I called them on Monday to discuss my options regarding size, the wall mount and brand. We were not sure the old mount would fit so they agreed to bring a new mount with them "just in case". The new TV was delivered on Tuesday before noon and installed within 15 minutes. The old mount worked just fine. The two young men who did the installed were patient and professional. They installed the unit and insured everything was working before leaving. This place is a class act.

I'm tired of people accusing Flint of the whole "nude photos" thing when ALL charges were dropped…read morein the end, with the judge essentially calling those charges ridiculous and entirely unsupported. People flamed Flint for accusations without due process. That's not what America and our Constitution is about. Those accusations turned out to be essentially baseless, yet none of the flame throwing reviewers on here bothered to update their reviews That says a lot more about those people than it says about Flint. I've been doing business with them for decades, beginning with Gary in 1992. (They know me by my real name, first name is Bob.) Are they perfect? No. Then again, who or what is? My only real complaint is that they're not very open to accepting returns on products that simply don't work from the factory. There is always some fallout rate with any product; smart and knowledgeable customers with engineering degrees who've spent hours deeply troubleshooting the problem shouldn't be blamed for that. Regardless of that, I continue to highly recommend Flint and generally enjoy doing business with the Gagnes (both Gary and his son, Sean, who acquired the business with a partner in January '24). Summarily, disregard EVERY review on here that centers around charges that were subsequently dropped in their entirety before any trial even began.

My wife and I are trustees for a 10-unit condo building in Plymouth. We recently hired Standish…read moreFire to maintain the fire system in the building. In our 10 years as members of the condo association we've never been so impressed with a vendor. We wholeheartedly recommend Standish Fire. Our building used the same fire inspector for 15 years and there were issues with our system. I set up appointments with a couple fire inspectors in the area for additional opinions, Standish being one of them. Mike and Peg, the owners of Standish Fire, arrived on time for the initial walk down. They were friendly and professional. Their quotes were much more competitive than our previous inspector. Another inspector I met with was a larger, corporate alarm company who refused to give us a quote because our system required electrical work. Luckily both owners of Standish Fire are licensed electricians. Throughout this journey Standish educated us on our various matters like code and insurance liability we hadn't previously considered or even looked at. They were truly watching out for the safety of the building's residents and business owners. As we explored switching to Standish Fire, the Plymouth Fire Chief sent out a notice to our board about several violations. The notice was sent on a Thursday with a plan to do a site visit on the following Monday. The majority of the building owners agreed switching to Standish Fire was the right choice -- fair pricing, prompt service, having the necessary licenses and having equipment we needed in-stock were all factors that made Standish Fire a clear and strong choice. We were blown away on Friday afternoon when Standish Fire called after we shared the Chief's notice with them. They offered to come over the weekend to install all of the equipment we needed to bring us into compliance for Monday's walk down with the Chief. They had equipment in stock that our previous inspector wasn't able to source for months. They even made themselves available on Monday morning. By the time Monday arrived our system was totally in compliance and everyone was happy. We could go on! If you're in the Plymouth area we highly recommend Standish Alarm. We look forward to working with them for years to come.

Ive been using a different company for years that i should have continued to use, unfortunatley i accepted a recomendation from our security camera guy and decided to use Mount Pleasant Alarms. We had someone break one of the front windows to the front of our building and steal over $30k worth of products and about $4k worth of equipment so we decided to upgrade the alarm system, security camera system and install bars on the inside of the windows. Mount Pleasant came out and took a look at the job and gave us a quote that was a decent price so we told them to go ahead with the job. Upon completion of the job i did a walk through with the owner of the company son and expressed concern about how the windows that were broken into did not have sensors installed on them, he assured me that the motion detector in the room would pick up any movement that occured and that there wasnt a need for sensors (even though there were sensors from the previous system still remaining on the windows). I didnt think much of it because hey, they are professionals right? They know this equipment better than me right? They arent trying to cut corners right? WRONG. Fast foreward 3 months, we have another break in. They break into the SAME window that they broke last time, were able to work through the broken window to unscrew the bars over the window from the inside and use a car jack to push the bars off the wall. This whole process took over 2 hours and the motion sensor didnt go off! The alarm finally goes off after the thiefs gained access and rob us for another $14k worth of products before leaving. The next morning i wake up and check my cameras to see that someone broke in and my first thought is, why didnt the alarm go off? Why didnt i get a call? Well i did get a call...except they CALLED THE WRONG NUMBER!!!! We got in touch with Mount Pleasant and they read back the number which they had, and i couldnt understand why they didnt have the right number, because i had the service contract right in front of me and it HAD THE RIGHT NUMBER on it!!!! Unbeliveable! The owner of the company came by the building to meet with my wife and see what went wrong today and he proceded to tell us that it wasnt his fault that the windows were not covered by the alarm and that if i wanted the windows alarmed i should have called him to ask for that, instead of telling his son who did the walk through with me and i signed the contract with -who clearly worked for the company as well. We told the owner that we wanted him to cover the loss of our product or refund our money for the install and service we had already paid because it was their fault that the windows werent protected and we didnt get a call to the right number when it mattered, his response was to try and sell us more sensors and more devices to protect the roof?!? We ended up removing all of our windows and filling the spaces in with cynder blocks, which was a nice $3700 expense to have to pay, the day after being robbed for the second time in 3 months. Our response was that we wanted him to get his junk alarm system out of our building and we requested a refund because we paid for the whole years worth of monitoring and the install up front, in cash all at once. He refused and told me that i can remove the system if i want but im still responsible for the rest of the three year contract and i can not just cancel it. He also blamed everybody under the sun for the lack of window sensors including myself, explainig that it was "a rushed job and wasnt taken seriously", (an actual quote from the owner) he told me that if i wanted window sensors i should have told HIM not his son-who handled the walk though, install, and contract. The owner obviously does not stand behind his company and employees work. I will be removing this garbage alarm system and going to install one with the company that handles our other properties as well as spreading the word about our expierence with this company. I hope this review finds its way to anybody considering hiring this incompetent company to safegaurd their property. What kind of alarm company doesnt call the right phone number when someone breaks in? What kind of alarm company doesnt install window sensors on a job that just had a burgulary where the windows were smashed out? What kind of comapny blames the CUSTOMER for a rushed install and sloppy work? -MOUNT PLEASANT ALARMS thats who.

These guys use really good systems (we looked at some other reviews about 2gig), everything is monitored 24/7, and they use the alarm.com app so we can arm/disarm from our phones, bonus. we also got a camera for inside near the door, and we can see the live feed from anywhere. They guy who gave us the quote over the phone knew his stuff and was really helpful, and they scheduled an installer to come out the next day. The install probably took 2-3 hours, everything looked clean and professional, and he showed us how to use everything before he left. they had some cool home automation stuff, like door locks and a smart thermostat that we might add later, my fiance was all about it. they called the next day to make sure everything was to our liking. pretty much a perfect experience.
