We waited a few quick minutes for their dedicated couples massage room; two sisters had just finished up, and they had to get it cleaned and prepared for us. When we entered, there were heart balloons and roses set up for us! We were given a minute to undress to our underwear and get comfortable. There were bottles of water and clean sheets and towels. They knocked and asked before entering, and asked how much pressure in general we wanted. They began quickly, and had some quiet music playing. Joy was my masseuse, and Tina did work on my partner. They started with our backs, necks, and about halfway through, had us turn over for the front. They applied a good amount of pressure, and adapted when we asked for more or less pressure in specific areas. Joy made some quick conversation to get us comfortable, and then it was silence for the rest. Very peaceful and relaxing. They asked about pressure, temperature, and specific areas that we wanted work on. They have obviously listened to former reviews and have made great improvements. I want to note that I am a personal trainer, and my partner works with their hands almost daily. It was deeply soothing, and I started falling asleep at one point. They definitely know what they're doing, and were very professional. I highly recommend Joy, and Tina got a great review from my partner as well. Prices are great as well. It was $60 per person per hour, and they did ask how much we would tip during payment. I was happy to tip them at a good rate. Massage is taxing to perform, and they were very deserving. When I think of going to get a massage or facial, I think of a serene, relaxing, and peaceful place. When I first walked in, the place was empty, and he walked in a few minutes later. I had found the paperwork sitting on a nearby table and began to fill it out. He greeted me, then showed me into the massage room. This room was not tranquil or peaceful whatsoever. It was smaller, which is no big deal, but every time he had to make his way around the bed, he brushed up against this fake tree in the room. And, the music was ridiuclous---not soothing at all. I'm not sure what pictures he has on his website, but this is not the room that I saw myself getting massaged in. There wasn't even a place for my clothing. There was a wall coat rack for me to place my belongings. He leaves the room and of course told me to undress, and he'd be in in a bit. I do so, hang my clothes on the rack, and hop into the FREEZING cold, and wet bed. After trying to warm up, I noticed the sheets had holes in them. Holes. Not just a few from wear and tear either. This was a lot of wear and tear and they were paper thin. I couldn't believe it. I've had a lot of shoulder and neck pain from my job, so I felt at least a little relief from the massage, but the ambience, and professionalism was lacking here at this location! Never again will I visit this place. Ever. I will do extensive research before using a massage therapist again.
