First, I've never had a bad experience at this location when I rented a car myself. I always rent…read moreweeks in advance and do a pre check-in. Today was different. I arrived @ the Beavercreek location @4:55. I was greeted as usual with a cheery "we will be right with you." As I was waiting, I overheard the attendant tell someone "I'm sorry, we've got no more cars available for walk-ins" By the time they called "next" three other people had entered behind me. The female attendant was waiving someone up who had entered after me, so the customer said "I think he was next". Then another customer piped up and said "I actually think this lady got here before him" (she was seated when I got there and I didn't know she hadn't been helped). That was all good as she did arrive before I had. The attendant then said "let me get all your id's so I can call your name in order". She proceeded to take my id and the 3 people who had entered after myself. After they had called the lady in front of me, they called the person who had walked in after me. I'm sorry, in the 3 minutes you were answering I phone call, how did you forget I was supposed to be next? This time, that person didn't say, "I'm sorry, he was next" They just stepped up to the counter to be helped. The next available attendant then called me up. "I'm sorry sir, we've got no more cars available". What!? My insurance sent my reservation hours ago. "Sorry, sir it only showed up for us recently." (BS) "You're going to have to come back tomorrow." WELL I'M SORRY, I DON'T HAVE TIME TO COME BACK TOMORROW. Now, I'm stuck without a car for 2 more days having to get rides to and from work. Enterprise knows the first hour and last hour of their day is the busiest. Why have someone wait for a half hour only to tell them you don't have a car for them. Seinfeld was right! Anybody can TAKE a reservation, not anybody can KEEP a reservation. tldr: If your insurance company rents you a car, call ahead and make sure they are actually going to keep one on the lot for you.

I have gotten screwed twofold by enterprise in two days. First by employee in Denver- they found…read moremy car keys in a rental my friends and I were in. They refused to give my car keys back to my friends/family for them to overnight the keys to me. (I was already on flight back to Ohio when they were found.) They said because I was not there- they couldn't give my keys to my friends who I did the rental with he did however take my address and info from them- and never called or reached out to me. Instead he gave them the generic #to call lost and found. Between 12/11 and 12/12 I spent 6+ hrs getting the run around with their lost and found department. $50 and about 1,000 gray hairs later after being directed to links that say, "error 404 website not found" and then later an email saying my items have not been found. Only to relentlessly lookup different emails and trying other #s for customer service to escalate the situation... Magically my keys were found and I had to pay to overnight them (which I guess is fine) but I had to land from that flight and leave my car at CVG accruing still over $24/day in parking fees everyday it's there. Which brings me to this location (I should have been wiser after the lost and found debacle but this rental car location was closest) I booked a car yesterday for first thing in the morning today so I can drive to CVG and get my car out of the parking garage with my spare key/drop the rental car at the airport. This as about $25 cheaper than getting a ride share from centerville to GVG. Well I had an Uber on the way to take me to enterprise at opening to get the rental and get this all taken care of,... nope. I just had someone from the location call and say essentially ," we don't have any cars to rent." So I had to cancel the Uber that was taking me up to enterprise.... and now have to consider just paying around $100 to ride-share out to CVG instead of the $73 I had been quoted for the rental. Why would they take my info and allow me to book yesterday afternoon- when they didn't have any vehicles available today for rental?! Their customer service/ lost and found department, and this branch have seriously missed the mark. I feel like helpless, powerless, and now kinda abused by enterprise, and will never utilize them again especially when there are so many other competing agencies out there. I feel like I have just been stuck in a robotic telephone automated nightmare and would like to spare others from this horror.
