The most nightmare occurred in the intersection while I was on my way to returning the rental car which had the battery issues few days prior but no one at branch recalled or concerned about the issue. Lauren the counter rental person was on duty has shown no sympathy not trying to called to checking in while I was left stranded since 11.30 am. until the toll truck finally arrived at 12.40 pm. Also the yo-yo back and forth between roadside assistance and the branch office had been completely frustrated on top of frightened situation I was putting in by trusted their supposedly well maintained cars that they put people into the road and that's why people renting at first place. They wanted me to call 911?!?! Once I finally get back all in one piece safely to the branch Lauren still has not be able to answer all my questions concerned just brushing onto another person Adam who wasn't there said that he would be contacting me!!! I reserved a car a couple of days before my trip and they said there were couple of options . When I went to pickup the car. There was only one option, a jeep, the car was the worst car we have ever driven. The back seats were horrible. Very uncomfortable. I never go back to Enterprise to rent a car. read more

I have never experienced such awful service or lack of accountability from a car rental company. I rented a Defender from Enterprise, and what I received was beyond unacceptable -- the car was filthy, reeking of cigarette smoke, and even had penises drawn on the sunroof. I was completely disgusted. When I brought it to the attention of the manager, Val, instead of apologizing or offering a solution, he arrogantly said, "We wouldn't ever give you a dirty car." That's it. No acknowledgment, no professionalism, no attempt to make things right. After pushing for a replacement, he finally agreed to "upgrade" me to a Range Rover Velar and told me it was bigger than the Sport -- which was a blatant lie. When the vehicle was delivered, surprise -- it was smaller and just as filthy. At this point, it's clear this location has zero standards for cleanliness, honesty, or customer care. They don't inspect their vehicles and they clearly don't train their staff to take responsibility. If you value your time, money, or even basic hygiene -- avoid this Enterprise at all costs. read more

Would not recommend at all. I got played and ripped off. Took advantage of a rental that was covered by my insurance and they took advantage of me not understanding the process. Even after double checking with the associate if I really needed to pay for insurance through them and being reassured to get it. What should have been a rental fully covered by my insurance they charged me $623.43 out-of-pocket This is on top of the $768.22 my insurance paid them. Please do your research and don't learn such a costly financial lesson like I did. Although the staff is polite, taking advantage of customers in this way is not necessary. read more

I am a frequent visitor to CA and always choose this location for my rental car. Staff are friendly and I am in and out of there in a reasonable amount of time. However, my last experience I want to make people aware of. Make sure they give you a vehicle with a full tank of gas. I was given a car with 1/4 tank and was told to return it the same. Not reasonable as I filled the tank and brought it back 3/4 full. No credit for basically giving them 1/2 tank of free gas. Just be aware. Next time I'll ask for a full tank. No reflection on the staff, they are great! read more

DON'T RENT FROM THIS LOCATION! unless you wanna wait a whole hour to get your rental, your rental agreement left open after returning it "by accident" and your card double charged "by accident" and wait a week instead of normal 2 days it takes to get deposit back then a charged for a toll that you NEVER took AFTER returning a rental then they gaslight you about it when you confront and check them on their bs then be purposely avoided by the store manager and treated as the problem and refused service. wouldn't be surprised if these 5 star reviews are from other/former employees or friends and also won't be surprised they pay yelp to remove my review. assistant manager and manager are horrible at their jobs Take your money elsewhere. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION!!!! They give FALSE information!!!! At the time we were renting the agent, I believe named Kira, said insurance will reimburse everything including the daily optional insurance for $25. She did not explain that our own insurance is sufficient and th Enterprise insurance is OPTIONAL. Mercury didn't reimburse us because they said the Enterprise insurance was optional. We talked to Kyle and Kira and they said they will follow up and they will refund for the false information they provided us. A few weeks later they both left the branch. The new manager Val ignored us and said he can't do anything despite us going back and forth for the past several months. Called customer service and they direct us to the branch. There is no district manager either. Their business is a scam with no one to take accountability. read more

