I was seriously craving pho for the past few days I'm happy we found this place that closes a little later than 8pm. The food was really good, the summer rolls were a bit more veggie over meat yet it was still really good super restaurant before digging into our other meal the peanut sauce it came with I found to be a bit to sweet for me though. The soup was a bit to light for my taste but I do have a heavier taste for soup than others so for a light and refreshing soup it's great. My boyfriend and I both ordered large I expected it to be a fake large and be more like a medium while a regular would be smaller like most places, nope! The sizes here are actually pretty big, super filling couldn't even finish my bowl the veggies super fresh. I had also ordered a drink called moonlight that I just love slowly drinking or else it'll be gone in one gulp! They even brought us forks without having to ask just to make sure we're all comfortable. It's not that big of a store but it's a good size feels nice and cozy while the bathroom is also a good size, it's clean and well stocked.

Soup was salty and had slight sour taste. Could have used some more fried onions. But overall a decent bowl of pho. Restaurant was very clean compared to other busier pho shops. Plenty of parking available in the parking lot.
My son was craving for some Pho. He misses Kevin's in Daly City. We've decided to give this place a try. Very friendly staff. Menu was straightforward. I ordered the traditional beef and meatballs Pho. I was hoping they have options with noodles but they don't. The one piece of egg roll was delicious. The regular size was big enough to get you full. We were very satisfied. Would like to try any rice plates next time.
I tried to like the flavors. I wanted to love the grilled chicken. As the server said "so it's a personal preference"... I guess so. The rice and fried rolls were really good. The refresher was a delicious. The Kiddo lived her pho... The service was good. Good came out quickly and was hot.

It was quite large. It is cold rice noodles topped with shredded lettuce, cucumbers , bean sprouts, peanuts, and a very tasty grilled chicken. It has a fish sauce dressing on the side. It was very delicious and a great value. I loved it!
Always get takeout on a cold rainy day. They have a good selection and options on their menu. The servers were friendly when I picked my order. Their dining area is pretty decent, seats a good amount of people. When I got there my order was ready. Gave me my order and I was on my way. Their broth has a nice flavor, that's why I like coming to Pho Hoa.

The broth had no flavor at all, and while I know some people enjoy chewier noodles, these were extremely chewy and tasted off. The worst part, though, was the chicken. It was completely inedible -- super dry, rubbery, and tasted old. I genuinely tried to finish it, but my body literally would not let me eat it. I gave it more than a fair chance, but I won't be coming back again.

Very drafty as the bitter cold wind blows in through their doors. One family is literally using a blanket at their table to keep themselves warm. These teenagers still running this restaurant still think they're running a nightclub and they don't believe in turning on the heater for their patrons.. Pathetic.
I usually don't leave reviews. I would rather just not return any more, but this took the cake. I'm writing to express my frustration with a recent experience at Pho Hoa Noodle Soup in Pinole. While I've generally enjoyed the food and service, I was disappointed when told there was a $0.25 cent charge for a to-go container for my Pho. After already paying for my meal which was $53.00, being asked to pay extra simply to take home my leftovers that I paid for is unreasonable. I understand that businesses face rising costs, but small, unexpected fees like this can leave a negative impression. They would have been better off raising the price of a meal that no one would notice, rather than the way it was handled. WE WILL NOT BE BACK
Here for the banh mi, Vietnamese Iced Coffee, the avocado roll, and the fried roll. While Pho is not my go-to order, I will gladly join a lunch date to order other favorites. Tucked away on Pinole Valley Road, Pho Hoa Noodle Soup serves super affordable, fresh, and filling Vietnamese snacks, Vermicelli bowls, meat/rice plates, banh mi, and yummy drinks. Good to-go or for a fast-casual seated experience, friendly customer service, and food that will leave you and your wallet feeling right. The avocado roll has fully sliced pieces and does not skimp which I love (omg could bottle up the peanut dipping sauce, soooo good), the fried roll filled with minced shrimp, vegetables, and chicken (literally the best), and super solid grilled chicken and grilled pork banh mi..I still have a few favorite spots in the East Bay for these, so stay tuned there! Parking is typically busy because Trader Joe's is in the same center, but can usually grab a spot. Would def return if I'm in the area!

