    Blueberry matcha
    Deborah C.

Popped in on a whim after seeing Enclave all over my Instagram feed. The space was cute and very clean, staff was very friendly. I ordered a blueberry matcha and a biscuit to take to work with me and goodness gracious they were amazing. I think they source the matcha right from Japan , love to see it! I will be back.

I was in town for a quick work trip and a fellow Yelper suggested I visit Enclave since I was staying fairly close by. I'm a matcha fan so when I looked at their menu, I was even more sold on the idea. Tremont is a lovely area of Cleveland so being able to drive through was an added bonus. I arrived to discover a vibrant, yet quaint, shop. The big windows let the sunshine pour in while the exposed brick and plants gave it a naturalesque feel to it. They had a few tables and a bar area facing outside. They have a cute bookshelf back towards the bathroom, which was nice and clean. The service was friendly, but a little slow. That said, I know they are pretty new and I could hear them discussing the improvements they could make as they worked. We love to hear that! As for my matcha, I went with an iced black sesame latte with oatmilk and it was heavenly. I could tell they use a higher quality matcha than other places and the black sesame flavor had a subtle nutty taste to it. I also ordered a biscuit sandwich with egg and cheese. While tasty, I do wish I added a sauce of some type to it. They do have some things you can add on, including some fun options like everything chili crispy and cilantro chimichurri. Overall, I hope they do well and I would totally return!

I am a huge matcha fan and it's sad we don't have a huge matcha scene here until now! So excited to have this store be all about matcha! They do the strawberry puree super well and it pairs perfectly with the drink. I also love that they serve matcha tea as is too to keep it authentic like how Japan is. They also have cute books about matcha by the window for reading pleasure. This is definitely a must get anytime I'll be in Tremont!

They have delicious and unique cocktails in addition to lovely matcha drinks and some food. My carrot ginger marg was fantastic! The hoagie was well dressed with turkey arugula jam and cheese. Very humid inside but you adjust quickly.

So excited to have a matcha place in Cleveland! Went on a Saturday morning and it was busy, but that was expected given how new the cafe is. The inside is cute with a couple tables if you want to dine in. I got the strawberry matcha which was delicious. Unfortunately they were out of the breakfast sandwiches when I went, but I'll definitely be back to try those and other items on the menu!

The biscuits are so fresh and flavorful. I loved both sandwiches - one with egg tomato avocado and chimichurri, the other with chilli crisp everything seasoning egg and ham. My latte was perfect as well. I'm so glad Tremont has a matcha spot with excellent food! Can't wait to try the cocktails

Iced Strawberry Matcha and Fancy Biscuit sandwich

I'm matcha obsessed so I had to make a visit here as soon as I heard about it. It did not disappoint! I had the iced strawberry matcha with oat milk. It was perfect. I'm not certain, but I don't think any extra syrups or sugars were added, just the strawberry puree and whatever sweetness is in the oatmilk, so it wasn't a sugar bomb like many places make. Just a pleasant tasting matcha (exactly how I like it). Also ordered the Fancy Biscuit sandwich (egg, ham, fig jam, blue cheese, arugula) and it was so delicious! The biscuit was perfectly flaky but not oily and the fillings were unique. The inside of the cafe is bright and cute, but small. However, I was there on a busy weekend, and even though it was always packed, the table turnover was at a pace that no one was left standing. So it's probably exactly the right size. This will be added to my regular rotation!

Came opening morning and loved the drink options! I had a black sesame latte w oat milk and my friend had a persimmon matcha latte both tasted very good! The black sesame is nutty and really complemented the earthy matcha. The persimmon jam served with the biscuits was also so yummy and fresh. I loved the natural lighting in the cafe. Limited seating though.

