So this is last time my friend and I rent through Enterprise! The last 5 times renting we made reservations and they did t have the vehicle! We rent often when company truck goes into shop or we take a weekend away! Today we called two hours in advanced to make sure they had our reservation and we were told yes we have two vehicles here but had to wait for them to get oil change! Got there at 5 and guess what no vehicle and the Silverado we were told was reserved for us was pulling out the yard! How is this good customer service especially from someone over the past year has rented 12 separate times and a couple of the times where for a month while our truck was in the shop! The lady at the counter got rude when we asked what they could do for us! She said they had a truck in Sunrise but we had to go get it! It's 5:30 in Fort Lauderdale and Sunrise is 20 miles away! Traffic in this area at 5 is no joke it takes 1hr+ to go ten miles! They have officially lost our business! There are many rental companies in South Florida that I'm sure would love our business!!!! read more

I normally have terrible experiences when renting cars-- this was surprisingly pleasant and easy. We arrive first thing in the morning and were greeted and helped by Tomas. I had reserved a premium SUV because I needed a lot of luggage space-- Tomas allowed us to check out all the larger vehicles they had on the lot. Check out was super smooth! Our return time was 8am and since they have a key drop box, I was able to return it in the night before so I didn't have to wake up early the next morning. Much appreciated! And they called the next day to confirm receipt and processing of the vehicle. I was very thankful and impressed! read more

My car rental was supposed to be paid for by Joey Accardi across the street while they did a warranty repair. When I returned the car, the woman said everything looked great with the rental and that my deposit would be put back on my card. OK great. A day later I checked my card and it there is a $50 charge pending, so I called enterprise and asked why and the man on the phone said oh, sorry, we will go ahead and credit you that amount. A week later I checked my card again and it was now a $100 charge instead of the 50 so I reported it to my credit card. they're not honest they don't do what they say. read more

I was using this rental car service while my car was being repaired and covered by the dealership I just got sent a toll bill for $150 a week later after they returned the rental. I called the location and they won't give me a breakdown of the toll invoice and told me their vehicles are not equipped with a Sunpass (I have a Sunpass on my vehicle the sticker kind) I wish they would've told me this when I rented the vehicle instead of rushing me out the door. read more

