I went there at 1pm on a weekday afternoon. It was decently busy and got busier shortly after I arrived so there's no reason for the food to be cold. Not warm, mind you, but cold. Virtually all of it. The sushi was bad even by buffet standards and everything else was cold. The waiter assigned to my table took until nearly the end of my sushi plate (my idea of appetizers) to come and take my drink order. Until then he was sitting at a table and it looked like he was filling out a form. He returned to the form and sat there long after I finished my drink, by like nearly ten minutes, to come and ask if I wanted a refill. Bad food, cold food, bad service. We ate there for lunch thinking it was gonna be like Hometown Buffet, but it was an Asian buffet. That was ok with me, but not my first choice. I looked around and at first glance was impressed by the variety. After I started gathering food I realized nothing was exceptional, most things were average, and some things were sub-par. The problem with any of these asian dishes, is they don't hold up well over time sitting there waiting for people to eat them. I ate here about 10 years ago. Really bad service and food was not good but friend insisted to come here. Chalked up the bad service as typical asian place. I'm asian so I am used to it. Was in the area recently and decided to pop in. No one was eating there at the time, do I asked if we can take a look before we decide to eat here or not. As we walked around the good trays, I notice that the other customer was probably not a customer, she was stealing crab legs and chicken. At first glance from outside the store you kind of expect a typical buffet. Once you walk inside you see a great selection of food which is nice. However the service is quite horrid and the quality of the food is borderline mediocre. Some of their items aren't tasty like their chicken on the stick. I couldn't even chew it and it tasted like cardboard.. However their chow mein is better than the one I had in Berkeley. My other half has recommended for me to try their coconut shrimp which I've never eaten before in my life. That choice was the best because it was actually delicious and didn't taste like cardboard. The food was soooooooooooo good and fresh. We were there for almost 2 hours eating away. They serve chiness dishes and sushi and Mongolian BBQ, You can choose what you want to eat and they'll cook it right in front of you how cool is that. My Favorite are the cook clam and Sweet and Sour Soup, As many time that I go there can never stay away from those 2 dishes, don't get me wrong those are not what I just eat . Cook crab when it firt come out is my favorite too. Dinner is decicioussss. So we drive by this area several times and had seen it. Thought we would check it out to see how it is. We went around 1:30 or 2pm in the afternoon. It had about 8-10 other patrons. They had quite a variety of diff entres but the place didn't look all that clean and inviting to me. Inexpensive, decent buffet. Good is the Teppan and the sushi is okay. They have TONS of food choices. Everything is decent. The price is McDonalds no. 6. I'd rather eat here. Been coming here for years and it's always been good. Better at dinner but more expensive. Me and 2 buddies dropped by here this past Monday for they said they ate before and they were talking highly about so i said why the hell not!? It was good for my standards and the selection is pretty good considering they have also Alaskan Crab Legs (Do you people have an idea how much are these things per pound!?) and they have Pork chops and crab rangoon. They pretty much covered everything including a Sushi bar and a Noodle bar + desserts cakes. Parties and a frozen yogurt machine.We had a great time & our guts are filled to our necks in food so complaints here. The service sucks indeed but the food isn't bad at all especially if you come after 4 or 5 PM because thats when they start serving really nice crab meat, fish, oysters and so on, and you will be charged a little more for that too. I come to that place just because of that anyway and i get my plate and serve myself with all the seafood that i can eat. Also, this is not a restaurant but a buffet, so get up and serve yourself. I don't like the chicken nuggets, pizza or fries there because it tastes weird and why would you want to eat that at the buffet anyway??? Go to fast food place instead, duh. A whord of my family and relatives came here for an Easter lunch. I don't really like chinese buffets but I guess this place is OK. The only think I kinda liked was the roasted duck and fried chicken wings. Avoid the roasted beef which was waaaaaay overcooked. You have to carve it yourself and I gave up after sawing back and forth for about 30 seconds only to find I've only cut a few centimeters into it. You'll see the usual chow mein, dumplings, stir fries, veggie stuff, and lots and lots of fried things. Overall not bad, not excellent, just what you'd expect for food that's been in warming trays. They have a good selection, such as sushi, your typical greasy Chinese fare, and they even have crab legs! My parents love the crab legs. They go straight for that and bring back plates of it to the table. We come here often for the buffet. We used to be a fan here. The foods were good. The service was good. The prices were average. Then, they began to substituted the food... gone were the Peking duck, the frog legs. The service stay the same though. Then one day, we found a bug in our soup. Free dinner for that person. But whatever about that, I'm sure something eventually end up in some food somewhere no matter how clean they try to keep the place. So, let's call it bad luck. But, what finally did it was when they cooked their own foods instead of eating the same ones that they cooked for customer. Mind you this was about 9:30pm where the foods were still plentiful and the customers are not coming in. No Chinese buffets that I have ever been to cook their own food to eat and serve the customers something else. Plus the fact that we found a bug of some sort in the clamp chowder a few weeks before did them in for me. I'm not paranoid, but if the cook won't eat the food that they've prepared and served to the customers then it's something to think about. Anyway, draw your own conclusions. read more

I would not recommend you coming here.The only reason I gave them 2 stars is because service was good and I didn't have to wait to long for a table. But the food is barely passable. Some of it was OK but the majority of it did not taste at all the way I was expecting it to taste. But again, the service was good, my glass was never empty and I never had a dirty plate on my table. Wow!!! Let's begin, use to be a regular patron here when my family and friends were over this seem like a typical eatery for huge gathering but... Yes but a couple months ago I came here with some of my house mates which consist of me, my bf and my brother.. Mine you we were just running errands and I wanted some walnut shrimp so here we are.. Had a great time and ate fat!!! My only main concern was that when it came to pay, I handed the man at the register which in turn I will later find out is also the (owner) my debit card, he slid my card once and hands me my card, jumps to take a phone call from his personal phone, we are waiting for my debit card to approve.. He then says to me oh can you slide your card again, I said no I am not being double charged.. He then says oh no no the machine times out, after this I comply, card is charged, and we go home on our marry way.. Thinking nothing of it. The following day I check my bank statements and I go up there, he says hes sorry its a mistake and in 5-7 business days money will be returned.. After 5-9days I go back there, with receipts, my bank statement and a letter receipt I made the owner sign on my first return that my monies will be back on my debit card. So on the last attempt they cash me out and apologize, I actually loved chilling with the fam here but all that fuckery because the owner fucked up and didnt want to take responsiblity for a mistake he made.. Jeebuz!!! That was a $120 ticket for 3ppl a buffet gtfoh.. For that reason I'll say bring cash, and dont use there restrooms..
