If you've got time to kill in the airport, this is the place to do it. I recently treated myself to a toenail polish change and a manicure, and, while the service itself wasn't superb, I'd do it again. Here's why... -There are plenty of polish colors to choose from. -They are efficient, and able to get the job done in a jiffy. -Hydrate with a glass of water (they've got a pitcher of fresh water near the massage area). -You can kick back (literally, there are ottomans) and let those fingers or toes dry in the sunlight near the windows and soak in the scents of lavender and peppermint from the massage therapists. -Sample some of the local cuticle oil or hand lotion near the registers. I wouldn't opt in for a pedicure because there are no foot baths or massage chairs. If I'm going to get a pedi, I want to go all-in! read more

I stopped in for a gel manicure when my flight was delayed the other day. It's a really cute spa! Everyone was really, really nice. I'd say my nails look "fine". It's not the best manicure I've ever gotten and it's not the worst! The price is steep, though, friends. $60 for a gel mani and then you have to tip on top of that... but I guess that's airport prices!! read more

On top of that she has a weird grunt that is more habitual than actually effort being out into the massage. I passed this place while I was in the AP my flight wasn't for like 4 hours. While reading the menu outside I was approached by a women and she was soliciting me to come in. I wanted to anyway but didn't like that she was sort of bullying me into it. While I was there I saw her do it to several other ppl. I feel like if someone wanted to come in let them make the decision on their own. The harassment wasn't needed. even some ppl that seemed like they were second guessing it she was finding ways to make them stay. The other thing I didn't like about this is it kept all the technicians very busy with no break. I'm all about customer service but that sort of made me feel bad. My exp: I got a pedicure that was a little expensive but for an AP w/e. However, it was great. I could have gone to sleep. I had this awesome technician Wendy. She was very sweet and super nice. I paid $42 for a 25 minute massage here, and I'm fairly certain the woman wasn't even. Certified massage therapist. She randomly dug her elbow into my back in all different places, and occasionally it felt like she was slapping my neck (I think this was her idea of "more pressure"). As someone who gets massages often, calling this a massage is a stretch. I actually am in more pain than when I started because i kept tensing up as she just found places to dig in her elbow. I've stopped twice now. Once for a full body massage and pedicure, then afterward for an upper body massage in the sitting position. Both massages were worth the cost and convenience to me. Two different massage therapists both seemed to know what they were doing...I sure felt a whole helluva lot better when they were done. I would pass again on the pedicure. I always check the clock just to make sure right before I get started with a massage. The clock said 5:52pm before she got started and she ended at 6:08pm. I am not exaggerating at all. Not worth it. $37 (without tip) for 20 min foot massage and the service is lacking. No nice chairs or lotions, employes just talk freely and loudly while you're trying to relax. The receptionist's rude attitude (she was obviously in a rush to go home at 630) was off-putting. She told me I had time for a table massage, she didn't want to talk to me about services, then the therapist had to eat, then I didn't have time for a table massage because the receptionist had to leave. I basically live in airports, so I am always looking for things to do to pass the time. When I first saw these little spas popping up in the terminals, I was a little hesitant... first, I never really was into massages, and then I figured they probably wouldn't be all that good anyway... I mean who wants to work in an airport? Well, I got over it, and started checking these places out... and I am glad I did, because more times than not, I end up leaving very refreshed and completely relaxed. When I stopped at Enroute Spa in the Indy airport, I was a little worried at first because the girl that greeted me had an attitude that made it quite obvious that this was the last place on earth she wanted to be. She handed off my 15 minute back massage and subsequent foot massage to one of her co-workers (thankfully, or else this review may have gone differently). Troy took over from there and did an awesome job... he worked out some tight knots in my back and took care of my feet. By the time I made it to my flight, I felt like a million bucks! This sure beats sitting on the floor at the gate with my iPod plugged into a wall counting down the hours until my connecting flight. BOTTOM LINE: Not bad for an airport spa, ask for Troy. read more

Amazing. Amazing. Amazing. I've been to a number of spas and massage spots (both western and eastern) and I have to say, Sarah (I think that was her name? She's the gorgeous therapist with some awesome tatoos) worked wonders. I have an immense amount of stress and knots through my neck, shoulder and back, and she's the first therapist who has ever been able to soften the knot in my right shoulder after just a 45 min session on the table. She's not afraid to apply the pressure and helps you endure by coaching your breathing. The only reason why I gave it 4 instead of a 5 is for the noise--which I don't think they have any control over and is not too terrible, but if they put in a sound proof door, that might help? I travel a lot and I'm planning on laying over here in the future to have Sarah work on me again. read more

The supervisor wrongfully fired me. It would be so busy that the supervisor would tell me right as I walked in to get the next customer and that she would sign me in. I was always on time and never late. They tried to tell me the reason I was being let go was because I was late 14 times. Liar liar. I had a fantastic job making great money. Maybe even more than the supervisor. I was very good at my job and actually went to school for Massage and passed my state exam. They have had the same person there for 10 years that has no schooling under her belt and no massage license but because my supervisor didn't like me, I was let go. After searching for my calling and getting awesome grades at Harrison college and having more experience then the manager. I still have a lot of anger about this girl having me fired for something I didn't do and working my butt off at school and at work. I know it's not the owners fault but the supervisor who stole my best life from me because she had more authority and obviously no remorse for anyone else but herself. If anyone would have been fired it should have been her. Her having me fired mentally messed with me. read more

