you the keys to the rental, the employee does a thorough inspection on the condition (inside/outside) of the vehicle, and the vehicle's interior/exterior gets cleaned as well. read more

Avoid this location and company. I had a car accident and unfortunately I need to rent a car with the insurance. Unfortunately this is the only company that my insurance holder works with. Is being a Nightmare, not customer service, rude , unprofessional, I being waiting 2 weeks supposedly in a list cause they don't have any cars cause of the Holidays and a flood. I being understanding but 2 times already saying that there's car to come and when I get here. Oh we don't have any cars , you just made this reservation today. So my insurance company set up a rental for me with this company.. they scheduled a pick up at my house to go to the location.. when I arrived.. I was told that they could not rent me a car due to an issue with corporate. I said ok no problem, I didn't cause a scene or anything." The main reason I am giving this one star is because of how rude the assistant branch manager Juan Viva was. I felt so uncomfortable I almost didn't rent the car at all and I was renting for four days I also got conflicting information from the two other workers there on the rate and the insurance which I kept saying I didn't need, I was fully covered and they told me some things that were not 100 percent accurate but Juan just made everything worse with his attitude and the way he spoke to me and threatened me saying I'll never be allowed to rent from that location again ( Like I would want to) My friend who lives in Hallandale later told me his sister had a problem with the same guy.. the prices were a little high, I don't need to be made to feel uncomfortable or have to defend myself on top of it read more

Why are there never any SUV's or cars here to rent, always such low stock. Employees refused to drive customers home even though it's less than a mile and it was raining. It was they who inconvenienced the client by not having any cars when the client had a reservation and this was going on to several people that were in line the day I was at this establishment. I needed a rental for a week bc my car was being fixed at Hallandale Auto Electric (an amazing car repair shop, read my review on them) which is only 2 blocks from here. They were quick, polite, and knowledgeable. They even give a discount if your car is being serviced at Hallandale Electric. When I came back 5 days later to return the rental, they gave me a ride to the repair shop and she even unloaded my belongings from the rental car into my car! Super sweet people here. This location is not close to where I live or work, but next time I need a rental, I wouldn't mind making the drive over here for the customer service alone. read more