Wow! What a terrible experience with this rental car place. The manager Alex Meza was extremely rude and unprofessional. I've been to multiple Enterprises throughout the years and can't believe what I've experienced! They let you book cars that aren't available and when you don't take whatever type of car they offer you Alex will disappear and help everyone else. No calling around to try and help. Not even a warning phone call letting you know the car you reserved is no longer available. Leaving you confused and stressed. A manager should be accommodating or at least apologetic. Not Alex! He thinks it's your fault that this rental place is out of cars. Not sure if this is a separate franchise but don't go to this location. Enterprise in Encino is terrible. Head to the one in Reseda where they have many cars and when out of stock will try to get a car from another location to help make up for there mistakes. read more

We made reservations 3 weeks in advance and the car was not available at the day of pickup. The office rep just said there is nothing I can do and moved on to the next customer leaving us with no car and didn't even care to find any replacement or solution. When I first arrived I was greeted by Manager Evelyn Romero she was delightful! Her interaction with customers was stellar!! She was helpful, extremely courteous, and very professional. Management skills second to none!! This location works very quickly to get you into a car and off. When I first contacted them to picked up, the driver was their within minutes. When I returned my rental car, I had been greeted and helped by Kiya Valentine, my experience was the same as with the Branch Manager. She closed out my billing very quickly, again with such excellent service! Helpful, polite, courteous, and professional! At this location they get it right!!! Zero stars if I could. I booked online directly from their website two days before a road trip. Even received a confirmation email from them afterwards. Got a call from them less than 24 hours before we are supposed to leave that they are completely sold out of the car I need. I will make sure that no one in my neighborhood, community group, church, etc. will ever rent from them. Please like and share this review. I Make a reservation and we could go for a luxury car and the branch in Reseda called me the day before to confirm that I'm coming to pick up my car I did confirm I got her in the morning and guess what they did not have a reservation for me they sent me to the branch on 17717 Ventura Blvd. and Kimberly pelmont refuse to take my Credit card because it was A bit broken on the corner and did not want to send me back to the other location make me walk this is disgrace I'm so upset never again renting from enterprise that was my only place to runt because of Kimberly never again. Well.. Where do I begin. I only like leaving good reviews, but I feel like I have to warn customers about this place. I recently rented a car from the this place. My insurance company directed me to this place and the body shop. I made all the necessary appointments and had all the proper authorizations sent to both Enterprise and Body shop. Btw the body shop was amazing. That will be another review, 5 star unlike this one. I dropped off the car monday morning at 8am. The lady at the Body Shop texted Enterprise to pick me up. I had set up an appointment at 9. The Body shop is 1 mile away from this location. It was raining so I did not want to walk. I had patients scheduled in my office at 10am. After waiting for 1 hour at the body shop, the cashier told me that it has never taken this long. She called them and finally at 920 the driver picked me up. A nice man that informed me that there was a mix up. I got to the the Enterprise at 925. Literally a 5 minute drive. There was a few people ahead of me so finally at 10 am I got to the front of the line. The young lady( Jocelyn) who is the branch manager was informed of the delay in picking me up and the fact that I have patients waiting in the office. She said that they are short handed and she was sorry. Ar 1015 I saw a woman drop off a white Kia, since it was raining the hand off was quick. She told me that she was going to give me that car. I was so late and so rushed that she walked around the car. I mentioned to her that the car has some damages on it and she said we are aware of those. This car had over 51,000 miles and a quarter tank of gas . not cleaned but a clorox wipe was in there so I could clean it since I literally saw the woman getting out of it 5 minutes before I got in. I got to work and hour late, missing my first 2 patients .The steering on the car was off but I drove it for a week, till my car got ready. I returned the car the next monday morning. Interestingly enough there was another young lady that helped me. She inspected the car for what seemed to be 10 minutes. Not the way Jocelyn inspected the car when I picked it up. She asked me to come outside and showed me a small scratch at the bottom of the rear passenger door. She said that that was not there. She said that they have to make a claim. I told them that I did not cause this damage. Once again I argued my point that fell in deaf and uninterested ears. She told me that the insurance had not paid and they will charge me 179 but it would be returned on my card. Well to no one surprise that 179 was actually 150.00 in an insurance claim deductible and taxes. My insurance company paid for the actual rental fees. So I paid 179 dollars for damage I didnt cause, waisted over 2 hours picking up a car, that had 52, 000 miles with bad steering and damages all over, and the worst service I have gotten in 56 years on earth. Beware!!! After returning my rental to the manager I believe her name was Racheal she inspected the car for damages and than started looking underneath the car for scratches. In the beginning I thought it was a joke and than she proceeded to say "oh you have some scratches and stuff should cost about 1-2 thousand . It took me a while to understand she was serious. After explaining to her that our family has a body shop and there is no damages and why would she just throw numbers like that she kinda took it back . She than proceeded to say she will send it to the body shop and I would need to talk to my insurance to see what my deductible was! Being very aggressive! This is a straight SCAM!!! Unbelievable people will try to take advantage at these difficult times and look for problems that don't exist! I will be uploading pictures and talk to corporate since I got a call today form my insurance agent. I also will be taking them to small claim. Came here at noon while my car is in the body shop for the next four days. George picked me up and was very friendly. We got back to that location, they looked up my reservation took me out to the lot to pick out a car. Car was freshly washed still had wet drops on it. We went around the car saw what we needed to, showed me where the gas tank was and I was on my way. It's a very small location compared to the usual enterprise I usually use whichI use which is on Reseda, but much closer to my house. I would recommend them and hopefully all goes well for the next four days driving my Nissan Versa. Lol. read more

