Came by on a Saturday night with my two young children. The restaurant wasn't very loud and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. My kids got kids personal pizzas. I got a small salad and a speciality pizza that was half Central Pie and half Pepperonito. I ate the Central Pie and honestly the pizza was overcooked. It was so dry and the sun dried tomatoes were black. I didn't send it back because I didn't feel like waiting for a remake. This pizza wasn't cheap either. So I probably won't come back due to how dry the thin crust pizza was. The salad was good but not amazing and only had 4 ingredients but was $9. read more

First the pizza. Paper thin crust and square cut. Heavy on the oil but not much taste otherwise. The alfredo was drowning in olive oil. So much so that you couldn't taste the alfredo. All things considered, I don't think I would come here again. Overall, a fairly average experience that is priced as something that should be much better. Inside is small and contemporary and definitely creates a great atmosphere. The service is fine as well. I wouldn't call it particularly fast, but it's friendly and attentive. I would suggest passing on anything that resembles a meatball. They are dry, overcooked and not particularly tasty. At $13, the TX beef and boar sub is a sandwich to skip. If I'm being honest, the side Caesar salad I had with it wasn't much better. It was definitely underdressed. The shaved parmesan on top was a nice touch though. I found my new favorite pizza place! I came here for the first time the other day and ordered the pig smiley. 10/10 highly recommend!

First, let me preface my review by saying I'm a huge fan of Eno's Oak Cliff so when I heard they were opening a location in Forney, I was excited at the prospect of having a location closer to home! I've been here twice, (once to the pre-opening and again on the first night). On both occasions we had their Pig Smiley pizza which is wunnn-derful! I love their cracker thin crust and even when it comes with burnt edges, this just adds to the meld of flavors. This pizza also has a slightly sweet taste due to the local honey that they add to the other locally sourced ingredients. The pizza here is hands down my favorite and it beats any other pizza I've tried (even in comparison to Zanata and Bankhead Brewery). On one occasion we strayed from our norm and tried the Artichoke Fonduta. It wasn't bad but I expected it to be more flavorful. For dessert we had some type of apple baked in a pastry with vanilla ice. Again, it was OK. The crust was tough and difficult to cut into which made it a challenge to eat but the overall taste was good. Maybe it had something to do with the preparation or the kitchen staff not yet being up to speed? Here's what really concerned me more than the food - the taste of the Eno's Margarita. Even though this place is known for their beer selection, I prefer margaritas and this place has one of the best I've ever tasted and for $9 bucks, I expect it to be good! So on our first visit, they were perfect. On our second trip, something was off (like it had too much lemon flavor - on both drink orders). I was really disappointed because I look forward to their margaritas as much as their pizza. Turns out they mix up their margarita mixture (from scratch), in batches. I guess the bartender was new and didn't have the recipe down right but I definitely noticed the difference. Would it stop me from coming here again? No, but I'll definitely speak up and let the bartender know if it doesn't taste up to par (and I've had enough of them at their original location to know). We'll be back and hopefully these were just opening day hiccups and they'll hit their stride, but the service and pizza was great on both visits. By the way, if you plan on stopping by on a Saturday afternoon for lunch - they don't open until 5:00. :-( read more

Finally, an eatery, seemingly worth the salt you put in bread, has made its way to Forney. Boy, I believe EVERY FORNIAN (yes I did) anticipated this opening. After driving by and seeing the lines out the door with an estimated 2 hour wait time, I received the big opportunity to feast on what I believed to be phenomenal pizza this past weekend. The hubz, kiddos, and I arrived about 10 minutes before it opened and there was still about a 5 minute wait. I think everyone else had the same idea. Once we were seated and submitted our orders, we watched in awe of how cool this place was. It's definitely not like anything else here in Forney. Service was a little slower than I had hoped. I totally get it; they were barely open a week and were still working out the kinks. About 75% of the employees appeared to be teenagers as well so......... We started with the meatballs; a little bland for my liking, not memorable. I ordered the Eno's original in a regular size. This pie comes with salami, hot peppers, and garlic mushrooms. They brought my pizza in a large size (not going to complain because I was charged for the regular size) without the garlic mushrooms!!! The ingredient I was looking forward to the most! They informed me that I had in fact eaten some else's pizza (I'm assuming they weren't mushroom lovers). My hubby got the supreme. Again, the pizza was good; not make-me-want-to- get-on-the-table-and-do-the-"Tootsie Roll"-good but it definitely had some good flavors. There was very thick and tough salami on the pizza, when it might've been better to be thinly sliced or even shaved. Eno's is going to do very well, it's apparent and I can even see myself trying them again. Let's see what happens when everything dies down a bit. read more

