I got married in April this year at the Houdini Estate on a rainy day and JJ the DJ was my favorite vendor! We used Ensemble Events to book JJ as a photographer for our engagement and wedding shoots we absolutely loved the whole experience! Booking and coordinating with Trisha was super easy. She was very responsive and helped us make sure every was set for our engagement shoot. During our engagement shoot JJ made us feel very comfortable and we had a lot of fun. JJ the DJ at Ensemble Events is an absolute dream come true with his work. JJ had asked us a very simple question prior to our wedding event on 11/14. He asked, "What do you want your event to be like?" We had answered that we don't want guests to feel like they're "waiting around," also that we want for everyone to be dancing. Exceptional DJ and Photobooth services! Trisha is my new hero when it comes to promptly responding to any forms of communication; within an hour of emailing her, she would always respond back! I booked both services for my wedding and worked with Trisha and DJ Drew to customize my event. The photobooth service was your typical awesome photobooth -- lots of fun props, beautiful backdrop, unlimited photos, and also included a scrapbook that my guests filled out! Drew was my ceremony and reception DJ and he couldn't have been a more perfect fit. I am an EDM junkie who goes to more EDM shows than actual movies and I really wanted my reception to be a fun, rainbow-colored dance party in a palatial mansion. Everything was EDM -- from my ceremony, the cocktail hour, the dinner, and the dancing. Drew masterfully created a playlist based on my initial shortlist of song selections. No matter how obscure the song I requested (Gareth Emery "Hands", Chris Metcalfe remix, anyone?), Drew either knew the song or knew where to get it and to play the extended version for maximum untz. I was even told he played Sandstorm! Timing was actually important for a lot of my songs (dat bass drop), and Drew worked with me so we were in sync when I needed to do my Grand Entrance right at the bass drop for a song, or that I needed to start walking down the aisle at a certain point in the melody. Sound quality on the speakers they provided were crisp and clean even with all the untz and my audiophile/amateur DJ husband really appreciated the quality of their equipment! read more

We used Ensemble for our wedding in Irvine, California a couple of weeks ago. From the beginning, they were highly communicative, responsive, and pleasant to work with. Trisha, the coordinator, was able to answer all of our questions and then some! She always got back to us promptly, and did a great job letting us know well in advance what information they'd need to make our day special. We used JJ for our DJ; he was simply wonderful. We saw him in action at a friend's wedding about a year ago, and knew that we wanted him to DJ at ours. He does a great job in keeping things upbeat, moving, and keeping people on the dance floor--which he did at both weddings we've been to with him now! He did a great job as emcee, engaging the guests when needed but otherwise letting things flow on their own. He's an obvious professional. We also used the photobooth from Ensemble, which was a big hit. They brought everything they needed, from props to the background to printing supplies. Trisha helped us figure out what design we wanted on the photos ahead of time, and then worked with us to make it happen. On the day of the event, she was there to make sure things ran smoothly and to operate the photo booth for people. Each set of pictures prints two copies...one for the guests to keep, and the other they made into a photo book. Trisha placed the photos in a book and then had guests sign next to their photos. It was a great keepsake for us to have after, and so great to see everyone enjoying themselves through the pictures. I had the best experience with Ensemble Events when planning my wedding. I was able to hire 3 vendors in one so it took the stress of wedding planning right out of my hands. First and foremost, we hired JJ to dj at our wedding. His ability to create the perfect playlist for your wedding is impeccable. He played everything we requested for the ceremony and cocktail hour and added songs he knew would get our guests out on the dance floor and moving. We received so many compliments about him. Trisha, the booking manager, was great with communicating with us and returning any emails or phone calls in a timely manner. I really feel like she took good care of us and kept us in the loop about everything. We also booked Duck Duck Booth as our photo booth vendor. The props were cute and our guests loved having their pictures taken. We were even given a photo book with each strip of pictures along with a note from our guests. It was such a wonderful gift and keepsake. They also provided the uplighting at our reception, which really brought the room to life and gave it such a great ambiance. Finally, Ensemble Events introduced us to our amazing photographer Ron Alan Cruz. We booked our engagement photos with him and were so impressed that we didn't have one worry when it came to the quality of our wedding photos. Our wedding was on 05.19.18 and we booked Ensemble Events in 2016! We used EE for their DJ, photobooth and uplighting services. Adding uplighting last minute happened without a hitch (literally the week of the wedding)! Trisha worked closely with us the entire process - setting up appointments with JJ (the DJ) and answered any questions I had about the photobooth/sound planner. Their photobooth props were perfect for us since we are disney fans! They have a selection of backdrops for you to use, but we opted for the brick wall in our venue and they picked the perfect spot to set up their camera! I love the idea of the open booth; none of our guests looked crammed together in the photos. They also offer a scrapbook with supplies for guests to leave their photo strips and write something. Uplighting was such a perfect touch. We chose a blush pink and it totally accented the brick wall. They set everything up for us and we had to option of adjusting our lighting to make it brighter or softer. Lastly, JJ! We wanted a mix of everything - oldies to 80s/90s to today's hits. He did it all! We chose our own ceremony music, we discussed our sound planner with him the week of the big day and there were no issues. JJ is a fantastic Wedding DJ and Emcee! We were married in March 2018 at the Oviatt Penthouse. JJ was very informative and professional as we were planning our wedding. Ensemble Events did a great job at our wedding. JJ kept things moving and had a crowded dance floor the entire event! Trisha is professional and accommodating, and always very quick to respond to requests or inquiries. JJ is personable and makes for an enthusiastic emcee. The amber uplighting Trisha recommended for our venue was beautiful. I recommend checking in before the ceremony on the day of to ensure any particular requests from the sound planner you fill out. I had requested a particular Jack Johnson song for our procession thinking it meant family and bridal party, but JJ ended up playing a classical song for the family entrance and then the requested song for the bridal party only. It didn't bother me too much, but I would've preferred to specify my request before the ceremony. Just a simple miscommunication that could've been avoided had I checked in before the event instead of only relying on the paper. Overall, great service and a fun night! read more

We had Duck Duck Booth/Ensemble Events at our wedding last weekend (12/30/17), with their fun filled photo booth and amazing lighting. Trisha was so easy to work with and on top of everything.
