If you want it to sound like a genuinely angry and dissatisfied customer while remaining…read moreprofessional and credible, you could write: I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Bamboo Nails. I have been a loyal customer and have visited this salon at least 4-5 times for nail and pedicure services. Just a month ago, I spent nearly $250, including tips, for a pedicure and acrylic nail extension service, and I left satisfied. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was completely unacceptable. I booked an appointment simply to have my gel removed. Despite having an appointment, I was made to wait for over 30 minutes. When I was finally attended to, the technician seemed overwhelmed, distracted, and more focused on everything else happening around him than on the customer sitting in front of him. Multiple times, he used the electric file on my natural nails instead of the gel, causing discomfort and repeatedly apologizing afterward. What frustrated me most was that he kept walking away, talking to other people, and taking his eyes off my hands while working on me. The entire service felt rushed and careless. I couldn't help but feel that because I was only paying for a $20 service, I wasn't considered worth the time or attention given to higher-paying customers. I completely understand that Fridays are busy. However, if the salon is too busy to provide proper service, then appointments should not be accepted. I took the time to travel there, spend my money, and honor my appointment, only to receive a service that felt rushed, inattentive, and frankly worthless. Bamboo Nails has many positive reviews, and I have personally had good experiences there before. That is exactly why this visit was so shocking and disappointing. After this experience, I will seriously think twice before spending another dollar at this salon.

She did a great job executing the top part of my nails and shortening them as I requested as I am starting a pottery class I need them short for. My issue is the fact that the thumbs and pointer fingers were not executed well in terms of the refill. I left the salon and noticed giant gaps on my thumbs. These photos were taken less than 24 hours after getting my nails done and it looks like my thumbs have been grown out for over 1 week. I have been getting my nails done for years and they do not grow this fast and I have never had them look like this immediately after leaving a Salon. They were asking me to pay $25 to get the refill fixed and repolished. The only thing they are offering to do for free is to touch up the gel. So I was stuck with heavily grown out acrylic that will be masked by gel. I was speaking with Than over the past 2 days and I became more and more upset with my interaction with them. They were unwilling to offer me any better option to fix my thumbs and pointer fingers even though this was an error of their employee. In my one email I used the word "crappy" to describe the work done on my nails and then they refused me service altogether. I paid $60 for these nails that look grown out 1+ weeks and I have only had them for 3 days. These likely won't last for another week and I feel insanely ripped off. I am shocked by this and this is truly the worst experience I've had at a Richmond nail Salon yet. In response to owners response (on Google) These are nails that I wanted done for my anniversary and I am upset they look the way they do after just 3 days. The polish is not the concern so that was not a real solution. The solution offered to me was offensive as I was requested to pay 50% the cost of a 10 finger refill to fix 4 fingers when this was not done properly the first time by an employee of yours. I agreed in email that the other fingers seemed to have grown naturally but I provided photos from Saturday showing the giant gap on my thumbs. That was taken less than 24 hours later. I did not say something at the salon because I did not notice it until I got outside, nor was I asked if I liked them. I had dinner plans to get to so I could not spend more time there. I find it completely unnecessary to decline services to me for using the word "crappy". It seems to me based off of prior reviews that your business does not fix mistakes that you make.

I sat in a pedicure chair for about 10 minutes until they ran my water. The chair was THE best pedicure massage chair I've ever been in, so I didn't mind. My pedicure service began at about 5:25 p.m. and it was over by 5:45 p.m. I've never in my decades of pedicures gotten a 20 minute pedicure. They're usually 45-60 minutes! She zipped through it so quickly, paying no particular attention to the anything. Miraculously, the end result looked okay, so again, I wasn't too bothered. After my pedicure was finished, she started working on another client (taking her sweet time)... and didn't come back to me for a full 50 minutes to look at my nails. She said it was 30 minutes. I corrected her. It was another 10 (a full hour) before she actually started working on my dip. She apologized for the wait, but once again, she zipped through my dip so quickly... a mere 25 minutes when it's normally 65-75! I mean, why work so fast now? There were no other clients. Take your time with my nails and do a good job! She cut my nails way too short. She did next to nothing with my cuticles. And my final result shows ridges and file marks in my nails! She said she could fix it and asked me to come back tomorrow. WHAT?! You want me to waste MORE of my time so you can do what you should've done the first time? Hell to the no! She also told me my toes were dry, so I could put my socks and shoes on. WHAT?! Even I know how long toes take to dry and that socks basically for the rest of the day are a no no! While she was a nice person, what good is nice if you keep me waiting an hour and provide me with a terrible service? Never again. Please, Nancy. Come home soon!

She said you have to get a more expensive pedicure for it to be longer than 15 minutes and not rushed. I've never had a pedicure that was only 15 minutes. Such a waste of money. Could have done it at home. Worst pedicure I've gotten in two decades. The whole point of me going was to treat myself. Instead I played myself. As you can see from the pedicure menu I've posted, there is no indication that this is a 15 minute service. At least call it a "rapid" or "express" pedicure or something. She expected me to know that because it's "cheap" (26 dollars) that it's not a full pedicure and would only be 15 minutes. Never again.