Food was beyond bland, I had the chicken Alfredo. It was $17, portion size was about a small bowl, the "fire roasted" chicken was actually frozen processed pieces. It did not taste fresh at all. The drinks are great though and I do like the atmosphere, so if I had to recommend this place, it would be solely for the drinks and not the food. Had dinner here last night for the first time and I really enjoyed their food. My husband and I both ordered small salads and a large pizza.to share .All was delicious, just wished the pizza was a little bit larger. I also recommend the blackberry beer it was very tasty. Some pizza lovers prefer a doughy mess of a crust (e.g. Papa Johns, Marcos et al). Personally, I prefer a cracker thin crust. Or, thin NY style. To each their own. Being partial to Louie's, which I view as the best pizza in Texas, I've been searching for something comparable for the past few years. Alas, Eno's is recommended to me. Unlike the dive bar ambience at Louie's, Eno's is more modern, and seems to attract a hipster crowd, craving their Texas craft brews. In fact, Eno's only carries beers from the Republic on their taps. A Velvet Hammer for lunch. Indeed! Wine list. You bet, and it's not too shabby. As far as the pizza, Eno's, by far, is the thinnest cracker crust pizza I've ever consumed. I opted for the "Pig Smiley," which consists of Eno's sausage, Ham, Peperoni, and honey. A perfect display of flavortown. (Sorry, Guy- I had to steal this line from you.) A damn good pizza. Very good pizza, great bar service from Trey, and an impressive display of taps. I still prefer Louie's, but Eno's gives them some stiff competition. Bet large on a return visit. read more

Okay but slow. The pizza is pretty good (I like thin crusts$ but our first one came out burned so we they made us another, which took forever so they comped it for us. The kids pizzas came out earlier and they were done eating before our pizza came much, much later. Trying to contain two little ones when they're done isn't fun. Ordered online for 7pm pickup. Arrived at 7:01 and was finally handed my pizzas at 7:27. It's like they didn't start making the pizzas until after I arrived. If you are unable to handle online orders then don't take them! $60 for 3 pizzas. If you are going to be expensive be the best with service. Also, in my 26 minute adventure I was the only customer at the to go stand, so it wasn't a wait my turn issue. The pizza is always good, but for pickup I'll go elsewhere. read more

Great pizza. Good drinks. Really good salads . Really some of the best pizza I can remember having in quite some time. The crust is a extremely thin crust they describe as cracker crust. They really let the ingredients do the talking for the pizza. Feel free to order a size up from your normal pizza size, the crust is not what will be filling you up here as most pizza do these days. Makes this a healthier Pizza choice I feel. Hands down one of the top 3 desserts I have had. We had the chocolate brownie with ice cream. OMG so good! The service we had was a bit slow but he was nice and patient as we looked at the menu. We split a large Caesar salad, ordered a Calabria with ham and of course the fore mentioned chocolate brownies. Took my parents there today for lunch. Very nice ambiance and polite staff. Unfortunately, the cook loves to over-salt the main dishes. Mom and I ordered tomato basil soup. After two bites it was impossible to keep eating it. I'm a salt fanatic (could eat chips all day), but this was wayyyy too salty! We politely sent the soup back. The waitress informed us someone new cooked the soup today, maybe that was the reason?.... No biggie. Waited on our pizza to come and ordered dinner salads instead of the soup. The gluten-free crust on the pizza was great -- but the rest of the pizza was so doused in salt it was impossible to enjoy it. Really sad because the restaurant is a neat place.
