My friend and I went there on a Saturday evening . I had booked 1 week in advance and requested a nice table . We got a tiny table all the way at the end of the restaurant with the highest uncomfortable stools . Within 30 min a dj set up his set up right next to us leaving us no space whatsoever . The pasta was overcooked and soggy . We both had to salt our food to get any flavor out . Too much cheese. Waitress though was incredible . Sweet , friendly , and attentive. But I will not be going there again . Not a great pasta place .

When we came here we were seated quickly and a server came to help us soon. I loved the colors and the chairs were comfortable. We got our food pretty quickly and it was great! I really liked it at this restaurant.

I ordered the bistecca New York steak and on the menu I read it as $19. When the bill came however it was $49. I was tired that day since I just moved into university so I thought I misread the menu but I went home and searched the menu online and saw that I was right. They made the "4" in 49 so faint to fool people. Also remember that I was reading the menu in person so the numbers were even more faint. Not only that, the server asked if we wanted tap or sparkling water and we got the sparkling water not knowing it costed $7 since the waiter never told us. So shallow and low plus this place is located near many universities, ripping off students. Entoneca, if you're reading this give me back the price difference for the $19 and $49 and my tip back since I paid 15% tip of the scamming price. Oh also the food didn't even taste good. Bill came to a total of $68.

Service 2/10: we were seated quickly because we had a reservation but that was probably the only good thing about the service. We were seated and waited 30 minutes to even be acknowledged or served water. Every time we were served an item, it was someone different. We were never given a refill of our water unless we flagged someone down. Food 6/10: literally nothing special. Quality went down since my last few visits to this same location. My drink tasted like soapy water and I had to go back and forth with the server to replace it. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, especially for a birthday dinner. Sad to say that I will now be removing this restaurant as one that I will be recommending and visiting during my visits to Montreal. If you want basic "Italian" food, go here.

Ordered takeout for a family dinner, and a family size pizza and pasta were plenty! The pasta had an unctuous garlic flavor, and the pizza crust was very flavorful and perfectly charred, complemented well by the cheese and toppings. Everything reheated well and was a great option for takeout or delivery!

There was six of us and we went in for a later lunch. It was around 3pm. We just got into Montreal and checked into the Fairmont. We waited quick a few minutes before being seated and even longer before staff came to the table. We ordered a bottle of wine and some appetizers. We placed our food orders. The food came pretty quick. It was very tasty. So tasty we ordered a second bottle of wine. Excellent bread! We were to full for dessert.

I had supper this evening at Enoteca Monza Pizzeria Moderna. I was brought a warm roll, which was tasty. I ordered Chicken Parmigiano (with no parm) with Spaghetti Pomodoro. I love love love chicken parm and this was really good. The pasta sauce was a bit sweet and the chicken was tender and juicy. I'd get this again. My server was quick and efficient but impersonal. It was a busy spot and she was hustling but it would have been nice if she could have been less rushed and made me feel welcome as a customer.

I came with my partner we were in a really good mood. We've ordered from Enoteca home before and liked it so we decided to go there in person. I ordered the ossobucco and arancini balls--both were pretty good! (Although the meat was a little dry but didn't get in the way of my meal). What did get in my way was the service. Man. Our waitress seemed to be serving everyone in the restaurant AND bartending while four other waitresses were chit-chatting and doing nothing. That wouldn't have been an issue but it took forever to get served! We had to wait to be able to even ask for the cheque for so long we considered getting up and leaving (don't judge it was 20 minutes to just ASK for the cheque). Long story short, didn't feel like we were treated well as customers, don't feel like it's the waitresses fault (more like management), but the food is pretty good. Oh also, don't order the monza caesar there...it's not worth it.

I've visited the restaurant on Sunday noon. The venue is in the middle of the construction works, but in very center in downtown Montréal, so I was expecting a certain level of standard. I've ordered some starters, bread, salmon al forno. They didn't bring the menu, you have to download on your smartphone. The waitress came back later staring there is no salmon today, also they do no have bread as well. Behind a couple also ordered some wine but it was not available. The food was pretty decent and well priced. I recommend the pasta. They served pizza too. The pasta al mare has shrimps, mussels, clams and well cooked. Also the garlic shrimps were very good But no Parmesan, no salt, no pepper ? The waitress excused herself, they were short staffed, which I accepted. As part the shortage of food, which I cannot blame them. But not having bread for an Italian restaurant is very puzzling. Will probably retry next year when everything will be back at normal. Lot of works to be done.