Less that 24 hours before my trip. I have family flying in and no way to take them to my destination because if Enterprise. The agent there was completely unhelpfully and just said he was being proactive in telling me that I would be on the waiting list. Terrible customer service!!!! I hate that I have waited this long to write my review about my experience here. But it MUST be written so that guest are aware of the manager at this location. I made my reservation for my car through enterprise in March 2018. I arrived to LA in May 2018, the weekend of Memorial Day. During this time I did NOT received any information, email or phone call from the staff of Enterprise regarding a change in their holiday time. I did however receive a follow up phone call the day before from a kind young lady to confirm my reservation. Even so during this time she did not mention a early closing of their location. My reservation was set for Wednesday to Monday, and as we were in the process of completing the paper work the manager says very nonchalant " we will be closed on Monday for the holiday". I replied with ok, so my flight leaves on Monday and I scheduled my car until Monday. So what exactly does this mean for me? He replies with, oh you'll need to have it back by Sunday. At this point I was SUPER CONFUSED because my flight was expected to leave at 10:00pm on Monday night, and if I returned my car on Sunday I wouldn't have a Cecile for a full day. Then he says it has to be back Sunday by 12:00pm. I stopped him and said, " no that won't work that two days without a car that I reserved until 4:00pm on Monday. No where and no one explained this information to me of your closing nor was it indicated on your website. He proceed to say well you can keep it until Monday and return it at the airport for $75. EXCUSE ME! Was my reply in full shock, that he would make that suggestion with me paying additional for their error. He provided two solutions that would not assist me at all. My best friend asked if we could drop it off on Monday and leave the keys in a drop box. He said no because they don't have drop boxes. I said ok well someone's going to have to figure something else out because I need my car at the rate I requested online and for the days I scheduled. This man was so rude to us it wasn't even funny! My best friend then asked if she dropped it off on Tuesday would their be an additional charge. He said yeah you can do that and maybe Uber back. UBER! Then we would still be paying for your error, isn't enterprise known for the pickup/drop-off service? He said well I'll make an exception for that. Mindful this wasn't even his suggestion that he was trying to make. I will NEVER rent from this location again, and I fly to LA quiet frequently. read more

I didn't pay for my rental car, so take my review with a grain of salt. My experience with Enterprise was the most pleasant I've had with a rental car service. It was all covered by the insurance company of the woman who rear-ended me, so I'm sure they were ripped off, but I didn't feel it. I declined any upgrades or insurance that the employee tried to sell me, and she wasn't insistent. I got a white Prius for $34 a day. I suppose that was a little steep for what they claimed was the cheapest car in the lot, but no matter. Service was friendly and there were no lines when I picked up or dropped off the car. I liked the Prius and loved the low gas cost. It didn't have GPS and the automatic key was broken. It was pretty annoying to have to pull out the little spare key every time I wanted to lock and unlock the car, but it was a minor inconvenience. I had the car for two and a half weeks, and somewhere in the middle Enterprise contacted me just to see how I was enjoying it. Long story short, the best way to enjoy a rental car service is for free. Still, this Enterprise provided a decent car and good service, so it deserves some stars for that. read more
