I cancelled through my online account and was told all was good, then received a bill for an entire year. I called back and the person said they had received my cancellation before my annual contract started and there was nothing left for me to pay. They received a bill for $27 for one month. Billing went from $16 to $27???? Their response "things cost more these days". That's about a 40% increase; that's way more than cost of living. Avoid this company, they are no longer a value. I had a few times over the years that the alarm was tripped and never received a call. With the Ring and other options, companies that monitor private residences need to downsize their business footprint or they will price themselves out of business.

We needed to replace and upgrade a failing wired security system that we had installed in 1990. We felt completely comfortable from our first phone call to Alyssa and Rob who explained patiently, and in great detail, what would be involved and what choices we could make. Within 2 weeks we had a new upgraded wireless system, installed by two amazing young men: Nate and Jason, who in the space of 4 hours, finished the install, explained each step, and left the house spotless. Our concerns about possible damage in removing the old equipment and installing the attractive new system was unfounded: you would never know that any work had been done. After the install, Rob followed up with a detailed complete tutorial on how to use the system most effectively, and strongly encouraged us to stay in touch if any questions or problems arise in the future. We would highly recommend the team at Berman Home Systems.

However, when Rob Berman visited to plan out our wifi system, we discussed security and it became clear that he was extremely knowledgeable about the intricacies of security. He pointed out several major flaws in our existing system, which made it easy for someone to enter our home undetected. Rob took us on a walkthrough of our house to assess the requirements for installing a new system. Later that evening, we received a quote which we accepted immediately. The installation team was professional, detail-oriented, and kept us informed throughout the installation process. Rob made multiple visits to ensure everything was going smoothly and even took the time on a Saturday morning to walk us through every aspect of the system. Overall, we are thrilled with the work done by Berman. The installation team paid attention to every little detail and Rob's personal involvement in the project was appreciated. We feel secure and safe in our home and would highly recommend Berman to anyone looking for a top-notch security system.
