Warning: Avoid Wilson's Delivery LLC (and be cautious using Thumbtack for repairs)…read more I'm sharing my experience so others don't go through the same frustration and wasted time I did with Wilson's Delivery LLC and the complete lack of support from Thumbtack. I hired Antonio from Wilson's Delivery to repair an appliance. From the start, communication was inconsistent and confusing. He told me he had received the part needed but never came to install it. He also quoted me two different prices for the same part, both much higher than what the part actually cost. After weeks of unreturned messages, he finally scheduled an installation for the end of December--then canceled at the last minute with no effort to reschedule. At that point I had no choice but to find another professional on Thumbtack. The second pro immediately showed me where to order the correct part myself. It arrived within a week for $103 + $20 shipping--about $60 less than Antonio's last quote. That technician installed it promptly and professionally, proving the job could have been handled easily if Wilson's Delivery had acted responsibly. I asked Antonio multiple times for an invoice or any documentation explaining his charges. I was met with silence. The only record I have is our text messages and Thumbtack chat history. This lack of transparency and follow-through feels completely unprofessional. What makes this worse is Thumbtack's negligence. Despite providing them with the message history and explaining that the work was never completed, they offered little meaningful help and allowed this provider to continue operating on their platform. Customers trust Thumbtack to vet and hold contractors accountable, and in my case they failed to do either. I wasted weeks waiting, dealt with inflated pricing, and had to start over from scratch. Save yourself the headache--do not use Wilson's Delivery LLC for repairs, and be very cautious relying on Thumbtack's so-called protections
