15 months ago, we hired City Fire during renovation of our new medical office to make it compliant…read morewith local code and pass Fire Inspection - and get CO. To this day, there are issues City Fire failed to help us with to gain closure for a $10k project that doubled over the 1 year renovation. 1) Provide an itemized list of what services were performed, what was paid, and what was owed - Our meeting 3/1/23 was a waste of time. 2) Explain the copied signature on the invoice I did not sign. They denied copying my signature. See photos. 3) Rectify the unfinished part of the project. We failed Fire inspection, and we received Violations from the Town. This was not rectified 3/1/23 The entirety of our experience with City Fire was lackluster, unfortunately. Failure to communicate has been the norm,and work performed was incomplete, with several improperly installed fixtures, and a missing, but required Exit sign. They forgot fire extinguishers before final Fire Inspection. 3/1/23 I was advised we should have requested fire extinguishers... 3/1/23: We met with City Fire and we paid more than $9k under duress, since a lawsuit was threatened. They are aware of 3 issues why we failed Fire Inspection twice, and they see that we did work outside of City Fire to pass inspection - like fire extinguishers, a new exit sign which was burnt out due to incorrect wiring. And a moved exit sign. They asked why we didn't have them do the fixes... My wife and I are relieved to have them out of our lives. $9k well spent, since litigation would have been more costly. They are all about collecting the money, and Liz Rivera was proud that she "always gets the money." They demanded payment for services not performed, and they even went so far as to copy and paste my signature 2 times. See attachments. May God bless City Fire. I will not fight this evil anymore. We were mandated to use them for our new construction in our medical practice, since they service the entire building at 22 Ild Short Hills Rd, Livingston, NJ. If you have a choice, we cannot recommend City Fire due to their avarice, unscrupulous practices, lies, acrimony, and poor, incomplete service. Thank you. Dr Joseph