Hit or miss. Either a fantastic or bizarre experience. The last two have been poor and bizarre. There are a few really good masseuses but they aren't always working or my flying dates don't match theirs. The last two times the two were weird, lazy and clearly untrained. Sarah did a great job getting the knots out of my shoulder and back. Just the right amount of pressure and she can get intense if you can take the added pressure. Afterwards get a dose of bio freeze to go. It's a great way to help calm your muscles down. Pricing is better than most airports so that's another plus! read more

My flight got delayed so got a pedicure at Enroute spa in Indianapolis airport. The girl who did my pedicure was very sweet but everything is rushed, their acetone cleaner left white marks on my toes. I actually felt like my feet looked worse. She did multiple coats & it took forever to dry. One of my toe polish smudged, so she redid that toe (very nice of her) but the color didn't match the other toes (see the pic). Their chair is horrible, my legs hurt after the pedicure coz there's no support for my legs.. They have only 1 fan to dry toes (that blew cold air while temps here are -8 outside), so she had to take it to use it for another customer. ive gotten better pedicures for $45. Don't waste your money, it's not at all worth it. read more

I arrived early for a flight and didn't have time to get a mani or pedi beforehand. Fortunately, Donna at Enroute fixed me up so I could wear my sandals without shame! The services are a bit pricey, but it's an airport, so everything's pricey and you pay for convenience. It was totally worth it. Only thing is to allow at least 10 minutes of drying time for a mani/pedi. I had the best time chatting it up with Donna! Why would I get my nails done by someone who wasn't interested in doing them? She couldn't even get out of her chair or act friendly. I walked away. This place was Horrible. Told the lady I had 20 minutes maximum but she was in the twilight zone for sure. After 25 minutes I had to just get up and split. The massage was a joke with no pressure and no use of hands, only her forearms and some light elbows. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. I had a long wait before my flight at the Indianapolis airport so I decided to get a Mani pedi at enroute spa. I expected the prices to be high so it's no surprise that the "fast track" Mani was $22 and pedi was $40, I had requested the "easy layover" which was more expensive but offered extra massage and cuticle work. I actually just received the fast track and wouldn't recommend the extras since the cuticle work is all done by a wooden push stick. Apparently Indiana laws don't allow cutting, which California does. The manicurist was very nice, but unfortunately I think I could have done a better paint job on myself. Just arrived at the airport, with a long delay, my daughter and I decided to get 1 manicure and a ManiPedi combo. The Nail Tech tried everything possible to no service us. There was a "line" and it would be a while. Then she advised she could do a quick mani and polish change, then let the male go (who was getting a massage) and then do my daughters Mani/Pedi. When she discovered I had gel polish - she said she could not do it. Literally was so rude that I decided that I could find a person at my destination that would do a good job for way less money. They were going to earn a quick $150 - but decided to give every reason that she could not do it. No other employee attempted to make the situation any better. I fly in and out of IND at least 50 times a year (I am a business traveler), and EnRoute did not just loose my business today. I will never return to this "spa". read more

I just had a massage in route spa at IND from an older Asian massage specialist. She was all over the place with the way she does the massage and only did my back without arms or anything else. It was not really a massage, but not sure what to call it. I do not believe that she had any actual degree in professional massage (although she claimed otherwise) and I can probably give a much better massage. Update: the masseuse came to me shortly after the review and insisted on refunding the money which I thought was nice of her. read more

really disappointed on a visit there this week. the therapist was nice enough but wasn't very good giving massages. Touch was too light. I like deep tissue massages and while I pointed out exactly where a knot needed to be worked on, the massage was ineffectual and weak. Even though the therapist kept saying she could feel the knot being reduced in size, i didn't feel any change at all and left after a 30 minute massage with the knot, same size and same pain. read more

My granddaughter and I stopped in the Enroute Spa at the Indianapolis airport. My granddaughter needed a touch up on a manicure she had gotten elsewhere. The lady promptly helped correct the manicure mistake and even found a matching polish to touch up the nail. She smiled and told my granddaughter that was her good deed of the day. Had a 2 hour layover and stopped by for a 30 min massage. After finally getting signed in they told me it would be a 30 min wait. That would leave me 1 hour to catch my flight. After 45 mins of waiting 2 of the employees left leaving 1 worker and myself still waiting. Finally had to leave to catch my flight without a massage. When I asked the counter lady about the continued delay her response was it was break time and the lady before me decided on a longer massage so I would just have to wait or leave. Was just what I needed during my extended layover at the Indy airport. Flight was delayed and neck/shoulder bothering me. I was able to get in for a 30 min chair massage. Not the best massage I've had, but I was happy. The girl who massaged me was nice and pleasant. Pressure was good on shoulders. She could have dug in more with rest of back and upper neck. Overall though I was pleased. If I was a regular, id be more specific with how I like my massages. But good considering I was a passing guest!!
