Never Again!!! So about 18 months ago I needed an electrician and since Tony is in town I decided…read moreto give him a try. Called several times and left messages, but never got a call back. Since it was a small job I ended up having a friend help me out. A few months later I needed something else done so I tried Tony one more time. This time he answered, I explained what I needed and came to the house the next day. All I needed done was having an outdoor outlet replaced. He was at my house for about an hour before he left because he didn't have the right parts. He came back the following day to finish the job while I was at work. When I got home I looked at what he had done and not only was there scraps, parts, and debris all over my yard where he had been working, but the outlet was duct taped together. I called him to find out what the hell happened and his response was "well the part didn't fit so that's what I had to do" He sent me a bill for the "work" he had done and wanted it paid promptly. He refused to fix the outlet correctly and claimed that was all that could be done. When I checked to outlet to see if it even worked, I was not surprised to find out that it indeed did not. I called another electrician who not only fixed the problem quickly, but also gave me a good price because he felt bad that I had to deal with a bad electrician that gives the wrong reputation to the field.

The phone was answered immediately by Alicia who was so helpful, listened to what we needed done and set up an appointment for us immediately, which we were so grateful for. The electric wire going into the house was hanging very low and we realized the attachment on the house (for lack of a better explanation) was hanging off the house. Alicia asked us to send photos and I did with a comment" didn't realize how bad it was". Her response was "I've seen worse" so right off the bat she made me feel better. She asked if we wanted her to send someone to give us a quote, but we didn't want to waste time on that so said no. She quoted us how much it would be per hour (+ materials) and we were very happy with the final price (we felt very reasonable). The 2 electricians were here at 8:30 on a day when it was below 20 degrees!! They did a great job and were in/out in a little over an hour. DO NOT pay this man any money up front. He came to my home to give me a quote to run an electrical…read moreline from the basement to the attic to supply electricity to an OUTLET. He said the job would take 5 hours and he would have to break the wall in my dining room to run the line which would cost $1350 plus an initial $175 consultation fee and said 1/2 the funds were due upfront so I paid him $700. Upon consultation, he noted there was an electrical box already sitting 2ft from the outlet and said if I can run a line from this box to the outlet I will only charge $175 consultation fee since there's not much work involved. He returned with a worker and was able to connect to the box next to the outlet, it took him a little over an hour to TRACE the line from the basement to the box, without have to break walls and run a hard line from the basement. He then charged me $905 and ended up requesting an I became upset. This is not what he promise. I asked him for a breakdown of what he's charging for, he said he charges for a minimum of 2.5 hours plus he needed an extra man (which he also charged for) for the job so the work was shared and both of them had to be paid and he's charging for materials?!?? There were no materials involved except that he relaxed the sockets. I did not pay him the extra $205 because to run a simple electrical line from a nearby box to an outlet does not cost $700! DO NOT pay the contractors any monies upfront. If they are legit and have a business, they should have the funds to cover the job and collect after the work is finished.

We asked him to come back and fix it to be able to dim. Benny kept giving us the run around and blamed us for it not working. The day he came out to fix it, he came into our house without our permission and started the work after saying he would come between a reasonable hour. He made it seem like we owed him something for having him come out at 7 when it was his fault he came so late. I wouldn't recommend this company because you'll be made to look like you're an idiot and have a stranger barge into your home without your permission. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Reached out them thru their website and got a reply from Mike (the owner) within few minutes. They collect initial information such as electric panel, location of installation and pathway from main box to the location. Mike stopped by few days later to survey the property and provided me an exact quote via online. The quote site provides option to pre-qualify for financing which was a convenient option. Once I accepted the quote, got an installation appointment date 2 weeks away. On appointment day, Gladiator team arrived right on time. They did an amazing job of pulling the cable through my basement ceiling without cutting or poking anything. They used good quality material to run the cable through the trench to the charging dock. They installed the charger and ensured my Tesla was charging properly post installation. It took them about 6 hours to complete the job and they were dedicated to it through out the time. John, Jessie, Marcus were amazing. Gladiator pulled the permit and scheduled inspection with the town. I received notification emails for each of the appointments and reminders as well. Once inspection was done, I got all the documents from them to submit to PSE&G for rebate program. Overall I had an amazing experience working with Mike and Gladiator team.