Very crowded but they found a nice outside seat for me. Very friendly staff. Coke products. Yea. Had the Carnivore pizza. It was good. Could have been a little crisper because the toppings were piled on making it hard to pick up. A lot of topping for the money. Came out really fast. My waitress was great keeping my diet coke full and letting me enjoy not understanding the French around me. Wish I would have paid more attention in high school French classes. A lot of pasta dishes going out. Looked good and big too. Didn't try or have room for dessert but the table next to me did and the cannoli looked great. I took half the pizza with me. With tip it was 28$, I'll go back again.

Disgusting to sit people under this.

The service was the bad part. They skipped over a lot of people and were kinda rude. They told a few people that "just so you know so you aren't like your friend, tipping isn't included"... They were being rude because they didn't tip when it's always optional. The people who didn't tip weren't really served and didn't eat... I don't know, not an ideal situation for the group mixed with the service. The lady that serviced us was super nice but the two men who helped with the party were not. It would probably be better as just a sit down casual spot and not for an event.

There were full tables, but not too loud or squished. Cozy, I would say. Luckily there was a table for the two of us. We came for a post-dinner wine so we didn't order any food items off their menu soir. I got a rose and my friend got one of the cocktails, the tea punch. The cocktail menu is limited but they have a decent selection of a variety of wines. There was already a small bowl of lemon and pepper popcorn, that I couldn't help snacking on, hah! Wine and cocktail was good. I liked that we could easily converse without loud music. My friend ended up getting a dessert, the chocolate and maple crumble. I had a bite - pretty good! Definitely very maple-y. Staff spoke English and French fluently. Quite nice and efficient. I also really liked that there is a bus stop directly outside and the bus takes you to the MTL metro station, which was awesome because it was snowing and I was not looking forward to walking 20 mins in the snow.

THIS WAS AMAZING…read more food here was flawless, every dish was absolutely perfect and creative. the ingredients are top shelf quality and put together with tons of care. I had the most amazing meal here. Genuinely the BEST beef tartare i've ever had in my life, it was chopped perfectly and flavor wise just absolute perfection. Rich, cheesy but still fresh and the beef flavor was present and well seasoned. Focaccia was great as well, the grill flavor really stuck with me and was a perfect touch of crunch and flavor. I enjoyed my leeks as well, i've never had them prepared this way so it was a unique touch. Their cocktails were good with some nice twists on classics, I got the oolong old fashion which was a pretty classic old fashion with a slight tea after taste. the highlight of the meal though was the desert . it was brûlée bananas with a chocolate cheesecake and omg that was the best touch to the meal ever. we got the wine pairing with it as well and they went together like bread and butter. the wine was sweet but had a fruitier taste to counteract the richness of the banana and chocolate. it was the most delightful experience and wasn't a bank breaker either. service here was attentive and amazing, extremely friendly and informative. the ambiance was on the fancier side, with darker lighting. during my time in montreal, this restaurant easily took home my favorite.

The service was friendly but they seemed short staffed that night. We were trying to refill our water glasses but it took a while since I couldn't find any waiter or waitress around. Now let's start with the food: Focaccia: 5/5 bread was warm, toasty and tasty but the dip was the highlight Leeks with smoked mackerel, mustard, tobikko: (2.5/5) too creamy with a hint of mackerel and leeks Calamari chou-fleur, asian pear, chili beurre blanc: (2/5) very soupy and too much cream and not flavorful Black cod miso sauce, daikon, kale: (2.5/5) cod was tender but my bite had too much miso on it. It was extremely salty and not well balanced Beef tartare with mushrooms, Asiago: (1/5) mushy texture and way too much Asiago cheese. Flank steak with burnt chili salsa, szechuan pepper sauce, pickled peppers: (2/5) steak was not tender at all and the sauce was overwhelming Fried sea bass with bok choy, soya, nuoc mam (3/5): presentation was great but too many bones with too little meat. Flavor was good and I enjoyed the warm crispy fish with the Vietnamese style salad Overall, my special dinner was disappointing. I felt like the main ingredient never shined and their cheese or cream or sauce were just too overpowering. I really wanted to like Cadet but it fell short of my expectations.
