Both Julian and Jim were very helpful and professional. It started off when I walked in the door and Julian greeted me and asked if I was Lou and there for an oil change on my Outback. Such a refreshing change from the local Subaru dealership who doesn't know who you are or what you're there for. Even with an appointment. And the pricing was much better than the dealership! Needless to say, there will be an encore visit to Encore!! read more

Excellent service! Friendly, professional staff all around! Did an all round diagnostic test on my Kona, and gave me an honest explanation of what needed to be done along with a cost quote. Will always return here for service! Thank you Julian for your personal touch! read more

Very professional team,. Julian was great and explained everything to me. Much better price and service than the dealer for Japanese cars.

First time visit to Encore. Very positive experience from Jim, Chris and Lucy at front counter. Quoted a price and called with exact price after inspection. Shuttle ride offered home and pick up when ready. Diego the driver was a pleasure to meet and extremely respectful. When picking up they give a list of recommendations to be done. Also pictures and measurements taken at time of service, shown on computer. Honesty 100% and very reasonable prices. This will be the only repair shop I will vist again. Thank you all so much! read more

Serviced by tech Chris. Super helpful and kind. Quick and easy/affordable process for my truck.

No long wait for a service appointment. Got us in and out quickly on a Friday. Full scheduled service on a 2013 Accord which is all fluids changed, also new brake pads and rotors turned. Fair price, exactly what I expected to pay but about 25% less than dealer. Nice clean shop. They text you a work order which you can approve online and even pay online so everything is quick and smooth. read more

I recently visited encore automotive at the suggestion of a friend who is a longtime customer of theirs. A couple of months ago, I had them service a 2007 Mazda Miata that I had just bought. I also asked them to inspect the vehicle to see if any other maintenance was needed. They did the service very quickly and efficiently, and they told me that there was no service needed beyond normal maintenance. I was thoroughly satisfied with the attention to detail and the work that they did. Last week, I took my wife's RX 350 in for routine maintenance. Once again, I was thoroughly satisfied with the work and attention to detail. I have found my new go to automotive shop. They are very friendly and they do great work without recommending unneeded work. read more

I had my breaks done yesterday at Encore Automotive and it was a pleasure working with Jim I expected to be charged for front and rear brakes but was told I only needed the rear ones. That just shows me, that this is an honest business. I highlyrecommend them D. Duran...Indio read more

I am somewhat new to Indio, and I needed brakes for my car last week. With the pandemic and a shortage of staff at many of the regular chain automobile repair  businesses I normally go to for automobile repairs, I did not have much luck trying to find an automobile repair shop to get new brakes in a timely manner. So I decided to see if I could find a nearby independent neighborhood automobile repair business, by using Yelp. To make my search easy, when possible, I try to select businesses that have a 4 to 5 star rating first. I was surprised that Encore Automotive came up with a 5 star rating! After reading their current Yelp reviews,  I was very impressed! So I stopped in one day, and the sales associate (Diego Zamora) assisted me. Diego was very nice, friendly, and professional. He quickly provided me with a very reasonable quote to service and replace the brakes on my automobile. I really appreciate the fact that Diego talked with me like a good friend that was very knowledgeable about automobile repairs vs. one of those often cold and rushed automobile service associates at car dealerships and those chain automobile repair shops.  At that point I scheduled an appointment to bring my automobile in. On the day that I brought my automobile in for the brake service and new brakes, Diego helped me once again. Again, he provided me with wonderful and outstanding customer service! I greatly appreciate Diego's politeness, patience, and helpfulness. I wish more automobile repair business offered such great and AWESOME customer service! Upon picking my automobile up after the brake service was complete, all I can say is nothing but good and positive things about my entire experience and exceptional customer service at Encore Automotive (from the beginning to the very end)! I plan to tell all of my family and friends about Encore Automotive for their automobile repair needs. They certainly offer quality service and parts here, that seem to be cheaper than going to the dealership to have the exact same work done. Since my automobile is no longer under the manufacture's warranty, I plan to start bringing my automobile here for all my automobile service and repair needs. Thanks a MILLION, Encore Automotive! :-) read more

I recently had my 2006 Honda Ridgeline serviced at Encore. The service was friendly, efficient, and honest. Quick work at a fair price. I won't be going anywhere else for my Japanese automobiles. Thanks, Jim. read more

I took my wife's Mazda 2017 6 for a routine oil change and I let Jim the service manager know that the Navigation/Entertainment system had been acting squirrely for a long time. Jim was able to get in the car and reset the system and all functions came back to life. This included the navigation/GPS system. This was a pleasant surprise since Mazda had quoted $1500 to replace the darkened screen. Always great and honest service from Encore Automotive. read more

