We got married at the Oviatt Penthouse on 02/11/17 and I am so sorry for how late this review is!! We were introduced to Ensemble Events when we booked JJ The DJ who came highly recommended by the Oviatt. By far booking JJ was the best decision we could have made and he put us in contact with Trisha at EE who offered us an unbelievable package deal which included a photo booth. I requested Valentines props and a last minute microphone stand and they made it happen, no questions asked! Thank you Trisha, JJ and Mimi at Duck Duck Booth for the amazing work they did to make our wedding day so memorable and so much FUN! We were so grateful for the smooth communication and quick response times throughout the stressful planning process. We will definitely be recommending them to our friends and family for weddings or for any special occasion. As a wedding coordinator I was extremely picky with the vendors I chose for my own wedding and the first person that came to mind for my DJ was JJ. I have witnessed JJ at other weddings and he is hands down the best DJ I have worked with but to be on the other side as a bride, dancing with my husband and friends, I was beyond happy that he worked my wedding. His timing and energy are right on, he gets the crowd going with the best music choices. He also follows great direction - I asked for country music at dinner time and I got it. The rest of the night was fist pumping, booty shaking, jumping up and down perfectly mixed dance music. I also have to commend his team. I corresponded with Trisha throughout the whole planning process of my wedding. She was great with emails and answered every and all questions promptly. I felt important and taken cared of and that is so important when you are planning the most special day of your life. I highly recommend The Ensemble Events team for any event!!! read more

Ensemble Events provided the photobooth and lighting for my wedding reception at Hotel Maya in Long Beach. I couldn't be happier with my decision! Trisha and JJ's team are so easy to work with. All the services went on without a hitch and its such a relief to work with reputable and expereinced vendors. For the photobooth --- I picked the ultimate package (at such a great value!), it includes all night photo session, premiere props, scrapbooking materials, and a USB drive of all pics. I received the scrapbook on the night of and it was hilarious to see all the pictures taken by our family and friends. For the uplighting -- we have an upgraded, wireless LED and a "smart" light for the dancing part. All in all, the reception was a blast --- thanks to Ensemble Events! read more

We just had our wedding 08/08/15... and my wife and I are so happy on the quality of work the Ensemble Events team brought to our special day... Starting from our awesome DJ/Emcee LEO... he kept everybody dancing.. great at reading the crowd... plus really professional and kept everything right on schedule... our deal even had a L.E.D technician who would control our up lighting and kept the room looking good... Our Photo booth was awesome... I recommend getting it custom made... it's worth the money.. a special thanx also to the girl assisting on the photo booth... sorry forgot your name... but she was super nice... shout out also to Trisha.. their sales manager/customer service.. she handled all the details and kept on constant communication with me so that their service would be to my satisfaction... overall, we had an awesome wedding.. and I know the Ensemble Events team was a big part of it... THESE PEOPLE ARE AS GOOD AS IT GETS! I've heard so many DJ horror stories from not playing the right songs, to playing their own mix. So, it was only natural for me to be extra cautious for hiring a DJ for my wedding. I called a few DJ's before calling JJ The DJ and not only were their prices ridiculous, but they didn't seem to understand what I wanted at the wedding. I finally called JJ the DJ and they got it right away. What's so hard about early 00's - 2010 hip hop songs?? I also wanted some old school like Sir Mix A Lot. It's like they read my mind. Not only was I getting excited just describing to them what I wanted, but they were getting excited too! They got DJ Drew to come out for our wedding, and I couldn't be happier! I LOVED EVERYTHING HE PLAYED! Couldn't stop dancing!! Not only is their music taste good, but also their service! I kept in contact with Trisha up to the day before the weddnig, and she made everything so easy for me. She was very prompt with her emails, and reassured me that everything would be awesome. Ensemble Events helped coordinate our photo booth for our wedding. We got married on a boat, so the space and timing of everything needed to be very particular. JJ, Trisha and all the staff were very helpful and proactive in helping us stay on top of all photo both related details in preparation for our wedding. We actually hired them because we saw them at another wedding, where they were booked with the DJ. That wedding was also very well done. Communication with JJ was easy, smooth, and professional from the initial research stage to the day of the wedding. We had a super special photo shoot on our 20th Wedding anniversary at the Chapel of Orange (formerly Chapman Chapel). We were at the Chapel literally at the time of our anniversary, and JJ helped us re-create (and reimagine) some extra special poses from our wedding day, plus several other poses in the updated chapel grounds. We booked a Photobooth for our daughter's 2nd birthday. It was a Minnie Mouse Luau theme and Trisha custom designed the Photobooth props and print logo to go with theme perfectly. The added guest photo book was such a nice touch. The staff was all very nice and professional. I've booked photobooths thru many different companies in the past and Ensembles events set up, props, and photo strip is of much better quality. Wow, where do I start? I just had my wedding over the weekend, and used Ensemble Events for DJ and photo booth. JJ and Trisha were so awesome to work with! JJ played all the songs we requested, he was organized, prompt, always available, so easy to talk to!! The photo booth was a hit! It comes with a scrap book with a copy of each photo plus usb that includes all photos. They have great packages and you will NOT regret using them. A lot of things went wrong with some of the vendors that day, since weddings can't be perfect, but Ensemble Events delivered all my requests and I was very pleased. My husband and I live in Alaska, and we held our reception in Los Angeles with minimal time available in LA to finalize the details.
