For my birthday today, my partner booked a couple's massage at Ann Spa, and I am so pleased and impressed with their service. The facility is clean, quiet, and simple. We waited a few quick minutes for their dedicated couples massage room; two sisters had just finished up, and they had to get it cleaned and prepared for us. When we entered, there were heart balloons and roses set up for us! We were given a minute to undress to our underwear and get comfortable. There were bottles of water and clean sheets and towels. They knocked and asked before entering, and asked how much pressure in general we wanted. They began quickly, and had some quiet music playing. Joy was my masseuse, and Tina did work on my partner. They started with our backs, necks, and about halfway through, had us turn over for the front. They applied a good amount of pressure, and adapted when we asked for more or less pressure in specific areas. Joy made some quick conversation to get us comfortable, and then it was silence for the rest. Very peaceful and relaxing. They asked about pressure, temperature, and specific areas that we wanted work on. They have obviously listened to former reviews and have made great improvements. I want to note that I am a personal trainer, and my partner works with their hands almost daily. It was deeply soothing, and I started falling asleep at one point. They definitely know what they're doing, and were very professional. I highly recommend Joy, and Tina got a great review from my partner as well. Prices are great as well. It was $60 per person per hour, and they did ask how much we would tip during payment. I was happy to tip them at a good rate. Massage is taxing to perform, and they were very deserving. Wow that was the best massage I've ever had! The hot stones and the oil felt amazing! The atmosphere was very relaxed and calming and it was very clean! She really had great pressure and hit all my problem areas! We did a couples massage too and they got us in for an appointment the next day! Definitely coming here again!!! read more

Ann always gives an *amazing* massage, with truly deep pressure and attention to trouble spots. She is very professional, and the spa is clean, comfortable, and relaxing. On par with far more expensive spas in town, and with hot stone included! I will be repeating. read more

I got a 3rd degree burn for the heating pack they used on my stomach, I had a C section and lost feeling in that area, so not being able to feel the heating pad was way to hot I left it on for the remainder of the massage, that night my stomach was all red, the next day I have a huge blister(i still have 3 days later).... the lady giving the massage was wearing a mini skirt, and her bare legs kept touching my arms, then she climbed up on the table, basically sitting on my head in a mini skirt. She also massaged the same spot over and over again, while I believe, she was texting on her phone (I kept hearing the typing noise) she also answered a phone call in the middle of the massage. I'm not very happy with the whole experience, especially the burn I received. I have taken multiple pics from the day it first showed up until now. Would not recommend this place as the massage seemed rushed and not relaxing at all. I have bruises from where she continuously went over the same spot. Pic of burn 2 days later attached. read more

The massage itself was good. However I got ripped off and paid twice what I should have. I just wanted a standard 1 person 30 minute massage as I didn't wanna spend much but they insisted I get a 2 person massage. Then halfway through they wanted me to extend it to an hour but rather than just pay the extra 20 up front they charged me the full 60 again. And then during the massage they said you better tip us well. They kept flirting with me hoping I would tip them better and come back but I never will. read more

My massage from Mia was very relaxing. Mia was very conscious of how much pressure was comfortable for me. The hot stones and warm weighted blankets were wonderful. For my appointment they had same day availability. The location was clean and quiet. Ann applied good pressure. Sometimes massage therapists are too gentle but she really got in there. I love acupressure and will be coming here again. read more

Dazed. My husband bought me a 90-min massage for Christmas. There was nothing wrong w/ the massage. A little too much pounding for me but everyone has their own style. The session was ruined by interuptions. First (an employee?) had a question & she left the room, then she left the room again because a man was arguing about the change he was given, saying they kept more for a tip than he intended, later she answered her ringing phone. I handed her $10 when I left and she demanded more. I'm struck dumb when faced w/ confrontation so I handed her another $10. I left feeling dazed & disappointed. This is a massage place with one employee only: Ann. She not only is the sole massage therapist there, but she also books all the clients and maintains the spa all by herself. As impressive as that sounds, this actually sacrifices the customer's needs and time. Her prices are seemingly reasonable: $40 for 30 mins, $60 for 60 mins, $90 for 90 mins, and $120 for 120 mins. That's what honestly lured me initially, but I should have known better. Pros: she found all my knots and worked very hard on kneading then out. Ann constantly asked if the pressure was satisfactory, and she asked for feedback often. She even used hot stones during the massage. Complimentary water bottles were offered. The facility appeared to be clean as well. Cons: This is personal preference, but her massage method was too fast/quick for my liking. Ann used a lot of forearm and elbow pressure. It involved punching/slapping your pressure points as well, which I was not expecting. She offered a bath towel for my cover-up, which made me feel cold. Although her cell phone was on silent, she had placed it right next to my head on the table; it was annoying to hear it vibrate multiple times next to my face during our session. Three customers came in during my 69 min massage; she not only left in the middle of our session to tend to these new customers but also left the door open each time, leaving me feeling very exposed. She did not wash her hands between her previous customer and me, and I imagine she didn't wash her hands after I left either. When it came to payment, Ann requested for tip. I offered to pay 15% because I felt bad for her being the only person running her business, but she instead charged me 15 extra dollars. I tried to correct her and say $70, but she apparently understand what I was saying and insisted I pay $75. Later that evening, Ann texted me to apologize for interrupting our session multiple times to tend to her other customers; I did not respond. Since then, she has sent me several more messages asking me to come back. I've blocked her number to stop her harassment. If you need a quick massage at a reasonable price, and you have a lot of patience, then this is the place for you to go. Otherwise, think twice before calling to book a massage. read more

ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!! My husband and I booked a couples massage for our anniversary at this Spa. We get massages pretty regularly and always switch up the place just to check different places out. We were in Indianapolis on a mini vacation for our anniversary and found this place on google. Not our first choice but majority of places with good reviews were already booked. We booked Ann's Spa roughly 3 weeks in advance. Most unprofessional massage we've ever had. when we got into the room we were asked to Undress completely leaving nothing but of our underwear on. That's normal. Nothing weird about that. We were told to lay face down on the table, again that's normal. Nothing weird about that. The small paper towel sheet over the bed we both laid under, as every other massage I've ever had you had a blanket over you. The masseuse knocks and asked if she can come in we say yes. Immediately they tell us to both get up that we're supposed to lay on top of the blanket, not underneath it. Well that's weird now I'm standing in a room naked while she fixes the sheet i wasn't supposed to lay on. after fixing the sheet, she has us both lay back down on our beds and throws a towel over the back of us. both masseuses talked the majority of the massage to each other and what seem to be on cell phones. They were both texting during our massage and both left the room multiple times. Our massage room door was left open multiple times while we're laying there half naked and to hear all of the talking in the halls . massage itself wasn't the best I've ever had but also not horrible. then it's time to leave. We go up to the register to pay. We pay our bill and leave both masseuses separately over 20% of a tip yet they both had the nerve to argue and ask for a bigger tip. when I explained that the tip is over 20% apiece, they still argue that they wanted a bigger tip. my husband, not being one to argue did end up giving them both more money. But I was not OK with it. not only did they get more than 20%. It was a much bigger tip than they deserved. I of course voiced my opinion to which neither of them cared. They just wanted more money. 1000% do not recommend This place. read more