I brought my wife's car in for an oil change and decided to wait for it. I made an appointment so as soon as I was checked in they got to work on my car. Jim, Astrid, and Lucy are always very nice and answer any question I have. If you don't want to wait they have a shuttle which is driven by Diego, another pleasant employee of Encore automotive. He can drop you off and pick you up when your vehicle is ready. Besides the awesome staff and techs this place is honest and has the best prices. They call you if they encounter a problem and will only do things with your approval. What they quote is what you pay. They also have complimentary coffee and water. Never going to the dealer again. Just wish they had a popcorn machine in the corner for the free entertainment read more

Based solely on reviews seen here, I tried out this service center to have fluids flushed and replaced in my 26 year old Toyota Pickup. Friendly, stellar service across the board! Having to wait, I was pleased to relax in their nice, clean, comfortable lobby. I was out of there in reasonable time, they took good care of my old truck, and their prices were exactly where they should be. The checklist of recommended future needed services was spot on, as I pay attention to these kinds of things. Upon paying my bill, I scheduled a new appointment for a different car. Sadly, in today's world, finding honest and 100% professional businesses is a difficult and daunting task. Encore Automotive is my new "go-to" for automotive services I cannot complete myself. Thank you! read more

How often do you see a review for a shop that couldn't fix your problems. But that's what I'm leaving here today. I have a 2013 Caddy that kept shutting down the ac due to high engine temperatures. They had to put in a few hours in trying to diagnose what was causing the problem. When all signs lead to the car's computer they called my to say they're not 100%sure but think it's the computer and it should go to the dealer. Why a 5 star review for something that didn't get fixed? Cause they didn't charge me anything.... No miscellaneous checks, no special charges to change out a bunch of things that wouldn't have fixed the issue but where they could pad a bill. By not being able to fix the problem they just gained my trust to send all my future repair work to them. read more

You won't get taken advantage of. I took my 2017 Ford F-150 thinking i needed new breaks and rotors cause of some break squeaking. After they looked at my vehicle I was told that my breaks are good. It was just the material of the break pads making the noise, sure they gave me some options to get rid of the squeaking but I opted not to since it wasn't necessary. read more

Did a great job lowering my Shelby Gt350. Was having trouble finding a reputable mechanic in the valley to do the job. They also found a leak in my rear shock. It's hard enough trying to find a honest, reliable, and trustworthy auto shop, but when they procrastinate on the work, and when you call them out of the negligence and they try to come up with a poor excuse as to why the didn't do anything to your vehicle ,well its downright disappointing, and you would think that they would right their wrong but instead get more excuses and at the same time they try to make it seem like the customer didn't explain themselves correctly? Horrible customer service plus customer negligence you get an encore of dissatisfaction instead of automotive. read more

I reviewed Yelp prior to scheduling service. Believe all the wonderful things are true for Encore. The level of professionalism was outstanding. The cost to repair my brakes were 20% less than the other quotes I received. Diego was fantastic in providing a ride home and picked me up when the car was ready. Jim was outstanding as well, detailing the recommendations to repair my vehicle. I would give them Stars if I could. Will be a repeat customer for all my future auto repairs. read more

Took my Honda in for an oil change and routine maintenance. I was out in 45 minutes and far more reasonable the the awful Honda dealership. Made an appointment for tomorrow to have my other car checked out for a check engine light so we'll see how that goes. So far with one experience I'm a happy customer. Only thing missing is they are closed Saturdays and a car wash that the dealership offers. however, I'll gladly give up the car wash for this place. read more

Amazing place! I have a car that has been sitting in the garage for a while so one day in July when I needed to use it, I realized that the A/C was out. I called at 3:00 PM on a Friday afternoon and Astrid said they would look at it same day. I brought it in and after a short wait they told me it just needed freon; I am no car expert so I would have not know the difference between a freon recharge and needing a new compressor. The price was also extremely fair. I will be bringing the car back for any mechanical needs! HIGHLY recommended. read more

Thank you to the team at encore automotive for the best customer service. Not my first time here, i brought my ford explorer here last year for a whole new AC replacement, still working blowing ice cold. Today i took my ford explorer to get some suspension work done. I originally went in to get my upper/lower control arms replaced, as they looked into it, they discovered a few parts needing attention. They do not push you to buy this, to buy that, they recommend things and it's up to the customer to decide what they want to do. Very clean work. You won't regret coming here.
