My smoothie was ok Geesh place is failing because of the other restaurants Need a revamp to be honest Nothing made you want to buy a smoothie

One sip and threw our juices in the trash. Most foul, bitter and worst juice I've ever had.

The picture says 1000 words. My boyfriend and I took one sip of our juices, gagged at the foul flavor and immediately threw them both in the trash. Not sure if the produce used was expired or what caused both flavors to be so disgusting (and we have tried some pretty intense green juices from Juice Press so it wasn't that it was too "green".)

Super Protein Plate with Brown rice

I went to pick up the Super Protein Plate for my hubby and he really enjoyed it. The service was fast and the food was fresh with a great aroma kinda like a fresh grill. I will try a plate from here and see how good it is. The menu is broad with so many different healthy options which makes the business represent the name exactly in every way. They have many different locations so I know this franchise will continue to branch out and grow. Great for fit people or just if you need all the right nutrition for your body especially if all other options are not the best choice.

    Chicken parmigiano quesadilla

I made an online order of the chicken parmigiano quesadilla and #18 energy steak wrap. My quesadilla was good. It had the right amount of sauce and lots of cheese, which is good because I love cheese. Unfortunately, my boyfriend received the steak and egg breakfast wrap. Although he was initially disappointed, he still enjoyed it. The wrap was pretty hefty. He was only able to eat half of it. For drinks, I ordered the pina colada with no bananas because I'm not a fan of them. It was so tangy that I wasn't able to drink it. I guess that's why the bananas were needed. Lol. My boyfriend had the cool breeze smoothie which he downed in 2 mins so I'm guessing it was great. I took off one star because my boyfriend was given the wrong sandwich and I didn't like my pina colada but besides that, I have no complaints.

POSITIVES: Very healthy food that tastes pretty good. Excellent choice if you're on a fitness kick. The restaurant is reasonably clean and has adequate seating. NEGATIVES: The service is slow. The staff are not very friendly and often seem annoyed to be serving you. Prices are a little high for a takeout shop.

Breakfast of Champions was amazingggggg! You can't see it but the bottom of the plate has 2 thick multi grain pancakes.

First time here after 3 months of back and forth feelings based on the reviews. I'm gaining so much and it's my only fast option in this area for healthy food so I sucked it up today. Thank goodness I wasn't disappointed. First of all, the young lady who helped me was super sweet!!!! Her helpful w/ recommendations were well worth it! I had the breakfast of champions and the energy booster and I had to split it all into two portions so much food!! I'm very excited about the first experience especially because this healthy journey is going to drive me insane but hopefully they can help change that. Customer service consistancy to change the view of those old reviews as well would be a plus.

However, I think that goes to show how much people actually like this place. I was there a few weeks ago, and I'm just now getting to review it, but I feel like I should have done this earlier! I had been coming back from the Brooklyn Museum, and it was raining very badly. I was hungry, and I wanted somewhere to go just so I would not be in the rain. I was with one of my friends who was also hungry and just wanted to get out of the rain. We found this place, and we both loved it very much. The food was served fairly fast despite there being quite a few people there, the servers were funny, the presentation was STUNNING, and the chicken was perfectly cooked. They also warmed our pastries up, which is SUCH a big thing for both of us. We love that it was offered upon just ordering our pastries. Also, the decor in there was beautiful. It was warm, it smelled so good, and I was sitting at the window, so I got a view of the street! The people working there were kind, the people ORDERING were kind, and honestly, I can not say anything bad about how the place looked. Cozy alone does not do this place justice. The prices were fair. They were not exactly cheap, but it was so worth it. Another thing I'm big on is that I'm quite picky. I don't eat much at restaurants because I nearly always find something I don't like or someone forgets to leave something out of my order. They didn't. I have no complaints. Only praise, this place was great, and I am planning on coming back with my friend!!

Cozy, gently lived-in feeling spot, clean and tidy and nicely decorated without feeling overly polished. On this first visit I just ordered a coffee and a Russian sandwich (bagel, chive cream cheese, smoked salmon, tomato, capers, olive oil and herb drizzle) and it was fantastic. Each element was great on its own. I sat down to eat for about 30 minutes and it was calm and quiet. The gentleman running the kitchen welcomed me and I asked what his favorite sandwich was and ordered that. He had good rapport with the regulars who stopped in. Penny House feels like a place that's part of the community fabric. Would definitely go here again and try more sandwiches :)

Even though there is a line, you do not feel rushed or pressured to order quickly. On this visit we ordered plain croissant, chocolate croissant-fresh out of the oven, rhubarb croissant, black forest pastry and brown butter corn cake. The chocolate croissant was amazing. It is triple chocolate and cocoa powder is in the dough. It is filled with milk and dark chocolate, so creamy. The plain croissant was flaky and light. The brown butter corn cake was crispy and caramelized on the outside and soft and moist. The Black Forest croissant is a seasonal offering. It is made with their Triple Chocolate Croissant filled with chocolate cake and sour cherries and topped with mascarpone cream , Rhubarb & Custard Croissant . It is tart and sweet. The rhubarb is roasted and complimented with sweet vanilla custard. They all were excellent. Each were about $8. Highly recommend and don't let the line deter you .

I ordered a chopped honey turkey with onions, pickles, lettuce and mayo. The guy who made my sandwich was soo friendly and patient. I just put my trust in him to hook it up lol. He also asked if I wanted to add the chips and I did. Overall my sandwhich was better the next day after it firmed up.
