Single person owner/operator, so I always enjoy supporting a small business like this! The portion…read moredog sizing was okay for the price. Flavor was good, similar or same as Costco dogs. The only negative was the green relish was hulk colored bright green. Like I've never seen pickles this shade of green. And there was so much relish, I had to scrape it off. The neon green was off putting. Everyone with that relish ended up throwing the hot dog away, only 1/2 eaten. The fries were good. Nicely seasoned and fresh. Not sure we'd return, but happy to have given a try.

Food: You can make everything they serve at home in about 15 minutes or less. Prices are very high, which is normal for ocean shores. $8.99 Brats and Hot Dogs, $2.99 Fries and Chili Fries are $7.99 Come here for simple hotdogs and fries. Run if you don't have extra thick skin to tolerate a blantly unfriendly racist cook. I live and work in Ocean Shores. I make an effort to support locals when the season's visitors are at an all-time low. This year has been cooler than usual. The tourists aren't coming in hoards yet. My husband and I stopped to support the business. We were friendly and spoke with other people waiting. The cashier girl must have gone to take a break. The cook never greeted us. There was only one customer in the store. We came in and waited patiently for 10 minutes for someone to take our order. We put in our order with the cook. He used the greasy gloves to run the register and touch cash. This wasn't acceptable to me. However, I don't work in sanitation or food service, so maybe that's OK to do between touching food? He glared at us and really just didn't want to be there. We felt the silent hate emanating from his words. Luckily, 6 new clients appeared. The cashier girl returned and took their orders. While 8 people are waiting inside the little takeout store.. the cook turned towards me while I was misconversation with another local and asked what I wanted on the brat. I asked him what options were available. He just glared at me with extreme impatience. This made everyone in the store, and I just paused in shock. The cashier girl just looked helpless. Since the cook never answered, I said my husband ordered the brat and would eat anything because we are fat. He just stomped back to his station without a word. This was witnessed by locals and visitors alike. We will never support a business who hates Asians and Native Americans. This is not a common experience in Ocean Shores. The locals are usually very kind and reasonable. I hope that the owner is aware of the cooks behavior and helps him have better customer relations. This is not acceptable. I work in the service industry, and I could have never treated a customer this way. If you are having a bad day. Stay home. Don't treat people badly due to you having a bad mood regardless of reason.

I love the idea of this small take-out joint. Entrepreneur quits her regular job to create a small…read morerestaurant. Her daughter also quits to help her out. Lots of fresh made menu items, some with a twist from time honored recipes. I really want to support them, but one problem . . . I've gone two times in the last four days around 11:15am, and they were closed. As far as I know, they should be open at 11am. On Saturday, I saw a young lady come of of the door, so I walked over, and she said the owner wasn't there yet, and invited be to come back in 30 minutes. i finished my other arrands and came back 40 minutes later, and they were still not open. I parked in the lot behind the tiny restaurant and waited another 10 minutes before finally leaving. Three days later, I came by at about 11:15am again, and they still hadn't opened. I understand the challenges of a small business, but someone needs to understand the importance of opening on time! I'm not on a clock for work, but if I had been and clocked out to go for lunch, and they weren't open 20-25 minutes after they should be, I'm not sure I would ever go back. I will give them another chance, because I want to support them. I will stop by after 11:30, and hope they are open. UPDATE: I decided to give them another chance and I went by for the third time in six days. This time i waited until 11:40 because the last two times it was closer to the opening time of 11am. SHOCKER!! They were still not open, or even looking like they would be any time soon. The front door was locked, the chairs outside were still stacked and there was no sign that anyone was around. For me, that's strike three. You would think a small business would do all they could to be open on time. And if you have a valid reason for not being open, leave a small not at the door. I'm sure the food is good, but I won't waste my time driving the 4 miles to try again. Sorry ladies!

Great service. Really nice people in a cool bohemian setting off Hwy 99. Love the artwork all…read moreover. The host explained the menu to us and we got a couple of chili dawgs (Everyone's Fav), hold the sour cream, with an order of fries. Yes, they accept credit cards. They hand you a buzzer that tells you to collect your order and it worked for us from the nearby parking lot. I'm sure the sour cream would have made it even more over the top good but both of us are sadly lactose intolerant and not big believers in dairy subs. However, the seasoned fries were hot and tasty and perfect to dip in the excellent chili. I just lost my soul cat and these dawgs were a perfectly indulgent, guilty treat on a days like these where I need to wash the blues away.
