NEVER AGAIN I usually enjoy a good buffet. I think the highlight of this trip was when my son noticed the fish tank. I'll admit there were some cool ones in there. As far as the rest of my recent visit, I should turn them in. First you would think if you had to clean the floor it would be less expensive to have hard floors. This one family had a child with food all over the floor. Ok, it happens. It looked like the carpet really needed a good shampooing. Though I will say the staff seemed friendly, with my minimal interactions. But, they were slow as hell. On to the food. There is no way in hell the items I put in my mouth were anywhere near the holding temperature. 135° I figured, ok I'm starving. I went to get my dessert, that plate was so dirty I could've handed it to a blind person and they could've read "War and Peace". That was my breaking point. Good for an all you can eat buffet. Fresh sushi and food with everything fully stocked and no dishes left empty. Everything from pizza to lo mein to crab and shrimp but just remember it is all you can eat and you get what you pay for. read more

Kids love it. Lots of selection in a nice clean environment. Friendly waitress's. But it's a buffet so nothing is really delicious ya know? But like I said I filled my stomach and the kids love it so it works. read more

Definitely the best Chinese buffet I've been to in the area. It's a Chinese buffet, so, I mean, most things aren't that good, but you came for rangoons, and they are on point. The krab-based sushi is surprisingly edible, but the fish-based sushi is a little sketchy. Certainly not the worst 6.99 you can spend on lunch. read more

It's a Chinese buffet, price is great for lunch! And the best place to stop for a quick bit to eat .... but it's a Chinese buffet.

As far as buffets go, it wasn't bad at all. Actually for a Chinese buffet had crab legs and they kept refilling them instead of the ones that only have 2 or 3 and then they bring out two or three half an hour later. Very good dessert selection I wasn't just stuck with ice cream or jello there is a lot of different kinds fresh fruit all in all not too bad is it just not 5 stars either read more

The food is ok, it is a huge place with a lot of options and the service is really good. The food is consistent and a good value. Usually 1-2 options that may have been sitting too long on a given night. I'd recommend going for lunch as it's a better value. read more

Poor service with vad manners, ice tea had tea leaves in it, sushi warm and dry, soup has particles in it, no real flavor in any food, no variety of food. Not a good pick for a night out at all. read more

Very clean and friendly staff. The hot foods were all really fresh and great quality. The sushi was pretty good and not just imitation crab, real tuna. Definitely looking forward to the next visit. Lunch with a Pepsi was $10, great value for the quality. read more

BEWARE.....after eating here as soon as we walked out there was someone throwing up right in the parking lot. giving the restaurant the benefit of the doubt I though it was just a random occurrence, little did I know I'd be home vomiting my guts out later that night. Being from New Jersey, I am used to highly competitive food establishments, so this was a one shot visit for me. Much like what Bonnie posted, they shouldn't advertise the crab legs as they as not the large claws at all, over cooked and tasteless. And you absolutely have to ask or they do not put any out. I do like Empire Buffet. The food is great, it is fresh and attended to very well, HOWEVER, crab legs are a different story. They really don't want to give them up. I think the only reason they put them out is so they can raise the dinner price. The only way I have ever got any of them is to ask and then stand there and wait for them. My guess is that one in twenty people get them. They put off putting them out for as long as they can. I suggest if you want crab legs to go somewhere where you might actually get them. read more

WORST FOOD EVER!!!! Don't bother wasting your time or money there! The food that was supposed to be hot was cold. The place was filthy! I had a feeling that I should just turn around and walk out when I arrived. I should have followed my instincts. The staff was rude and when we complained about the food, not even an apology. I sit in the restaurant as I write this. I came here with my mum and my daughter. First off, there was some sort of paper floating around the tea. Secondly, we were ignored and given the check prematurely as if to shoo us out. I was bumped into by one of the waitresses. Also, being a health conscious mum, I try to keep my daughter eating healthy food. She is 8. They have something that she got on the dessert buffet that looks and tastes like pure whipped cream. Not a dish topping it. Just plain whipped cream out like a dessert. Needless to say that is not going to be eaten. I made her leave it and its currently sitting on the side of the table waiting to be taken away by the negligent wait staff. There are children running about. Not sure if they belong to the employees or if their lack of adult supervision required at the bar is allowing customers' children run around. The food is average. Not sure why so many rave over this dirty place. Perhaps it's the locals don't understand good Chinese food because of their lack of options. Sadly, most of the people living out here don't know and have never eaten quality Chinese food in their lives, so they ignorantly believe this place is "good." read more

We will never back to this place. We got there around 5:50pm. When we went to get our food, 2 plates were dirty. My husband and I sampled a verity of food. None of it was hot, and it wasn't even warm. My husband's egg roll was still frozen in the middle. He told the waitress when she came to pick up our plates and I told her all the food left on the plate was stone cold. We hardly ate any of the what we had on our plates. More people came in so we were hoping more food was brought out and it was hot. Nothing was hot, but it was warm. The taste was awful, it was so greasy. So we hardly ate anything and asked for our check. When we went to pay, they asked how was your dinner and we told her. She just looked at us and then looked at the woman taking the money and she said to her, what should we do, how about an even $20.00. We just looked at her, because with our 10% coupon we should have gotten 2 cents back from a 20.00 bill. We just paid her and left. We shouldn't have been charged anything. The food was just NASTY, we will never go there again and I wouldn't recommend this buffet to anyone. read more
