What can I say? In spite of the negatives, we were excited to try something new to Forney. But I have to validate the previous reviews unfortunately. We are big time meatball fans, and we were really hoping this "staple" Italian dish would have been passable. Unfortunately, it was inedible. I guess I'll have to stick to Napoli's which is where I'll continue to take my appetite and my dollars. I'm not exaggerating, our 40lb Dog who hasn't been fed today, wouldn't eat the meatball we gave her. They were literally burnt to a crisp. (See photo) The kids' cheese we ordered was overdone, with zero sauce. It was essentially thin flavorless biscuit dough, with no sauce and melted cheese. Think of it like a crispy nacho, but without the Mexican flavor. Our Pig Smiley was decent, but it too was very burnt around all edges. It's clear from all the food , and other folks experience, that they neither understand time and temperature, nor flavor. I understand brick ovens take some time to season, and most likely they just don't have "the touch". But their price point isn't at a level where I want them "practicing" on me. Usually when a new place opens you get immaculate food quality and service and it drops off to something between average and "very good". I am not alone, it appears, when I say this place will not last in Forney unless they figure out how to put out edible, affordable dishes. Pizza chains blow the quality and flavor of this place out of the water for a fraction of the price. We paid nearly $60 for 2 pies; inedible meatballs, a small salad and a dessert. Was out visiting my brother and sis in law decided to try this place out. What.A.Disappointment. We started with the brushetta which was different than I'm used to but was good. We ordered shiitake pizza. Toppings were fresh however it was so paper thin, dry and just not good. The very thin crust was powdery and burnt much like a cracker. We did have wine and the beer was good. We did end the meal with a desert which was ok the chocolate "paper sack" desert with fresh berries. The berries were scarce but what was there was good. All in all would not return with a $70 bill and left hungry would've been better having take out. read more

Pizza was just ok; definitely not worth the $16 we paid for the pizza alone. We had the goat cheese and meatball pizza and the truffle bread. May go back and try some of the entrees. read more

My pickup order was ready before the estimated timeline. They send a text when you order online so I was able to get it right out of the oven. It was still hot when I got home. I love the pig smiley and can't resist getting at least half with that, and there's not any I don't like for the other half. I love this thin crust pizza! read more

It was a great night Friday night at Enos! I went to meet my mom and dad for a drive. I saw friends and ended up really enjoying my first visit. My Long Island ice tea was $11 plus a 2 dollar tip. Let me start by saying....we had high hopes for our experience. We recently purchased a home in the area and have not gotten a chance to explore the area. Me and my spouse were both in the mood for pizza. Saw the great reviews and thought we would give Enos a shot. We arrived around 8:30 pm on Saturday 2/4/2023. There were several tables open and I could smell great flavors from the kitchen. I got excited. We stood at the door and waited as a young hostess gingerly made her way to us. She gave a half smile and seated us to the booth immediately adjacent to the front door. The booth was dirty so my husband switched seats. We reviewed the menu and drink selections and decided we were going to try 2 different pizzas. Once we made our decision we waited. And waited. And waited some more. Scanning for the bathroom I noticed the hostess and two waiters standing alongside the wall behind me. We continued to wait as a waitress brought the table next to us their pizza. Never once did someone say "We will be right with you" or asked If we had even had our drinks ordered. We sat there for 10 minutes before I got up to leave. As we headed for the door a male waiter yelled out "Have a great night" I replied you too and thanks. I laughed it off as we headed to the car parked out front. The entire restaurant was staring at us. It was embarrassing and hurtful. To have our presence only acknowledged as we were leaving felt intentional. Needless to say we will not be back. The food smelled decent but we pay for service as well. This past weekend...we received neither. read more

I wrote the establishment and commented on the Yelp reviews that mentioned the abundance of sun that comes through the windows and they gave me wonderful seating suggestion. But how about when we went, we sat in the sunny section, it was an overcast day, so no sun... I looked up at those beautiful windows and I see now why they chose not to cover them up... we are so going back...wonderful ambiance!!! read more

