He ran diagnostics on everything, was SUPER thorough, leaving no stone unturned, and at the end of it, confirmed that it was my Nest thermostat that was the issue. He could have easily assumed that it was the Nest but he confirmed that all the wires were working, that the blower control panel was functioning, and that the heat pump outside was cooling.