Lots of chicken The beef pho we ordered large, the steak was rough, not your regular thin slice beef in pho, also lots of noodles but not a lot of beef and other ingredients. Wish there was meatball in it too for this combination dish. The soup is not authentic. It has way too strong of a star anise flavor The jasmine milk tea was huge for the price. But it was not good. Too bland and the boba was too chewy. The best thing from the meal was the ice coffee! Wish they have a large option. All in all, the food was mediocre. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing. They did give me a $2 off promotion for some reason. They said you get it if you have $40 and above. I'm not sure if I will be back. But the price was reasonable . So I might come back to try other things if I feel like taking the risk!

The service is decent, they bring out your food pretty fast and get your orders down quickly. They usually greet you normally get your order and then you have to go back up for your check. They don't really check in on you throughout the meal. I will say the portions are pretty small, especially for takeout a XL is like a Small/medium size. The regular (dine-in) is about a medium sized bowl whole the XL size is about a medium/large sized portion. I usually get the number 48( spice sate) which is pretty good. Very flavorful without it feeling too heavy or salty. It isn't really spicy, but more on the mild side. I will say that in the past I ordered a summer roll for take out and found a rubber band wrapped inside. :( I have also had a few orders messed up, but they were more than willing to fix my order! Overall, it's decent place but not the best place to grab pho in the area. There aren't many pho places around to begin with but it's still subpar compared to some other pho places close by.

Glad to live within minutes of pho spots and Pho Hoa is a popular reliable chain that does the job when the craving hits. I usually go to Pho Craze, but when it's closed I rely on Pho Hoa's big steamy beef pho and crispy egg rolls to brighten up a cold rainy day, which are the types of days I like to visit. Ambiance is bright and modern with cool hues of blues and greens. A gripe I have is with their service, which is hit or miss depending on the crowd size. There has been confusion on whether to order from the table or at the counter, resulting in disorganization of service and longer wait times. I've learned to order at the counter when it's crowded so you don't end up with ppl inadvertently cutting in front of you. Also the meat quality in the pho isn't the best but it is also a few bucks less expensive than Pho Craze's #1's pho with premium beef. read more

Have come here MANY TIMES PREVIOUSLY and have NEVER had such rude service. This boy told me I couldn't sit at a certain table while waiting for my food. There were 7 other open tables other than mine. The younger women working with him tried to tell him I was waiting for my food but there seemed to be a language barrier. I got a refund for my drink I ordered while waiting for my food. Sadly, couldn't get my pho refunded because I ordered it through DoorDash. I'll talk that up with DoorDash. NEVER WILL I COME BACK HERE. Will find another pho place. read more

This place has very good food. My fav is the wire hot and sour seafood pho, but pretty much anything you get is gonna be a win. Prices were a little bit more acceptable when they had their discount when you spent $30+, but it's not a deal breaker either way. Only dishing didn't agree with was their beef stew, as it contained a usually high level of fat than I am used to, but maybe that's the way it's prepared where they are from. I only have been to Pho Hoa twice this year because there are just so many other Pho places near my work that I go to. Although this one is close distance to my house, I just never get a chance to visit until this month. Guess what, I finally check out this place and twice within 3 weeks. That's progress! For the first visit I ordered a regular size #5 Steak and flank Pho. First impression, good portion and the bowl was full. As for the Pho itself, the broth was tasty, the noodles were soft and tender and the meats were tasty and tender as well. This one officially passed the Pho taste test. For the second visit, today, we ordered the Vietnamese Beef Stew Pho and the vermicelli pork. For this review I wanted to focus on the Beef Stew Pho. It's my first time trying out the Vietnamese Beef Stew Pho. After a few slurp and a few bites on the beef, I was impressed! This broth was so tasty and full of flavors even without Sriracha and hoisin sauce. And the beef was flavorful and tender. The only disappointing part was how come I never ordered the Vietnamese Beef Stew Pho before? For sure, that will not happen again. So don't make the same mistake I did and order the Vietnamese Beef Stew Pho on your next visit. Tips: Since the broth has a reddish stew color, be careful while eating as the broth could splash on your clothes. I wasn't careful but the spots washed off with Spray n Wash. read more