My family and I went in on a weekday early evening and we were very surprised by the condition of the restaurant. There was a large pile of trash and crumbs on the floor under the table by the window. I was surprised to see that it was so dirty considering the necessary Covid cleaning protocols. I was excited to try Eno's. Unfortunately not one employee in this restaurant was wearing a mask during the pandemic. I asked the host to put one one as he was approaching us. He seemed annoyed and said he would go get one in a minute as he came closer and closer to us. I looked around and realized not one employee was wearing a mask and we got the hell out of there. Love this local pizza place. Been a few times and it gets better and better. I want to try every pizza. They're each so unique and a different take on a classic. Fantastic dinning experience! The perfect balance of generous toppings, thin crust, pizza cooked to perfection in a wood fire oven. Service could not have been better! Very unique place & even more unique food!!! Loved it. The environment is very eclectic, hipster-ish but also really fun & relaxing. Not a run of the mill salad or pizza. They have the "normal" pepperoni that is exceptional. But they've got some really daring pizzas as well that are so weird but REALLY do work! I had such high hopes. This place has so much potential to be great! But my experience was just awful. As a former server at a high volume restaurant there are several things I noticed that were very poorly handled by the staff. We had a large party, we trickled in probably 2 or 3 at a time over the course of maybe 30 min to an hour. It was a girls night- family and friends coming in from out of town. We made a reservation about a week in advanced so we assumed the restaurant would be prepared. Our table was seated in a very sunny room with no shade. I left with a sunburn on my back! We had to ask the manager to turn on fans to cool the room down because it was scorching hot (summer in Texas). Since the party arrived a few people at a time, we thought drinks would be out quickly but instead, we waiting for drinks for over 10 minutes. Our party had stools instead of chairs which several people including myself were uncomfortable and stiff. We only had one server for our large party, which I think is unprofessional because there's no way a single person can take care of a party of 20. Our server ended up getting help from others but the attitude of the entire staff was extremely unpleasant. The food and drinks ended up being bland and just not quality food. Several people didn't finish their meals or drinks because they didn't like them. This place is supposed to be child friendly, but the way our experience went, the one toddler was uncomfortable and unhappy with the sun in her face and left unable to sit on a stool because she can only sit in chairs. There wasn't enough room for the infant in the car seat so the dad was called to come pick her up. Great food and friendly staff. I loved the pizza and the cheese ball things. Wish I would of taken a picture. I gave them 4 stars bc we ordered a beer and it never came to our table, we did not remind our waitress. But she was quick to remove it from or check when we told her we did not receive it. The only other decrease in stars was because there was food under our table from the previous guest. But really a great place to eat. We will definitely go back again. read more

Oh Eno's, I didn't want to be so disappointed. Forney was in desperate need of a great new place. The atmosphere. It's beautiful. You did a great job but forgot one huge detail - The SUN, it's Texas, it gets blazing hot and those beautiful floor to ceiling windows turn into a blinding, magnifying glass at 6:30pm in 100' heat. We had the manager turn on the ceiling fan which helped until the sun went down. Then it got cool. So we asked for it to be turned off since we were no longer baking to which the response was, "well you wanted it on". Yikes! We had a reservation for a party of 20 on a Wednesday night at 6:30. When we arrived the table was set and ready for us with water at each seat. Thank you for that! The seats are stools with no backs. Our entire experience took 3 hours so the seating is definitely not comfortable. The service. Severely lacking of common sense and attentiveness. When our party ordered drinks, it took an unusually long time for a pretty empty restaurant. Then, they were brought out one at a time in what seemed like 3-5 minute increments. Two drinks didn't get brought out until we asked. Water, tea and soda drinks were not refilled for 20 minutes at one point. Some were never refilled at all. One member of our party never even got her food. Dessert was brought out before their food and when she asked about it was told it had been thrown away because no one claimed it. It was then brought out miraculously within 2 minutes. She was not charged for her meal thankfully. But then, out of nowhere a different server decides she needs to take away our cloth napkins. What? Why? We weren't done!!!! I'm so confused. So it's time for our tickets, this took forever! Our server was asked multiple times for tickets but got distracted and forgot. The food - is mediocre. Personally I liked the thin, crispy crust but the sausage had no flavor. There was little to no cheese so the toppings were falling off. The cannoli was flavorless as well. The manager did make it a little less painful by comping a few items. I really wanted to like Eno's Forney but I'm predicting without some serious training it won't last long. read more

Wow! Not only was the pizza and wine delicious but the staff came through for me during a tough situation. During this crazy snow storm of 2021 that we were having I was just lucky to have found them open. I believe they had closed at 7pm and I walked in around 7:15. We had a death in the family and I was going to order some pizzas to take to the family. They stayed open for me and took care of my order with a smiles on their face!
