Decided to stop in for brunch. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by the food options. They have vegetarian and vegan menu items that also offer vegan cheese substitutes(!!). Today I had an order of corned beef hash and avocado toast (I ate half before taking this picture--serving size was good). I also loved the green tea, i did not get the brand name but it wasn't a typical Lipton. The service was spot on, no complaints. The ambiance was good. Went here on Saturday December 21st 2024 with my parents as a party of 3. We came here after stopping at Lowe's in Chester. So we were out and in the area. And I needed lunch or breakfast before I went to work. We were greeted in the front and sat down near the bar at a booth. Server greeted us right away, and my parents ordered coffees and I ordered a chocolate milk. For breakfast, I ordered a short stack of pancakes with hash browns, my dad ordered the patriot pancakes with blueberries and strawberries in and on the pancake. My mom ordered an omelet I think. We all enjoyed our breakfast and asked for 2 boxes, one for the hash browns and one for the patriot pancakes. Will say had the patriot pancakes leftover the next day, and they were delicious! Our waitress was prompt and friendly. I had high hopes as this seemed to be a local hangout with lots of regulars. I ordered the loaded potato omelette and my son had the Belgian waffle sundae. The omelette was not seasoned and just bland. The hash browns were also bland. I never add salt to my food and I had to sprinkle some on to be able to eat it. I can't say enough great things about it. The tuna sandwich had a lot to be desired. It was tasteless and bland and unappetizing. I paid $9 for the food and you'd think they would throw in a bag of potato chips and coleslaw! I understand it was a lunch special, but we're talking a small cup of soup and a half a sandwich on two slices of bread. A 2-year-old could eat that and not be full. In my opinion, that meal was worth $5 and not $9. I can't say I won't go to this diner anymore, but I surely will not order that ever again read more

We saw some less than great reviews but figured it couldn't be so bad. We walked in to see authentic stadium seats from Giants stadium, Shea Stadium and Yankee Stadium in the waiting area. That was pretty cool. The whole diner was very clean and comfortable with tons of delicious dessert options on display. We ordered waffle fries, chocolate chip pancakes and the Jumbo Combo Florentine omelette, which came with hash browns and buttered toast. To say we inhaled the plates would be an understatement.
