I hadn't been to this restaurant before but it is stunning and now I really want to come back for a real meal haha. They had a live band playing and I love that their wall opens up to Water Street and is basically a patio. It's gorgeous here. Our servers were great and so nice with us. I was the only one eating but my family all ordered drinks. I got the hot honey chicken sandwich and it was really freaking good. I'm obsessed with hot honey these days and it really hit the spot. It came with fries which were also really good. This restaurant is gorgeous inside and reminds me of something you'd find downtown Vegas. I definitely want to come back again and get a real sit down experience. I'll be back for a date night for sure!

The meat is fantastic, the bun is excellent, but I'm just not a special sauce kind of person. All they need to do to make their burger really awesome is to carry some BBQ sauce. That's it. This entire establishment does not contain any form of BBQ sauce. Don't get me wrong, I am not somebody who would ever put it on a good steak! But burgers, wings, fries, this place offers a number of things that could be elevated by keeping a few bottles of BBQ in the fridge. Just give me the option, you don't even need to list it on the menu. I used to love the beef stroganoff that they had for a while, but I guess it must not have been popular because they got rid of it. It seems that in it's place they started offering a Shepards pie. I was excited about this meal until it arrived and the potatoes were filled with cheese. A Shepards pie does not traditionally have any cheese. So it is probably a good idea for the menu to mention that it is in there. In any case, I tried to order it sans the cheese but I guess it is pre mixed into the mash or something. They cant make it with no cheese. :( Lastly, and most depressingly, they took the shrimp appetizer off of the happy hour menu! This was a real kick-in-the-dick for me. I have probably came to BLVD Grille at least 10 times in the last year specifically because the happy hour $5 shrimp appetizer was so outstanding. I am genuinely depressed that they took it off the happy hour menu. I haven't tried the steaks yet, I want to, but most days, I'm just looking for some shrimp, a side of fries and a drink. I haven't given up on this place yet, but I feel like I'm losing my favorite menu items one by one.

Their variety of jams and butters made it fun for trying new flavors. Really good stuff! I'm a sucker for brisket and had to order the brisket plate. It comes with two side so I opted for mac & cheese and baked beans. The brisket was tender and flavorful. Both sides were solid, as well. It's a huge portion of food! First visit they gave us 1 water carafe for 6 people. I asked for a 2nd one, she never brought it out so I had to go inside and find the water myself. I also had to ask for straws etc because she gave us none :( Rest of the meal there was minimal service. 2nd visit same situation, very minimal service, 1 carafe for 6 people and I had to go inside and find someone to give me 2 extra carafes of water. Maybe I misunderstand the structure and the minimal service is intentional, seemed like there were plenty of stations around to sort of help yourself to condiments, they should just make the water self service as well. ‍