This enterprise was my final straw. Every time I've rented from an enterprise my experience has been nothing special. It usually gets the job done and I guess I'm just used to renting from them. However, this experience was AWFUL from start to finish. I'd like to address the assistant manager, Ricardo, and Rose, not sure her role. They lack personality and professionalism. I don't know who helped me rent the car but they didn't even have the car type I had reserved. I was told I had to wait for it and I waited no less than an hour. When I finally received it, it was filthy inside. The seats were stained, the windows were all smudgy, and dust filled the radio area. What in the world was I waiting for if it wasn't being cleaned? The vehicle I received blew hot air unless it was fully blasted, which was uncomfortable having the wind constantly blowing that loud and intensely. It's unacceptable in hot Florida weather. This caused the car to also begin to stink. I sprayed it down a bit to make it bearable which worked - just had to reapply here and there. Anyways, upon returning it is when my real issues began with Ricardo and Rose! I was charged a detailing fee of $250, when I received it in poor condition to begin with. I wish I took pictures, I just did not think they would actually put their faults on the customer. I explained the car wasn't $250 dirty AND I didn't even cause it! He basically told me there wasn't anything he could do because I had not complained prior. Maybe the perfume had worn off and they got hit with the stench. Who knows... just happy to be DONE with them. Rose just agrees with what her manager says so there will be no one to vouch for you. Had a reservation for Sunday 21 2023 at noon and get there and told they have no car . Ask why and was told it's in service needed oil change. I said I take anything and told they have nothing . Ask them to check other locations told that I would have to pay 3 times the amount of my current reservation. Said why would you not have them to honor my price he said different location they have their own pricing . I said enterprise is enterprise that makes no sense . Obviously the assistant manager didn't want to do anything to help. I ended up having to get car in wpb over 35 miles away and missed my event and plans that the car was intended for. ***BED BUG ALERT*** IN POMPANO BEACH ENTERPRISE On March 8th 2022, I brought my vehicle to Pompano Ford for service. They sent me over to Pompano Beach Enterprise as they offer loaner vehicles to Ford customers. And I was given a fairly new (not sure of the year) white Rav 4. The car smelled fresh (due to the many air fresheners they put inside) for the first 2 days. After the second day, the car began to smell immensely like wet dog. I figured, my car will be ready soon, no need to complain. Then I started noticing bites all over the back of my right arm and back, where my body touched the seat. Exactly where my skin was bare, from my racer back tank top. When the days went by and more and more would appear, I thought, maybe there are fleas in the car. I called right away to exchange vehicles. As soon as I sat at my desk at work, I see a bug crawling down my arm. To my HORROR!! It was a BED BUG!!!! I called Enterprise immediately and told them they can come and get their car. I had to leave work, as I was worried I could possibly have more on my person and spread them to my office. I went outside to the car to inspect it, and found TWO ADULT BED BUGS!! 1 dead on the drivers side and 1 alive on the back seat (WHERE MY CHILDREN SAT)!!! I HAVE THE PICTURES TO PROVE IT!!! I had to have an exterminator come to my home to inspect right away as bed bugs spread quickly. I had 2 inspections, to which I was told by both, there was no evidence of bed bugs in my home. I still felt it necessary to treat my home, as they are very good at hiding. The treatment for bed bugs is very intense!! The work, cleaning and bagging all of your belongings is basically like moving. I lost 4 DAYS OF WORK due to this. When I spoke with the manager, he told me that I would be compensated for having to treat my home. All I asked was to pay the exterminator bill and my supplies. (meanwhile I lost 4 days of work and ended up throwing out my MATTRESS to be safe!!) Me and my son also had allergic reactions to the chemicals used and were out of our house and living out of a bin for TWO WEEKS!!! Oh, I also lost my car seat because I did not want it back after it being in a BED BUG INFESTED CAR!!! I was told that I would receive the check in about a week. I gave it 2 weeks, went there and no check. I was told it will probably be mailed. Well here we are on April 26th and still nothing!!! I've called numerous times. Been told I'd be called back, and still NOTHING!! Been put on hold for an hour... and still NOTHING!!! SO NOW I AM ANNOUNCING THIS ON EVERY PLATFORM I CAN!!! AND I APOLOGIZE TO THE CUSTOMERS I DID NOT WARN... EVEN BEING IN THE ENTERPRISE BUILDING I WAS VERY QUIET ABOUT THE INCIDENT. The total I asked for in compensation was around $500 which didn't include the $800 pay $80 carseat $200 mattress I lost due to their negligence! Made a reservation they called to tell me that I would have to take an Uber over to their property if I wanted to rent a car I specifically made a reservation with enterprise because my car was in the shop and I could not get there why would I pay for an Uber to a location that offers free pick up service. The agent then proceeded to tell me that they did not have any cars and they were trying to get more and they would call me back it is now after 2 PM and they are closed they never made an attempt to call me back and let me know if I could pick up the car tomorrow. They then said to me that they were not sure if they could get any economy cars and that I would have to pay the difference to get a larger car. I have worked in the car rental industry for over 10 years and I am well aware that if my car that I reserve is not available I get a free upgrade to the next available size car and I even mentioned this to her on the phone and then she backed down and said oh well yes we could get you the next size car I was never called back and I am still without a rental car this is the worst rental car experience I have ever had with enterprise if you're thinking about using this location think again read more

