Once I attended the 7-hour straight training (8 hours if the attendees opt for a long break to eat) my confidence was high due to the gun education I gained and my fear of gun disappeared because I know what i'm doing. A lot of people will tell you that the concealed carry seminar is long and boring! Yes it's long but it didn't bore me at all. Jeff's class is very interesting, I learned a lot of things that I didn't know before. The class that I attended was a small one and it's worth it, the interaction with the attendees and instructor was a good one - questions were answered appropriately and we were able to practice with the computer simulated shooting prior to going to the shooting range. The practice was fun, it's hands-on in a very safe environment. The computer simulated practice will help you prepare for the real shooting at the firing range. Jeff will let you know what you missed doing, and this will prepare you prior to shooting the real gun! I was nervous at the firing range since it's my first taste of handling and shooting a real gun. But once the first 2 bullets were fired, the succeeding bullets are fun to fire and you kinda get the slight recoil of the gun - it's not that bad! Jeff is very professional, he's straight to the point when he's doing his class, he listens and he knows when to move on to the next subject making sure we don't stay on a certain topic too long. Bottomline, the education on gun safety and firing that I learned from Jeff with "Not Today Firearm Training" is worth it & I highly recommend it because knowledge took my fear of handling the gun!

9/14/19 Today I've completed Armed Citizen: Every Day Carry (EDC) with Defensive and Tactical…read moreApplications (DTA). This is my 3rd consecutive yr completing this class. Each time, the shoothouse is rearranged to accommodate realistic, every day scenarios for students to complete with role players. This is a force-on-force class using UTM munitions. Today we completed 9 scenarios, anything from getting out of your car, going into a store, or just getting home from work. Each scenario encompassed shoot/no shoot decisions with multiple roleplayers involved. This class takes you out of the "square range" shooting paper targets. UTMs feel like getting stung by a wasp too, so even with multiple layers of clothing, it stings every time you get shot. If an armed citizen truly wants to test their knowledge, situational awareness, and shooting ability, please consider taking force-on-force training at the Muncie Threat Assessment Center (MTAC) or at any similar facility near you. I've trained with Defensive and Tactical Applications (DTA) at MTAC for 3 years. I train with multiple other training companies too. While all companies do an excellent job, DTA is the only training company in Indiana providing this reality-based force-on-force training multiple times each year. Stopped in yesterday with 2 friends who wanted me to teach them how to shoot a semi-automatic…read morepistol. We filled out the required registration and waivers quickly on the laptops. We then chose a 9mm GLOCK for the gun rental, 200 rounds of 9mm 115 grain Luger ammunition, and a silhouette target. I provided "eyes & ears" for each of us. Total for all this and 2 hours of range time was approximately ~$120. My friend paid because I wasn't shooting, just coaching. My friends HAD A BLAST and REALLY ENJOYED learning how to shoot a pistol. Neither had experience with a pistol before and soon they were "all in the black" on a target ~10 feet downrange. Lots of fun and smiles for the money! I recommend this range for it's SAFETY & CLEANLINESS.

It needed to be repaired and the wonderful people at ADT said that they'd fix the system, if mum subscribed to monitoring. She said that she would not, and they said that they couldn't help her. Isn't that extortion? Enter Koorsen. They were helpful on the phone and both extremely helpful at fixing problems with the system (replacing the keypad/system board, etc.) and extremely friendly. Plus, they did the work at a reasonable price, which is difficult to believe after my own experience with a security company in Florida. I'd certainly call them without hesitation.