Pricey for some pho, but come here for their garlic steak pho. Not sure what you would order otherwise. They charge $2.50 for extra meat while their bowls are already almost $12! For those who are not usual pho eaters, pho usually cost less than $10. They had a random picture of this model on one of their TVs which was weird to me and the waitress who helped us gave me an awkward eye contact stare and was monotone. Odd. Anyway, garlic steak pho is where it's at. The only thing I would ask is for more steak. read more
Coming off from the range with my son, I searched the area for the nearest pho as Jacob loves this Vietnamese soup dearly. Quick search in Yelp yielded Pho Hoa not to far away. I reckon, Pho Hoa is a long time chain and I believe it has been decades since I have stepped into one. Per usual, Jacob got his pho without any veggies and I chose to pick my usual, Beef Stew. For good measure, I ordered an Avocado smoothie to wash down our meal. At best, the dishes we mediocre at best. My beef stew lacked the 'gut punch' flavor I have been accustomed from my favorite spots. The smoothie was a little bland as well. Pho Hoa was sufficient enough to satisfy Jacob's cravings. But if we had more time to drive a little farther, I would have chosen a different place to get our pho fix. read more

Ooofff. My husband and I went to eat lunch here today, we saw this gentleman with the blue gloves handle multiple things without changing them. He handled money, food, trash, drinks, cleaned tables with Lysol, all without changing his gloves. My husband went up to pay for our unfinished meal bc cmon, that's nasty. & he asked the guy if he had washed his hands, the guy kept saying no but that he had changed his gloves. He did NOT. I was craving pho so I ordered pho gao (chicken pho) and tofu spring roll via DoorDash today. This was my first time trying this restaurant and I'm pretty pleased with my order! Chicken pho ($11.95): Portion was a bit small for this price but they do not skimp on the chicken! The chicken was a bit tough but not too bad! Broth was good and perfect for such a chilly day! They were also generous with the cilantro and onion! In addition to that, they included the typical herbs and veggies to pix in with the soup such as basil, jalapeño, bean sprout and lime! Tofu spring roll ($3): this was essentially one roll cut in half, I was hoping for at least 4 pieces, but can't complain since it was $3! This item came with a peanut dipping sauce and I highly recommend you try it! It was sweet, slightly tangy, not spicy at all! For those who like a bit spice, I recommend adding sriracha! I also added a note to include extra sauce and they listened! They gave me two containers of the peanut sauce! Overall, I'm very pleased and the food arrived earlier than expected! So here's my update to my previous review. I got their R22 (Grilled Lemongrass Pork chop & fried egg) and Viet iced coffee. Seems like I got more iced coffee this time which is nice. The rice plate seemed to be better than their pho (in my opinion). Perfectly fried egg and the lemongrass pork chop was very flavorful. The fresh veggies were nice to munch down with and the sauce poured over the rice and meat was the way to go. I think that they do a better job with rice plates than their pho. Still would need to try out their other soups. But that'll have to wait another time. read more

Where was this place at when I attended Pinole Valley High School in the late 1990s? Would you believe this use to be Krispy Kreme? I try this place out the first week it open. I was impress how the old Kripsy Kreme became a Vietnamese place (The inside is great). The menu were easy to understand on the ingredient on the food. I been supporting this business during the pandemic. I recently found out they had outside dinning with umbrella to protect the people from the sun. It is worth eating outdoor watching the people walking around. I had their Banh Mi sandwiches. The sandwiches were amazing. I love the Grilled Chicken and the Grilled Pork Banh Mi sandwich. The Sweet Chili Salmon Rice Plate is amazing. The Salmon is the right proportion to eat. The Grilled Chicken & Fried Roll is my favorite dish to have. Ordered online for pickup though Yelp, and that process was definitely seamless. My main critique is that never got a notification that my food was ready, no email, no text message or in-app notice. I tried calling the restaurant to see if I could come in, but there was no answer after letting it ring about 10 times. I ordered both chicken and pork banh mi, the hot and sour seafood pho, the brisket/flank/tendon/tripe pho and the lemongrass pork chop/fried egg rice plate. All of the dishes were pretty good, but I highly recommend the lemongrass pork chop rice plate. You can tell the meat had been marinating for hours, if not overnight. Super flavorful and tender, served with a standard scoop of white rice, iceberg lettuce and pickled carrots and radish. I think they use the same meat in the banh mi, which had a good portion of meat as well. I would love to come back and enjoy their pho dining in because taking it home just isn't the same for me. read more

We are happy that Pho Hoa opened up a branch in our town. We don't need to drive far for a good bowl of pho. Their broth is flavorful without the condiments. Their service is friendly and attentive. During cold weather, this is the perfect place to go to for a nice warm comfort food. Their menu has different Vietnamese dishes to try. I've had their bone-in brisket soup and banh mi. They're all good. If you haven't gone to this place, I highly recommend that you try it. We've gone back numerous times. read more