It was a busy evening when I came in, but Justin and Anthony were working as quickly as possible while still staying positive and providing the utmost customer service to each and every individual in the room. I had made my reservation for the Plantation location, but they did not have any availability when I came in. I called another location to confirm availability, but Uber messed up and took me to this location instead. Once I explained my situation to Justin, he was very sympathetic and went above and beyond to help me. Again, I will reiterate that it was a busy evening. The room was packed with people here to pick up their cars, and some were getting angry and rude since they did not seem to understand the concept of waiting in line for their turn and that there is a bit of paperwork (well, I guess computerwork is the 21st century term) involved in picking up a car. If you come around closing time on a weekend, do not be surprised that it is busy. Instead of being turned away since my reservation was for another location and the availability of cars were tight, Justin took the time to help me and was able to find a car that fit my needs. On the return date of my rental, I called in the morning to ask a question, and Anthony picked up the phone and cheerfully answered. When I came in the evening to return my car, Anthony remembered that we had spoken on the phone. After returning the car, I spent over half an hour waiting for a friend to pick me up so during that time I sat and people watched. It was a busy evening near closing time again, but the staff were again doing a great job. Anthony was answering the phone just as cheerfully as he was in the morning. Another staff member, Shannon, was dealing with an extremely stupid guest who was frustrated that his reservation was not booked under his corporate rate. Shannon looked up his corporate rate and then very clearly explained in great details how and why the rate he booked is lower. The guy still insisted on getting his corporate rate so she switched it. The guy was not listening, because he then freaked out over the higher cost so Shannon again reexplained everything. The guest then asked a bunch of questions about how and why corporate rates work, and she answered all of his questions in great details until he was satisfied and finally left. I am not exaggerating that the interaction lasted about half an hour, and Shannon remained cheerful and as patient as a saint the entire time without losing her cool for even a split second. Never again! I am writing this on behalf of my father in-law who is not computer savvy! On multiple occasions he has rented from this location, each time they kept him waiting for 2 hours + for a car he reserved online the day before! Rather than waiting, we called ahead of time and they said the car was available. when we arrived not only did we wait in a line for 40 min but the car was not there and they told us we would have to wait another 45 min to 1 hour! The lack of service is appalling...no consideration for peoples time....basically the I don't care attitude shines through!!! if you rent from this location be prepared to wait! I just rented a vehicle for a week or two and the first one I was assigned was scratched up/paint was chipping/interior was stained/dirty. I asked for another vehicle and the AC has been hit and miss. A bit disappointed in the quality of the vehicle...but maybe that will convince me to go for the upgrade? Rental counter reps were friendly, but haven't returned my call regarding swapping the car out for something better. read more

This review is for a variety of Enterprise offices throughout the southern United States. When a business consistently exceeds expectations it deserves to be publicly applauded. We have dealt with a great variety of rental car companies as we widen our travel experiences. We have had good and bad experiences with almost as many. In all our experiences, Enterprise stands out well above the rest. The check in process always seems to be easier, the service at the desk is always exceptional, the pick-up feature of their business is exemplary and the cars are always clean...and often, we will be upgraded from say an economy rental to something far more grand. We are currently renting a compact in Pompano Beach and have booked one for Minneapolis and Rochester, and we have booked one for Seattle next month. As far as price is concerned there is no appreciable difference between Enterprise and all the other big companies. It's service which makes the difference. Enterprise does it right and they deserve plaudits for continuing to try harder. Good job! read more

