Reservations : Simple web interface that transparently displays your cost and reservations. If you have any questions, give them a call on toll free phone line or email and they will answer right away. Pick up : Our pickup was tricky in that we needed a van after our cruise. Sunrise Van Rental delivered the van to the port of Miami. I don't think any other van rental agency does this. Big plus! We needed 2 boosters seats and one baby seat. They had this ready and installed for us when delivered. Usage : Van ran fine and worked like a charm. We drove all over Miami and down to the Beautiful Keys with this van. Incidentals : Our van was broken into on our first day of rental. We brought it on ourselves though by having luggage stacked to the ceiling and parking it on a side street. We called Sunrise to get a replacement van. They were very sympathetic and advise us to get police report. Then they asked us where we were staying so they can try to fix the lock or replace the van. Luckily they were able to fix the lock outside our hotel in 30 minutes and we were on our way. Drop off : We stayed at the Embassy by the airport. Sunrise came and picked up the van. Again I don't think any other van rental agency does this. Very polite and professional people. We were very grateful. Overall Experience : Fantastic rental experience with a team that knows how to deliver excellent service. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing van rental in Florida area. We will use them again for our next Florida cruise for sure. Thanks again Sunrise!

Of course, I was in no position to actually purchase a $150K car, so I decided to rent one for the day instead. I figured I'd get all the pleasures of driving without a pesky $1000 car payment devouring my wallet. I found out about Lou La Vie through a mutual friend and decided to reach out to them regarding renting a car. They had my car available on the dates that I wanted it and on top of it they were willing to help me out in terms of getting a great rate, so I reserved the car the same day. On our anniversary, I went to pick up the car with her in tow and was greeted by the president of the company, who helped me sign all the important paperwork and helped deliver the car. I was blown away by the attention to detail and level of service that they provided, offering to give us a tour of the car and mentioning a few hotspots in the local area that we should check out on our anniversary. They even brought out the car and helped us transfer some of the essentials that was in our vehicle and secured our vehicle in their garage. Lastly, they gave us some recommendations and important details about the car, such as functions they believed would be important to us. The car itself was absolutely brilliant. My driving mode oscillated between casually cruising and aggressively ripping through the gears, and the car never felt lackluster or unequipped to handle some truly spirited driving - like when chasing a sports bike along the 836. When we returned the next day to drop off the vehicle, it was surreal. There's this sinking feeling in your gut that you're going to go back to riding in something that drove about as well as you'd imagine a refrigerator drive, but there was also a burning feeling that this car and this experience with Lou La Vie had made me want to blow every paycheck at the chance to get behind the wheel of that beautiful machine once again.

Unfortunately, the car that I ultimately desired, the Aventador Roadster, was not available. It turns out this car is very hard to come by as no other companies had it either. So I opted, and wisely so, for the Huracan Spyder so that I could also enjoy a top-down experience. Ernie, who guided me through the verification and booking processes did a fantastic job of being thorough and courteous in ensuring all of the key steps were accomplished. Come Memorial Day Weekend, it turned out something fell through on another renter apparently, which meant I would be receiving the car a day earlier. The driver arrived in the car and right when both myself and my dad (I was visiting my folks) layed eyes on it we were blown away by it's exotic looks. Tyler, who was the driver, did a very nice job explaining all the workings of the car and giving me very good advice on the best modes to drive the car. To keep things short, the experience was amazing. The car drove phenomenally and was extremely precise, not to mention quite zippy in acceleration. I also loved the crackling sound coming from the exhaust when downshifting or letting off the gas just after accelerating in a lower gear. Needless to say, the car got an unbelievable amount of attention, especially given that area tends to have your cliche of corvettes, mustangs/camaros, and of course mercedes and porsches. No Lambos that's for sure. While I did incur overage on miles, due to 3 days of driving instead of 2, it was well worth it given I had a whole day free of rental charge. Return of the car was handled with no issue, and no other extra charges were assessed. As a result, I very much liked my experience with Diamond Exotics and want to thank them and everyone I corresponded with during the process to help make this an awesome memorable experience not only for myself, but also for my parents who now have a special appreciation for exotics.