I got a very horrible experience here. My car had a engine damage because of the flooding on June 2020. And Progressive booked the rental car in this location for a month. When I came here to pick up the car they gave me a convertible. I was so happy and I thought this office was very nice to give me a convertible just like many car. But I was wrong! Nobody ever told me that there would be a charge of $5 a day plus taxes. The staff only told me that there would be a charge on my credit card of security deposit and at the end of the rental they will refund me the charge. So I signed the document when they gave me the car without reading it very carefully. And when I returned the car On July 1st , they charged me $335.02 , I immediately called my insurance company and they told me that progressive already paid all the bills and taxes. I shouldn't be paying any extra money. On August, I found out that they never refunded me, So I came to this office and they told me they would look into it and let me know. But I waited a month and came back to this office again on September. And they still told me to wait and they would look into it. Now it's January 2021. I still didn't get my refund or any answer from Enterprise. The staffs in this office don't cares about customers at all, all they did was tell me to wait and hope I could forget about it. It's common sense when the insurance company paid all the bill of rental car, the rental company should give whatever car the insurance company booked. Why would there be a extra charge ? And even there was why I didn't hear from the staff about the charge ? How can he lied about the extra charge as refundable ? And waited for more than 6 months for a refund or an answer is unbelievable and unacceptable. With a lot of bad reviews, I was skeptical to rent a car from this place, but it was the only rental car business in the area that assured me I could get a one-day rental the next morning. After speaking on the phone with an Enterprise representative for about 5 minutes, I already had a vehicle reserved for the next morning. The place smelled like feces and marihuana for starters. I made an online reservation and called multiple times but their phone system supposedly wasn't working so I was not able to receive the complimentary pickup service offered on their page. Upon arrival I was informed that they did not have my vehicle. They offered me a smaller one that I accepted which I agreed to. Then I was informed that the vehicle was not Available, I requested the manager and asked to receive a complementary upgrade which she denied. I asked to switch my rental to one day and let her know I would get another at a different enterprise due to not being satisfied of the service. She asked my why I was not satisfied I politely pointed out that my rental was not available and that I was not offered a solution that did not add additional fees. She informed me that there are other rental places nearby and that she will not be renting me a vehicle. Get ready for a call from corporate and maybe a visit from a k9 as your office smells of weed. *****Just to follow up, I was contacted by someone who promised I would hear back from corporate. This is the worst location for car rental. STAY AWAY AS FAR AS POSSIBLE!!!! If they have a manager at this location he better read this! Prior to renting a car, we called and asked what the policies are for pick up and drop off. We picked up the car on Friday, September 27, 2019 at 3:30pm the employee "female" that rented the car verbally stated: "Bring the car at 3:30pm, but we will give you 30 minutes of grace period, so don't worry". The next day, Saturday, September 28, 2019 we headed back to the rental place at 2:50pm, with the hopes of returning the car earlier. Prior to the return we called the location for drop off. Zack answered the phone and informed us that they were closing at 3:00pm but upon our request they would take our car 15 min past closing. We arrived at this location at 3:02pm. The location manager, refused to allow us drop the car, caused massive headache and stress to us. After we tried to explain the story of how the lady employee informed us to have the car back by 3:30pm (4:00 pm with grace period), the rude manager told us there was nothing he can do! Enterprise should definitely have all of their employees know the rules and policies of the work environment. If an employee informs a customer to drop the car at 3:30pm while they close the shop at 3:00pm, that is an outrageous way to scam people and make them pay for an extra day. To have to deal with a massive headache and stress an hour before our flight is an inconvenience that the corporate location should take a look at it. Frankly, I will never use Enterprise services, and this experience ruined the entire atmosphere of our trip. Causing massive stress while on vacation because of an employees inability to know ones job policies is outrageous. I rent here all the time, very courteous, fast quick to get in my car. The transaction to check in or drop off the car is always easy. Once in a while I get lucky and the van is here to drop me off at my house but it's OK because I only live a few minutes away anyway. Rented a car out of Ft Lauderdale for 10 day vacation, my return flight was canceled by American then rescheduled for later in the day out of Miami airport. I called Customer Service requesting to update my rental to be dropped of at the Miami airport instead of FT Lauderdale, I was told that was a void of my contract and I would be charged an additional $1,036 over and above the original rate. This seems extreme and unfair, CS representative said there was nothing else she could do and they didn't care if they lost my business. NEVER USING Enterprise again for my car rental needs!!! I am loyal customer but this particular branch has many things that are not done correctly. I always make reservations for any rental but this past 8 months, this location has not meet any of the customers expectations. Especially now with the COVID 19. I waiter for my reservation for about an hour. First I was told the car was not in the location. It has to be brought in, but when I ask again he said the car is at this location because someone canceled. It was been clean when I look. I check the car outside but honestly I didn't look hard inside because is usually clean. I should have look hard inside too. This car was not clean, it was nasty inside. I have to clean and sanitized it. The screen was so nasty too. It read they are sanitizing the cars is a lie. They are getting worse on customer service and cleanliness. I returned the car and they would not send me a last bill. Don't waste your time with this company. They have become the worse. I will look for car rental somewhere else. The only reason I gave 1 star is because everyone was nice that worked there. I had a rental for 12pm on a Monday and we waited 30 mins for them to tell us that they had to put front tires on our van. They said it would be 45mins. We said fine and ran a few errands. After 2 hrs of waiting I called and they said that the tire place had to find different tires and it would be another 45mins. I was so upset by then. After another hr I called again and they said the van was there. We showed up and no van was in sight. We waited an additional 30mins for them to bring the van and then they wanted to wash it. I was so mad that we told them they didn't have to wash it and they kept saying it was almost done. Everyone was nice and they said they would take care of our rental for the day because of waiting. We left with barely time to make it to dinner a few hrs away. After we came back from our vacation I got an email with a charge for the rental. I called and they said they were only going to take $29 off of the $186 rental!! Are you kidding me!?!! After complaining they finally said they would take $100 off. I appreciate it because we really waited a long time and needed the room of a van not a suv. I won't ever rent from this location again. All my rentals will be thru an airport for now on. Don't waste your time with this rental place so many other better options in the area. Vehicles are dirty and they rent them out dirty. We picked up a van to go camping and received a van that was dirty inside and out and with animal hair, since we were going camping and they had just closed down for the day we decided no big deal and took the van anyways thinking that they knew the condition in which we received it. We were wrong now getting charged for dog hair when we don't even own a dog!