My experience with this location was nothing like the other reviewer. I rented a Toyota Carolla from them for a week and it was a great car, very clean (except for when I returned it), and was practically new. The return was a snap too. I arrived at the Enterprise Rent-A-Car located at 330 South Federal Highway, Pompano Beach, FL on Sept. 27th at approximately 10 till 5 PM. When I walked in I was pleasantly greeted by Autumn who asked me if I was dropping off. I assume she saw paperwork in my hand and that is why she knew I was dropping a vehicle off and not picking one up. I said yes and approached her. There were two individuals sitting about 10 feet behind her at desks. I handed Autumn my paperwork and then said "I am going to need a ride to the body shop". Autumn said "do you know how far away it is"? I said "I do not know how far away it is but that Josh at the other Enterprise Rent-A-Car location had told me that as long as it was within a 10 mile radius of their location they would give me a ride". She Informed me that they would not give me a ride to the body shop if it was 10 miles away. I said "well that's a problem for me. I just drove 20 miles to get here and was told that I could get a ride to the body shop as long as it was within a 10 mile radius of your location". Autumn immediately became argumentative and started to argue with me, telling me "there are probably other enterprise locations closer to the body shop if it is 10 miles away from here". I looked at her and told her "you are wrong. Not about what you just said, but because you are arguing with me right now and I am a customer and the customer is always right." That is when a young lady named Abeo Manning who was sitting at the desk behind Autumn mumbled while laughing under her breath in a sarcastic and condescending manner "it would take an hour to drive you 10 miles this time of the day". Abeo had not introduced herself and seemed to find something comical about the situation. I said "I just drove 20 miles in 50 minutes. There's no fn'ing way it would take an hour to drive 10 miles." This young lady got up from her desk, approached me, asked me if "I still wanted to drop the vehicle off there"? I said "that is why I am here". She said "that's fine, but we're not giving you a ride". At that time I exited the building and called the Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Delray Beach, FL to speak with Josh. Josh had left for the day and a young man, I don't recall his name, answer the phone. He put me on hold for approximately 5 to 10 minutes. My phone was dying so I finally decided to hang up and give him a few minutes before calling him back. When I called him back he said he was working on the situation. I explained to him that my phone was down to about 5% and I didn't want to continue to stay on hold and run the risk of my phone dying. Before I knew it it was quarter till 6 PM. The body shop closed at 6 PM. I saw a Bru's Room across the street so I walked over there and a young lady was nice enough to allow me to plug my phone in as it was at only 2% battery life which would've left me with no way to communicate with the body shop, call my wife or anyone else. I reached out to the body shop and they were gracious enough to stay late, come pick me up and make sure I was happy with their service. There were two witnesses in addition to the Autumn and Abeo, the young lady who had acted so rudely, sarcastically, condescendingly and insensitively at the enterprise Rent-A-Car location in Pompano Beach. One was an employee by the name of Vince or Vincent and a customer by the name of Warren. I'm certain that you could locate Warren through Enterprise Rent-A-Cars data system as he was securing a rental car at approximately 10 till 5 PM when I had arrived and all of this occurred. Had the young lady conducted herself in a professional manner none of this would've happened. All she had to do was get up, introduce herself, offered to look up the body shops location and she would've realized it was only 2.2 miles away. I have NEVER in my 30 years as an adult encountered such unprofessionalism and been treated so poorly. It may not have been the first time I've experienced poor customer service, but this was heads and tails worse than anything I've ever experienced before. The sad thing about my experience was that when I had spoken to Josh earlier that day he asked me "how I would rate the service I had received"? I told Josh it had been spectacular! All of the employees lacked customer service but who really set me off was Josh. He was going to charge me double of what I was quoted over phone. And after telling me this he proceeded to help another customer over the phone for 10 minutes. When he was finally able to help me again it took much explaining how I had called and what the real quote for the car is. Luckily I had proof of my booking and got the cost back down. But the terrible customer service didn't stop there. I was told over phone I could get a car at 10:30. It was 11:20 and I asked how much longer they said they did not know and that it could take all day to get a car. Why then was I told I could get a car at 10:30? No one could answer me. I then left. They don't deserve my business or anyone else's until they can figure out customer service. This is the worst experience that I've ever had with a car rental company. The first day when I arrived i was told that they did not have an SUV even though it's what I reserved. I was offered a Corolla. After waiting 40 minutes to get hat information I was told that the Corolla wasn't on the property and it would be an additional 20 minutes. We ended up having to take a Lyft to our property. The next morning I received a call that a SUV was ready. As I type this I am still here. It has taken over 1 hour to even get a car. It is just coming out of the wash. The gentleman (I use the term lightly) who "assisted" is the night before did not have the decency to come outside and assist us today. Also, I have been promised over and over again that they would "take care of us". Apparently being taken care of means a free tank of gas. So, I'm still waiting because I'm hey can't seem to do paperwork in under an hour. This is not a good way to start vacation. They have wasted an entire day for us and severely hampered our plans. Apparently no manager is available today and calling corporate is not helpful. This is unacceptable. Avoid this place at all costs. This has been a truly awful customer service experience. read more
