Super delicious buttery pasties! We got there soon after it opened and ordered the original Uncle Oogie and it was perfect! Plenty of beef and pastry was just what I wanted and the portion was huge! One is plenty for lunch! Also ordered an apple dumpling and whoopie pie, both were delicious!Service was friendly and quick! A great lunch spot!

While in Astoria, OR, we found an amazing food truck called,Bucket Bites! They make pasties (pass-tees) The owner, Chris is the kindest, most helpful guy ever. We tried 3 varieties Uncle Oggie, Slater and Tail Gater, Pipeiline and Stampmill Gravy and I forget the name of the other one. We were so impressed with this business! The food was excellent, comfort food that you would expect to find in old world Europe in Astoria, OR of all places. What a delightful experience. Great to meet you Chris! We are going to tell everyone about you!!!!

Apple Turnover 5 out of 5 stars. Sooooo good!!!

Stopped here on a whim. Didn't check out Yelp and just went off a hunch that this place would have a decent apple pie. I ordered 2 apple turnovers and it blew my mind!! This place was on point and I just experienced some of the best apple pie I have had in years. Well done!!!

Apple Dumplings with an incredible Caramel Sauce

This is the real deal. Uncle Oogie is a lovely Steak, potato, rutabaga combination of nummy. It's reasonably priced and fast to go. They also have a nice inside space if you want to eat there.

    Lumberjack Pastie with Stampmill gravy

You have to try this place out for yourself! My fiancé and I have been back here multiple times not just for the food, but for the people making the food as well. They are great people using environmentally friendly containers who actually care about the impact they make. Our go to's are the Lumberjack with the Stampmill gravy and an apple dumpling to share. Tell your friends about this place!

My cousin and I stopped by this food cart after walking around the Astoria Sunday Market…read more It took 46 minutes to receive our orders after paying, and I'm pretty sure that's due to the staff being extremely stoned, but we forgave this as soon as we bit into our burgers. My cousin ordered the Oklahoma Double Smashburger, and I ordered the Bacon Black and Blue. I thought I had ordered a double, and she thought she had ordered a single, so we ended up moving one patty from her burger to mine. I was really, really hungry. I devoured my burger and fries. I was a little disappointed that fries were the only potential side (all burgers automatically come with fries), but, given how much trouble the staff had keeping orders straight, maybe they don't need to be adding menu items. The Oklahoma was the first decent Oklahoma smashburger I've found anywhere. Both of our burgers were true smashburgers, with caramelized patties. My cousin's had a lot of mustard and onions, while mine had bacon and blue cheese. I didn't love the amount of bacon and blue cheese. It's not my new favorite blue cheese burger of all time-- a spot still held by Gott's in California. But it was really, really good. Good enough to make us forget how annoyed we were at waiting 46 minutes for two burgers. The toppings were all fresh. The bacon and blue cheese were both top quality, although I wished there was a little more of each. The smashburger had really good flavor, but was on the lighter side as far as smashburger patties go. The cart was in a little food cart plaza with about ten carts surrounding a beer tap hall. The vibes were slightly more classy, beach like, and romantic as opposed to other food cart malls. Our burgers were about $18 each, which was definitely on the higher side, but that's what it's like ordering from a bougie food cart by the sea. We carried our burgers down to the alley with murals behind Pine Street Market for amazing photo ops on our way down to the ocean.