I'm so happy Enclave opened in Tremont! It's a wonderful spot with friendly service, wide variety menu, and it's very clean. Might be one of the best matchas I've had! Excited to make frequent stops here this summer

I'm so sad about this, but this was not my favorite experience at Leavened. Customer service was great of course but my selections fell short. I got a mushroom and ricotta croissant, which was fine. I forgot the ricotta was supposed to be there because it mostly tasted liked mushroom, but it was good. I also got the cinnamon monkey bread. This was not good. It was seemingly cooked in the paper that it was served in so the top of the bread pieces were crunchy, the middle was softer and then everything else was completely stuck to the paper. I didn't get to eat about 1/3 of what I paid for and I had to work really hard for the other 1/3. Also, the bread had a very spicy taste. It must have been cinnamon and allspice, but it was entirely too much and very overpowering. It truly tasted like a spicy savory bread which is not what I was expecting or wanted. Monkey bread is usually gooey and sweet. This missed the mark, but that's okay. I'll certainly return for another treat soon. Also the bread was looking fire this day.

I think I've tried this place enough to finally declare it an overall disappointment. Today I tried…read morethe hoisin tofu sandwich. The bread was fresh and crusty, there were two small strips of tofu that had maybe been dribbled on by hoisin sauce at some point, some lettuce and jalapeño slices, and carrots. The sandwich was dry as a bone and a really sad empty version of a banh mi. The chocolate rye cookie I bought as a back up was thankfully still deliciously chocolatey and soft as usual. The guy at the register said the bread pudding still has a "cinnamon roll base, so it has orange in it" despite nothing in the sign denoting this awful addition to bread pudding and the fact that cinnamon rolls are not orange rolls. But I digress and I won't fight with a cashier over their poor decisions lol. Also got a cherry chocolate sourdough on impulse. Pray it is soft inside.

The games are very well organized, and there's even a suggestions list on the wall. Not to leave out, the lights and art make for a fantasy cottage core immersive space. I love shrooms! But obvi, The main reason to come here is for the games. You want cat games? They got purrfect choices! Pandas? Uh-huh that have it! Racoons? You bandit believe it! Wanna watch your friends meeples get eaten by sharks? You can hear with Survior Island! Parks and Trails? Have no fear... they got it here! Criminal games? Allegedly they have them ;) They have so many, that it was overwhelming to choose. Prices are fair, with about a $5 fee/gamer, with set times of 3 hours max typically. I'm sure if it was empty and if they didn't have other resi's or a waitlist, you could hang longer, especially if you have an extra $5 or something... Weekends, espeically in the winter, will be more crowded so be aware if others make you nervous. I personally get nervous about gaming when others are around. My brain shuts down and I loose critical thinking skills necessary to win. And winning is life. Onward, the food was meh. I ordered the cheese flatbread 'Za, hoping to channel my inner teenage mutant ninja turtle and smash my fellow turtle completion. But the pizza was bland. It was like pita with cheese on. I'd say, go somewhere else and get food, and go here for the games and dranks. The latte was delicious, and I actually ordered a second. It was just the extra sweetness & energy boost I needed to crush my competition. You already know I like to check out the restrooms. They had two gender neutral large accessible restrooms, from what I discovered on my exploration, and they were clean, with adequate lighting and finishes. Parking is scattered across the street, but there's the large westside market lot available. With Mitchell's Icecream (yes the train was working at this one last time I went), Ohio City Burrito, and a plethora of options, you can't go wrong! Now, back to the games - I will say, some of the games are very advanced and will require extensive set up and knowledge on how to play. If there's game you're interested in playing, and you have little knowledge, I recommend looking up the rules first and checking out tutorial vids. Otherwise, you'll waste a lot of time figuring out the logistics. If you wanna go from bored to board games, I recommend this place!

CASH ONLY as of 8/9/2024!!!!…read more I've had an obsession with cubanos for years! I once spent an entire vacation in Sarasota just hitting up Cuban restaurants and eat all the cubanos I could. So once I found myself in the area on one of the few days Sabor Miami is open each week, I called in an order of a cubano sandwich ($12.50) and a cubano empanada ($3.50). They were ready in 15 minutes during which I looked around the restaurant's cute interior and themed merch for sale. I ate the sandwich immediately. This was one BIG honker of a sandwich! It kept me full for hours! The bread was toasted and incredible and the pork was tender and salty. The cheese was a bit too processed and of low quality, unfortunately. Meanwhile, the empanada is very small. For $3.50, I was expecting something bigger and stuffed with more filling. This was going to be my dinner (so I ate it a few hours after I ordered it) but ended up just being an afternoon snack. It was tasty though! I wouldn't mind having the sandwich again, that's for sure! The staff was also very friendly.
