I only had problems with one Alamo in Washington state run by a local small family that tried to give us an EV when we said no, but other than that, no problems with Alamo. Checking out our car here at FLL airport location was a breeze with the online option (which we did from our browser prior to arrival); skipping the kiosks and lines entirely. We went straight to the lot, which was very well marked with clear signage and chose our mid-sized SUV that was very clean (Alamo cars are some of the cleanest I've found). We showed our ID/credit card and bar code and drove off the lot in less than ten minutes. I also liked the service at FLL Alamo because the agent at the check out was super nice, as was the agent I had to call when we got to our hotel because the garage was dark and I didn't see a minor car dent I had to phone in later. We returned our car at Cape Canaveral and although that Alamo was tiny, had no problems dropping it off. RETURN FACTOR: Alamo for No' Mo' hassle! Count me a loyalist from now on.

We didn't need a toll pass, but nice to have that option in the Sunshine State if needed. No penalty for turning in the car early when my husband had to catch his vacation short. Make sure to fill the gas before turning the rental back in. Plenty of gas station nearby. Tip: Stop at Pita Plus on the way back to the airport and pick up a falafel sandwich to go. It's a 10-15 minute drive from the Fort Lauderdale Airport. You will be glad you did.

I showed up and they don't have a premium car and they want to give me a Toyota Corolla for $5 less per day. They said they couldn't call to confirm my rental because I booked through Expedia. I let them know about my awful experience yesterday and how frustrating this was. I booked the car online as it was about $5 cheaper per day (despite not wanting to drive a full sized car after booking a premium). The manager, ZUBAER, told me he wouldn't rent to me now and to go to another car rental company. Because I said I was frustrated. I am not going to be extremely late and had to book at $80 uber one way to my destination. I will spend $300 today min on Ubers as I don't have time to stop to book another rental somewhere else. The manager could've taken the poor experience I had and them not having a car and made it way better but chose to tell me to "call an Uber". This is absolutely awful customer service. I have worked at enterprise and we valued customers business and their experience and I am never renting from an enterprise again after this experience. Things have gone extremely downhill for this company. Highly recommend going somewhere else.

We decided to take a chance and arrived at the desk at 9:30p.m. There was no line, and the agent--Dixia, who is from Honduras--was friendly and funny. I am genuinely appalled that I even have to leave a one-star review, because my experience with…read morethis company has been beyond unprofessional, misleading, and damaging. From the very beginning, this company has handled my account in a completely reckless and irresponsible manner. Months ago, I rented a vehicle from them that they provided to me with low tire pressure. I returned that same vehicle in the exact same condition -- with low tire pressure -- as I received it. No issues were ever raised at the time of return, no documentation was provided to me stating I owed anything, and I continued renting from them the very next week as if nothing was wrong. Fast forward months later, out of absolutely nowhere, they decided to send an alleged $400+ bill to a COLLECTION AGENCY and put it on my credit report, completely destroying my credit -- without ever making a real attempt to contact me. They claimed they had the "wrong email address on file," yet somehow, that same "wrong email" never stopped them from successfully sending me every other invoice I had paid for months. Funny how that works. What makes this even more outrageous is that I CONTINUED renting from them after this supposed incident. If I truly "owed" them money, why would they allow me to keep renting? Why was this never brought up? Why did they wait months to blindside me instead of addressing it in real time like a legitimate business? This was not a mistake -- this was negligence or worse. Now, fast forward to today, which brings me to my most recent and equally infuriating experience. I have been renting from this location on a WEEKLY basis for months as a corporate client, spending thousands of dollars with them consistently. Suddenly, out of thin air, they invented a "new policy" that supposedly requires you to bring a bank statement if you pay with a debit card. This requirement was NEVER mentioned before, never communicated in advance, and is nowhere to be found in their rental policies when you check what you are required to bring. They waited until I was standing there, ready to conduct business as usual, to spring this nonsense on me -- clearly using me as a guinea pig for their trainee instead of treating me like the long-standing corporate customer that I am. The manager, Kristen, handled the situation in the most unfair, condescending, and unprofessional way possible. Instead of resolving the issue or acknowledging that this policy had never been enforced before, she chose to double down and treat me like I was the problem. I was effectively used as a test case for her trainee's training rather than being treated like a paying, loyal customer. If this policy truly existed all along, why was it never required in any of my previous rentals? Why was I never asked for a statement before? The truth is, they made this up on the spot and chose me as their example. To make matters worse, when I called their customer service line, it was an absolute joke. The representatives were completely clueless, unhelpful, and seemed to have no idea what they were talking about. They couldn't explain the policy, couldn't clarify the situation, and offered zero real assistance. It was a complete waste of time. For a company that claims to serve corporate clients, this level of incompetence is shocking. I regularly put large amounts of money into their accounts, and instead of being treated with professionalism and respect, I have been blindsided with collections, made-up policies, and terrible customer service. This location is unreliable, poorly managed, and, in my opinion, operates in a way that is deceptive at best and damaging at worst. If you value your credit, your time, and your peace of mind -- do NOT trust this company. Have a backup plan, because they will fail you.
