We were prompted greeted by Tina and shown around the spa and to our lockers. In the ladies locker room area, there are showers, a sauna, and a steam room. We got there early so we could enjoy the pool and other amenities. Unfortunately, when we arrived there were hotel guests in the pool, including children. That's not all that conducive to relaxing unfortunately so we didn't get in the water at all. Tina also helped us order a lovely lunch from Capitol Grill and took overall very good care of us while we relaxed and waited for our spa appointments. The services: Both of us had nice services but honestly both felt we had had better for various reasons. My esthetician was good and did a very nice job but I had added on a leg scrub. The leg scrub was great but it came At the sacrifice of the hand and wrist massage you might typically get. My friend's service was good but was slow to start and the provider had some clumsiness issues and dropped items on the floor creating loud noises. The only thing that was really "bad" was the temperature of the atrium area/pool and hot tub area. It was HOT in there. It was so warm in there that we just couldn't force ourselves in the hot tub or the sauna/steam room. Tips: 1. there is street parking, which is free on Sundays 2. When you walk in, go closer to the check in desk to the second set of elevators and the spa is on the 6th floor 3. There is cold water and some cold towels in the Gym on the same floor.

It has a white drapey interior with bubbling water fountains, but doesn't go overboard. I was given a facial by Sandra, who owns the spa. She is warm and focused. She offered me tea (from Hubbard & Cravens which is HQed in the neighborhood) and made sure I was comfortable, positioned a pillow under my knees. Then she got to work. Anyone who's had a deep facial knows the true test of a good facialist is their technique with extractions. This is where they actually clean your pores one by one, and it's never comfortable. At worst it's as painful as a bikini wax. Enough said. Sandra's extraction technique was very respectable. She was quick and gentle. The facial also included an eyebrow wax - she's good at that too. And the whole facial was $75 - very reasonably priced. I'll be back the next time I need a little pampering - or when the seasons change again (whichever comes first).

I had two massages at another spa in Indianapolis and still was in constant pain. A friend recommended this location and I'm so glad she did! I live in broadripple but had never come across this spa. I was able to schedule a sports massage for the following afternoon. I let the masseuse know about the pain I was experiencing and she made sure I was open to cupping which allows the blood to flow more to the area. I was open to anything as long as it provided relief. During the massage she could tell how the muscles in the right side of my back were swollen and apparently I was a little tight on the left as well. I felt instant relief after the massage and finally had a full nights sleep since the pain began. She worked wonders and this will now be my spa of choice! Looking forward to booking my next massage! I explained the situation and they refunded it promptly. I'm very disappointed to see that Michelle hasn't removed her offer from Groupon. It's impossible to book an appointment with her, and even if you are able to do so, many other reviews say that she cancels last minute quite often. With that said, her website notes that if a client cancels with less than 24 hrs notice, they will still be charged for the reservation. The irony. Not a good business practice. Good luck, Michelle. I hope you give future clients better service, and I'm sorry we couldn't have made something work.
